I drove across the state to get a haircut. I was willing to make the trek due to Weldon Barbers reputation. I have been to going to Weldon for the last 10 years and I know that every stylist has been trained and I have always had a great cut and customer service. The great reputation was upheld. From the online reservation system which has always worked flawlessly continued to book my service. I am truly amazed at how well thought out the process worked. How are they going to cut my hair with a mask on? You just call when you arrive and wait in your car. The receptionist calls you and the stylist meets you at the door. They wear a mask and if you do not have one they have them at the front desk. Once at the station you keep you mask on and they move the straps around while they cut your hair. It is almost seamless. Even with all of the extra precautions put in place the cut was beyond excellent as I have become accustomed to at Weldon. Everyone is so friendly and customer service is once again paramount. The ability to pay online during the reservation process made it even easier. I felt extremely safe and feel like I got a great cut. This time, I saw Katie at the Y location, and she did a great job with my (very stubborn) hair and beard. Jessica is amazing. I'm 47 and have been getting high end hair stylist most of my life. Jessica is the best. She is an artist when it comes to hair. Not all barbers are equal. I made the mistake of having my hair cut by someone else their and received a terrible haircut. The lady was nice and apparently she fills in. But she cannot cut hair in a decent manner. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. Jessica was on vacation and I thought they all should be good. Boy was I wrong. I'm back with Jessica and I cannot be happier. This business has unfair and discriminatory practices towards people with any sort of diversity. They try to over charge for the same service they give to others based on gender and sexual orientation. Due to their discrimination I would recommend using other services. In response to your below response: That is incorrect. I timed my services. And unfortunately what you have stated is incorrect. I have a crew cut and was asked to be charged for a women's cut, which would be justified if I had a longer length of hair. I would be more than happy to pay for a justified service rendered. Sadly, that isn't the case in this circumstance. I also think your response is unprofessional and again, feel further degraded. read more

Maxine did a fantastic job blending an extreme undercut with an overzealous pompadour that was cut by another men's barbering chain. Weldon was clean, contemporary, masculine, and had all the best men's products (Aveda and Jack Black). Bravo for opening a men's barber shop and for employing trained stylists! This was my first experience at Weldon. I previously used another 'salon' for my haircuts and while Weldon does not promote themselves as a salon (they call themselves a barber shop) the look and feel said 'salon' to me as soon as I walked in. Definitely upscale. Kaylee was my stylist and listened to what I wanted and asked questions along the way to make sure she was giving me the cut I wanted. I enjoyed the warm towels around my chin and eyes! First time customers get the signature cut with scalp massage and neck shave at no extra cost, at least when I went in. As others have said the prices reflect a quality experience and cut. I definitely received both from Kaylee. Not the cheapest cut in Spokane but not the most expensive either. read more
