Insurance was covering, so price really wasn't an issue dor me. They aren't cheap, but they do amazing work. Turn around time was laid out in front of me, and they met the goal. It was a LONG process (read 1.5 months); if I didn't have a provided rental it may have affected my rating, but I did have one. Everything with the insurance process, getting me to/from the rental location, communication with me and the adjustor, and workmanship were all top notch. Ran into some issues on first attempt at a pick up, but they rectified it with fixing the issue, as well as transportation and delivery to the Irvine location. I then had wheels installed at the performance shop in Irvine. Again, it wasn't cheap, but they met all expectations. Shout out to Issa, Luis, Josh and all the of the SSR team that worked on my vehicle. If owners of high end luxury cars and supercars trust SSR, you should to. I scheduled the appointment to have a 12.3 Android Car Play unit in my Mercedes-Benz. I showed up this morning and met with Arian, a true professional at his trade as well as a kind, honest and knowledgeable individual. The shop is meticulously maintained and has a vast array of tools, work bench areas, awesome LED ceiling lighting, a waiting area, front office and conference/training room. This shop and team of professionals are a class act. Arian explained the installation process and timeline and I was quite impressed. The Rolls Royce in the shop that was getting customized with lighting and sound was a testament to the quality of work that Arian, Sam and the other team members provide when you bring your car into the shop. Arian called me when the car was completed and when I arrived gave me a very thorough orientation on the features, modes and operational functionality of the new unit. Stumbled upon this business through yelp and recently got my car window tint done here. I called in…read moreto request a quote and Alonso the owner was very helpful. He was able to take my car in the same day. When I arrived he asked if I knew how dark I wanted them (which I didn't). My car has factory tint in the rear and I wanted it to match or closely match with the front. Alonso explained the difference in the colors and showed me how dark it would look on my car. Additionally he took his time to explain the difference in films. I felt the price was reasonable and to be honest probably the best quote I had gotten. Alonso suggested tinting my windshield also for the heat rejection but I was not sure because I have never done that before so I decided on not doing it. I would say that's my only regret now because I definitely feel the difference when the sun is in front of me. I did plenty of research prior because in the past I had not had the best experience with other businesses so when I got my car I knew I wanted to be sure the business would do a great job. When doing my research evolution was the only one that had nothing but great reviews so I trusted my gut and sure enough they did a fantastic job. Additionally, I waited for my car in the lobby and got updates on the progress of my car throughout the entire service. Really nice people. Work was done fast, and for a great rate compared to other shops. I got a…read moredashcam installed, and while (so far) everything functions well, I was a bit puzzled by the position of the dash cam. It was put right in the middle of my windshield, which caused quite a visual distraction, and depending on who tells you, could be against California code regarding dashcam placement. When I got home, I repositioned the camera to one of the spots recommended by the manufacturer, next to the rearview mirror and out of direct line of sight. Another questionable choice, they cut a slot into the plastic that covers my cruise control wires instead of routing cables through the already present gap between the rear view mirror and plastic cover. This could be on me as well, as I never discussed preferred camera position with the business. I took a picture of the cut they made, as well as a picture with a red X to show where the camera was originally placed. Those choices, while a bit puzzling didn't really bother me enough to go back as ultimately I wanted my camera to be properly connected, and cables nicely routes and invisible. Newport Sound did all this perfectly and I am very happy with that. While this won't stop me from coming back myself, it is worth noting for other potential customers.

Mike was quick to contact me back through Yelp and offer very reasonable pricing. I was quoted up to $100 cheaper than other reputable places that offered the same service. The job for both vehicle looks good, and were done at a reasonable time (2 hrs for the Q4 with 1 person and 2.5 hrs for the S3 with 2 person). Customer service is outstanding also, I had multiple reschedules and they were understanding and gave me no issues about it. Definitely recommend and I am forever a loyal customer to this location for future projects.
