My husband gifted me a massage at Deep Roots recently, and boy oh boy, he struck gold! The massage I got was absolutely amazing, perhaps the best I've ever had! My masseuse Carly was fantastic - extremely intuitive and professional. This spot is unassuming from the outside (in the basement of the Evergreen Lodge), but the quality of the massage you receive will blow you away. And the price is very reasonable, especially given Vail's reputation for sky high prices! Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I had Lydia and Brigitte, respectively, for 90 minute sessions. They were both wonderfully attentive, and the massages were phenomenal! Brigitte provided perhaps tbe best massage I've ever had, concentrating on relaxation overall, as well as specific aches in my neck & back. I would definitely go there again, and HIGHLY recommend Deep Roots to anyone in the Vail area. read more

Deep Roots located inside (downstairs) of Evergreen Lodge. It is not part of Evergreen Lodge. We are allowed to use Hot Tub & Sauna inside Evergreen Lodge as part of agreement booking massage therapy with Deep Roots. Unfortunately, we did not realize it is NOT FULL SPA SERVICE. Therefore, robes, slippers or lockers are not provided. Only towels are provided. So, we did not have an enjoyable relaxing experience prior to our massages. As for massage therapists, she did excellent treatment. Which is the reason I only gave 4 star review read more

Lydia is amazing. It was my first time trying Thai massage and Cranialsacral. She explained everything really well and executed flawlessly.

Good location -easy getting in and out Was able to book an appointment same day! The deep tissue massage was solid; 7/10 would recommend. read more

My husband and I each had the 1.5 hour Bliss massage with CBD oil; Lydia did my massage and Molly did my husband's massage. Without a doubt these were the best massages we have ever had, anywhere. We would highly recommend Deep Roots Therapeutic Massage. Not only a treat but a necessity!! If you wish, bring a swimsuit to avail yourself of the hot tub and sauna facilities. read more

I don't often review places, but Deep Roots is too special not to share about. This was my second year in a row gifting myself an Ultimate Bliss massage with Donna, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. She is a rarity: exceptionally talented at her craft and a kind-hearted person. I'm so happy to keep this tradition going, especially with a woman-owned small biz. Of note, I am pretty particular about massages, scents, and small details and have been repeatedly impressed on all fronts. If you're looking to relax deeply and feel cared for, stop scrolling and make an appointment. read more

Absolutely amazing massages! We get massages around the world! My husband is super picky and said this was hands down the best massage he's ever had. Thank you Carly and Lydia! You made his birthday weekend! read more

I had been in a ton of prenatal back pain (or just sciatica who knows). Either way my husband felt so terribly for me that he booked a massage for me during a weekend trip to Vail. Best decision ever. My therapist was Carly. I have had dozens of deep tissue massages and she has been the best I've ever had. The pressure was perfect the service and technique, was perfect, and I hope my back will progressively get better. Can't recommend them enough, no surprise they have 5-stars. I will definitely be back again and am really bummed I live in Denver and can't make this a regular thing! read more

Deep Roots is located downstairs in the Evergreen Lodge. It's a tiny 2 room spa, but they've maximized their space and have made it a very warm, relaxing, and inviting space. We called to see if we could get 2 massage the same day, and they were able to accommodate us. Ashley showed us to the hot tub and sauna before she started my massage (mom soaked and relaxed while I had my massage). Ashley was amazing! I told her I was having lower back pain, and she made it disappear. I felt tight and tense when I walked in, and when I walked out it was as if she hit the release valve on the tension in my lower back. This was the best massage I have had so far. read more

Ok, Run!, do Not Walk to Deep Roots! Great little spa in the heart of Vail. Carly is Fantastic!!!

My massage with Spencer was heaven! He was so lovely to chat with and it was one of, if not the, best massages I've ever had. I left feeling relaxed and like all the tension in my entire body was gone. He did some magic work on my hips that I didn't even realize had been sore until he made them feel better. The price is very reasonable and the facilities were clean and relaxing.. Will definitely return the next time I am in Vail! read more

I visited deep roots for a 90 minute session for post injury work on my back. I fractured my spine but was cleared by my doctor for work and immediately came to see roots. I was able to consult with my massage therapist on what work would be right for me and the whole experience was very comforting. The massage tables are heated and aroma therapy is used to ease your senses. This is a very small massage studio but is probably one of the best I have been to. I felt like a brand new person walking out of there it was fantastic. They also offer access to the hot tub and steam rooms from the hotel that I didn't check out yet but I'm sure they are super nice. Totally recommend this place! read more

The Recover and Restore Massage (Cupping + CBD + Arnica) was the best massage I have ever had in my life. After two days of being back on skis after an extended time away from the sport and feeling pretty beat up this massage had me back on form the next day. read more

Attempting to learn how to ski at 50+ is an incredibly silly idea! LOL iIf your experience is like mine,, you will fall and will strain muscles you didn't know existed. BUT, the good news is after you gobble from the slopes and your failed attempt to be a swan gliding on the snow, make sure you have an appointment with Donna. She has the skill to release your painful joints and you'll feel practically new. Donna's friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and adept. Her space is comfy, clean and cozy. My regret is that she's not in AZ read more

Best massage I've had in a long long time if not the best. Donna was super helpful booking and answering any questions via text prior to our appt. Carly and Spencer were amazing! 90 min massages for my gf and I and it was incredible. So relaxing and just perfect. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Haven't even left the parking lot yet... & I had to write a review! I could go on & on because this was the BEST massage I have ever received! I added an additional cash tip on top of the tip I had already left when booking, because it was that good. Carly was absolutely phenomenal, extremely accommodating, & professional. The facility was clean/peaceful/calming & I won't be getting massages anywhere else besides here. Highly recommend Carly & Deep Roots! read more

Simply amazing. I'm from out of state and wish nothing more than for deep roots to be home with me! I'm usually ansty during massages and think about how much longer there is to go, not this time. I could have stayed a whole extra hour in pure bliss! My friend and I LOVED our therapist, weeds floating. Will definitely be back! read more

Donna is SO good! I left Deep roots feeling infinitely Better than when I went in. After a 12 year long Paralympic Athletic career as a skier and wheelchair basketball athlete of hard for me To find a really great body worker, especially in a resort town. I have been frequenting Deep Roots for the last 6 months. I usually get a 80 min Deep Tissue with CBD. The massages by Tibi my therapist are amazing. Probably the best massage I've ever had! Donna's work is amazing. She customized the massage exactly to my needs to include massage, heat and cupping. She also has a great instinct for what might be bothering you and hones in on those areas without you asking. The only downside is she has now set the bar for other massages so high that I'm not sure anyone will live up to it! read more

My husband and I both got massages during an anniversary getaway here, and I'm so glad we did! I spoke to the owner on the phone to book them, she was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially since I called only a few days before to see if there was any chance of getting in. The little studio is very zen and welcoming and makes you feel relaxed right when you walk in. My husband gets massages regularly because his line of work really strains his neck and back, and he said this deep-tissue massage with Amy was one of the best massages he's ever had, which is saying a lot! I've had plenty massages in the past but this was my first prenatal massage so I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was blown away! I believe my therapist's name was Carly, and she was incredible. She listened to what I wanted, made sure I was comfortable with positioning of my belly and hips the whole time, and was very intuitive to what my body needed. I was so relaxed throughout the massage and felt great afterwards. She worked out any of my stress and pain points without leaving me feeling sore. It was hands down the best massage I've ever had. I'm already trying to make a plan to come back at least once more before the baby is born for another massage, and then probably even more after that. One thing is for sure, anytime we come to Vail we will be booking some time with Deep Roots Therapeutic Massage! read more

Donna was amazing! I had an easy time scheduling on short notice which was great since I was on a short vacation. The studio was relaxing and comfortable.
