Cozy welcoming waiting area. Likely best and most thorough 90 minute deep tissue today ever. I'll be back next visit. Thank you Christine.

I've had massages all over the country for more than 20 years, and this one completely raised the bar. Stepping off the mountain and into Sunshine's care was entering a deeply sacred space. Every detail was intentional, from the temperature of the room to the music and the way she integrates her tools and techniques seamlessly. Sunshine isn't just a massage therapist; she's a masterful bodyworker who brings presence, intuition, and artistry to her craft. I left feeling restored, lighter, and deeply connected to my body (and heart!) again. If you're in Vail, don't miss this. Even better, her entire team is trained by her, so you can trust you're in exceptional hands no matter who you see. Absolute five-star experience- I'd book again in a heartbeat. read more

Groovy little place. Not your typical massage place for sure. One of the best massages I've ever had. Rollie was great at working out every ache and pain that I had. Will definitely be back! read more

Outstanding! I had a deep tissue massage with Will that was really incredible. I left feeling so much more relaxed and aligned. He really listened to what I needed, read my intake form, and customize the massage to what I needed. read more

5 Stars for a Couple' Massage Lesson that I cannot recommend enough. While visiting Vail, my husband surprised me with a couple's massage lesson session with Samantha Sunshine. It was probably one of the most fun, centering, connecting experiences we've had since getting married. We called the studio to get exact parking directions as it can be a bit confusing, but they helped us find a spot and as soon as we entered the studio we know we were in the right spot. The subtle scent of oils and soft music played as we waited. Samantha greeted us and gave us some shoes to wear as we entered a room that featured a soft, cushioned floor, some hanging silks, and a gentle atmosphere. We were led, one by one, to follow Samantha's directions is giving the other partner a full body massage (using our whole bodies as leverage). Wow- it was so connecting! What could've been an awkward lesson was actually one where we felt totally at ease and where Samantha helped us touch and hold one another in affirming, supportive ways, while stretching and ultimately feeling completely relaxed by the end. I will DEFINITELY return for a follow-up if I'm ever in the area again. Thanks so much! read more

Amazing and unique spa. The massage was relaxing and therapeutic. I will definitely return whenever I'm in vail.

This is the best massage you're going to get in the Vail Valley. Don't waste your money at the fancy "spas". Those therapists do 6 massages a day and are overworked. Not the therapists at Sunshine! read more

I visited Vail, Co last month and had my first thai/yoga/aerial massage and WOW!!! I had never ever experienced this type of massage and it was amazing! I arrived with so much tension in my neck/shoulders and left feeling refreshed, relaxed and just overall great! I wanna go back to Vail JUST to book another massage at Sunshine! I'm now in California and have been looking for something similar out here and have had no luck :( Sunshine definitely gets 5 stars!! read more

Sunshine Massage Studio - Massage Therapy Near Me - Vail, Colorado

This was such a great and memorable experience for my boyfriend and I. We booked a private yoga session with Samantha Sunshine and couples massage with Brigette and David after. I ended up mixing up the time and showing up 30 mins late to the apt which Samantha was so patient and understanding to this. Not once did she make us feel bad for showing up late (which we felt horrible) nor did she cut down on any time for our session. It was my boyfriends first time doing yoga so she was able to thoughtfully cater the session to both of our levels of experience. This was very a very fun and hands on experience we will take with us in our future practice! The massages were also amazing. If you are not familiar with Thai style massage it may be a little bit different your first time, but it is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I loved the added touch of the gong at the very end. We cannot wait to come back to Vail and book another yoga and massage session! read more

The most amazing place with amazing healers. i loved everything about this place, my therapist was amazing, knowledgeable, caring, kind and her hands were like magic on my body. The whole experience from choosing the essential oil to the sounds and experiences is undeniably special. I'm looking forward to coming back real soon. BTW I had 2 sessions each 2 hours long and I wish I could have stayed for more.. Spectacular experience read more

I just had a great 1 hour Foot massage with Bridgett. Was very pleased and my feet thanked me. The experience is more then your usual massage and i will return read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my first Thai massage. This studio is super uplifting, has great vibes, and is easy to get to wherever you're staying in Vail as it's right off of the bus line near Lionhead village. My massage artist Grace was so pleasant and kind, and gave a hell of a massage and stretch session. I'll be back and would definitely recommend! If you can, book for 90 minutes or even 2 hours! Last comment- I love the texting to book option. Super helpful: +1 (970) 300-3427 read more

If you want top skilled massage therapists who are extremely caring, kind, and nurturing, I can see why this studio has such high reviews. Unfortunately, it was unbearably warm today. To add to the discomfort, I wish I had known to wear shorts rather than leggings since lower body clothes are required. Perhaps that information could be provided with the confirmation? Glad I came early to find the location because it's a little tricky to find if brand new to Vail. I hope I can return when the weather is better because it's clear the experience could be amazing. read more

Life changing experience. I can't recommend this place enough. I didn't know what to expect but Grace made it easy for me to let my body heal. read more

Most amazing hidden gem in Vail..... in the world. You have to book in here. We did dual sessions and this experience knocked our socks off. read more

What a remarkable experience with truly lasting effects! I didn't know what to expect walking in for my massage but I was determined to keep an open mind and try to throw the past year's stresses behind me. I sat in their mini lounge and found myself chatting with Samantha, the owner. An absolute delight. Her bright, happy energy was infectious, and you could truly see the passion for what she's created. I was then greeted by my masseuse, Bridgette, and led into an epic Zen room! I instantly fell in love with the ambiance. We chatted a little, and Bridgette was intently listening for any concerns/ailments. The mattress and cushions around me felt like I was laying on clouds, they were so comfy! Every touch, pressure point and stretch was done thoughtfully and with purpose. The oils used completely cleared my breathing passages and relaxed me even more. The hot stones, hot towels, Yogi and Shiatsu style massage... everything flowed so perfectly from one to the next, and even when I thought I couldn't possibly relax any further, I would fall even deeper! I don't think I'll ever get this kind of massage anywhere else with such diversity in techniques. I'm absolutely coming back with friends and family, but I'm keeping Bridgette to myself. If you're looking for a complete reset, mental, physical, emotional, this is your place! Non-pretentious, yet thorough, genuine and powerful. Thank you and keep up the great work! read more

I have had many massages in my life and this is one of the most relaxing and healing ones I've experienced. Brigitte was amazing and helped me relax and worked out all of my back issues. There are plenty of resort spas to go to in Vail, but if you want a true healing massage experience, this is the place to go to and I will recommend to anyone who is visiting! read more

Just got done with my signature massage from Lydia and let me tell you it was amazing! She was so kind and really worked on exactly what my issues were plus gave me a ton of advice, which she also wrote down and sent me off with a smile. RUN don't walk to see Lydia! The massage is here or exactly what you hope for when you go to a physical therapist. Do you want to tell him about your pain and you want to tell them to get rid of it but at the same time you want them to make it feel good. Well that is what the studio is all about and I certainly did walk out about 90% less pain than I walked in with and that's saying something. read more

Sunshine treated my family ( 6 adults )this week and each person came home with a different experience and the same remarks . "WOW this was a fantastic experience ". Sunshine is talented , kind and incredibly thoughtful . This was a truly delightful addition to our family celebration . Thank you Sunshine read more

I booked a massage based on some reviews here and after looking at their website. It's tucked away in Lionshead Village. Such a great massage and like no other massage I've ever had. If you have a standard table and deep pressure massage in mind, think again. The therapists are so talented and really get to the main issues that are bothering you. I told them about my pain spots and let them get to work. It's also really easy to book online and fill out "paperwork" through the website so that you're ready to go when you get there. Book, keep an open mind and enjoy! read more

What a gem of a place hidden in the Rockies! After three days of powder in Vail, my buddies and I were ready for a little break and a massage was in order. I was drawn to the techniques used and Samantha's philosophy on the website. And from the moment we booked a we were not disappointed! Samantha sent a very warm welcome text to make sure we were ready for the massages the next day and was very accommodating of our schedules and needs. The massage was excellent and Samantha incorporated many new techniques which I had never experienced. A few days later I still feel refreshed and can still feel the warm spirit of generosity that emanates from her naturally. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Vail! read more

I've had at least a hundred massages in my life, but not one that has compared to Sunshine's! She is the Bruce Lee of massage--taking the best parts of many modalities and combining them into the most connected, centering and spiritually deep massage I have ever experienced. Thank you for guiding my journey, and I look forward to the next one. read more

Lydia is pure magic. I enjoyed the signature Sunshine Massage so much, that I went back a second time. This is the best massage experience I have ever had. She used various techniques. I wasn't sleeping well and my back was bothering me from the bed I was sleeping in while on vacation. Lydia got out all the kinks and knots. I was also able to get a better nights rest despite the bed. If you are in Vail and have the time, this is a must do experience! read more

Such a great find! Cozy Massage studio tucked away in the heart of Lionshead! After a long day on the hill, I was treated to a great massage in a warm, soothing environment! I was even given shorts and. T-shirt to wear for the massage! Highly recommend for anyone needing some TLC! Thank you! read more

While all my friends were on the mountain i wanted a massage. Sunshine had so many positive and absolutely glowing reviews I had to try her healing hands. Sunshine's massages are different for every client. She listens to your issues and as she works on your body she quickly learns what your body is telling her. She uses a combination of gongs to help your body awaken to the start of a wonderful massage. She also uses hot stones and wRm towels. I had 90 minutes of pure bliss and an looking forward to coming back next year. read more

Wow! Sunshine massage doesn't just sell massages, they offer experiences. From the grounding/ breathing work at the beginning, the cupping, stretching, massage work, and chiming at the end... Great massage, was in pain and Brigitte was very knowledgeable! Felt great by next morning and pain was gone! Highly recommend!

I just received the greatest massage of my life from Brigitte! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and suffer from chronic spinal issues. Massage has been a tool I often use to manage my pain. This was my first experience with Thai & Ashiatsu massage techniques and I won't settle for anything less again. I travel for work and frequently become sore from hours of walking & sitting. Sunshine Massage & Brigitte will be my "go to" whenever I'm in Vail from here on out. Thank you!!!! read more

WOW !!! Is the first word to come to mind after receiving the BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE from Samantha at her Vail studio. Being a well-seasoned massage therapist myself for 28 years and receiving thousands of massages from hundreds of practitioners, this is not something I say lightly. Samantha brings not only great skill and experience to the healing session but lots of pure and positive energy as well. Her vibration of Joy and Happiness are contagious. Because of her uniquely wonderful style of work I left there with more "space" in my body, and fluidity in my joints as I floated through my day with an infectious smile and an opened heart. Thanks again Samantha for touching my life with your kindness and compassion. You and the work you are gifted to do, are a balm for the Soul. You are truly an Earth Angel, shining your light and love in ways that can brighten up even someone's darkest days. Note: When you book with her and receive your healing sessions (which WILL BE the highlight of your visit to Vail), be sure to schedule at least 90-minutes. I have already booked my next appointment and am looking forward to being a regular on her schedule. Final thought....GO !!!! Delete review read more

Enjoyed a novel and relaxing massage on a recent Saturday morning. Allison was my masseuse and she was fabulous. She incorporated elements of Thai massage and provided firm and sustained pressure at key points. She also incorporated aromatherapy and allowed me to choose the scent she then used through different parts of the 90 minute session. During transitions she used soft chimes and ended the session with a series of gongs which provided a restorative end to a lovely experience. Would highly recommend booking a massage with Sunshine when you are in Vail. read more

We tried this place based on the rave reviews of others and it exceeded our expectations. This is not just a massage but is an entire experience. The massage techniques are innovative, the therapists are knowledgeable, and they really know how to cater to your individual needs. I just got the best massage of my life ay the Sunshine Massage Studio with Samantha Sunshine. It was soooo much more than a massage though. It was TOTAL and complete relaxation and pain relief. My shoulders have been hurting for months and she got the pain to release and be gone. She used a combination of stretching, cupping, massage and heat to work through my knots and make me feel better! Thank you so much for your love and kindness. I will drive the 2 hours from Denver just to get another one of your massage. read more

We were in Vail for our anniversary and both got two hour massages. I had never tried cupping before this - it was unbelievable. I have really bad lower back pain and pain across the middle of my back. After two hours it was completely gone. I feel amazing. I get massage regularly - this was by far one of the best experiences I have had. I also had a slight cold and she used some amazing Breathe Peppermint oil which helped clear things up. Will definitely be back. Strongly recommend two hours. You won't regret it. read more

I waited a while after my massage to reflect upon the experience and try to find words to describe it. However, it really is indescribable. You must personally experience it for yourself. But, I will try my best to do the massage justice with my review, knowing that my words will fall short. In addition to being extremely personable and attentive to my needs, Samantha used her God given talents and knowledge in deep tissue, yoga anti-gravity & Thai massage to create a very unique experience that was far superior to any other massage I have ever had. Her ability to work pressure points with her feet and hands, sometimes using four points of contact, is incredible! It is very obvious that this is not just a job for Samantha. It is her passion and purpose in life. She has literally wrote a book on yoga anti-gravity massage. In addition, she was recently named the best massage in Vail. My advice is to go ahead and book an hour and a half, in advance. Because you are not going to want her to stop! Enjoy. read more

My Highest Recommendations!! I have experienced hundreds of hours of massage in my life and consider myself a connoisseur of bodywork. What I mean by this is that I enjoy with discrimination and appreciation the subtleties and detail of Samantha's work. The professionalism, patience, techniques and exploration that Samantha Sunshine brings to each and every individual session is beyond precise definition. Each session for me has been exactly what I needed. I experience a journey into myself when under her care. Her knowledge of how the body works is in her mind, heart and hands. Depending on the modalities she is using I trust in her ability to help me release the tension in my muscles and joints. Recreating my original patterns of movement, vitality and ease in my body. Sunshine cares deeply and thoroughly about each person she works with. Whether you are a local to the area or on vacation don't miss the opportunity to work with her. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to see her again! read more
