Once we got there, we did a test to figure out our "energy wave" scent and it was such a cool experience. Brena was my massage therapist and she was amazing. I've had a number of massages and she was one of the best- I wish I had booked more time with her! The entire experience was extremely relaxing and peaceful. There was a wide selection of tea we could enjoy from in the relaxing area before our massage and then afterwards there was trail mix and chocolate to relax with. After reading the reviews I was sure of my choice and when I called to book, they told me you get three hours to use the pa amenities and I was sold! I love a massage but I love a hot tub, robe and loafing around even more. Massage was good, I asked for medium, she adhered and I almost fell asleep. But I absolutely loved the hot tub area and relaxation room. I was at ease the entire time and the guests were quiet and polite as well. Definitely more women than men but the locker room had a nice flow of it and was never cramped or busting. I would absolutely come here again for a day of pampering!

Everything was addressed and then some! I turned into Jello after the session and headed to the hot tub. The pine trees and Bavarian influenced architecture really stood out and totally enveloped me. The locker room facilities were very organized and clean. However, we planned to spend 1/2 the day hanging out together in the spa/club. The co-ed jacuzzi and pool were located downstairs, outside, across the basketball courts (a bit awkward to walk across a court full of players in your bathing suit but oh well....). We seemed to be the only guests who even considered using the pool/jacuzzi? The area looked like it hadn't been touched in a while and could definitely use a facelift. The staff at the desk nearby encouraged me to run upstairs to grab towels as they didn't keep any down there. Ugh. The massages were ok. It felt like the staff was overworked and in a hurry to get to the next client. As a result, I couldn't really relax. The best part of the spa? The transition room....tranquil environment with cozy fireplaces, plenty of mags, stocked with fruit and water. Overall we were very underwhelmed. Funny thing was I never heard from anyone. Not a welcome to the club, not a try out this, that or the other class. NOTHING. Guess they dont need/want new members. Worst part about it was the hot tub broke the first week I was there, and was still broken 3 WEEKS later when I left. They have everything you want in a health club, showers,towels, shampoo and all the rest, so that part is OK. The spa is no longer at the health club though, its in the hotel, and its quite a walk.
