We needed a new water heater and water softener and contacted Weld & sons after hearing good things from another satisfied customer. I like the fact that they are family owned and are now in their 3rd generation. They are extremely customer oriented and their prices were better than the plumbing "big boys". The guys arrived at exactly the time scheduled. The steps and flooring were covered with runners. I appreciate excellent workmanship and know it when I see it. I would not hesitate to schedule them again for my plumbing needs. read more

great guys, fair pricing - there's nothing they can't fix. If they can't fix it, it is not fixable!

Weld & Sons did an outstanding job finishing the drain and vent connections for my wet bar project. Don (the owner) was excellent to work with--smart, fair, and clearly experienced. Matthew was equally impressive: professional, capable, and meticulous in his work. Their pricing was very fair, and choosing them saved me from unnecessary steps and extra cost. I'm grateful for their honesty, skill, and timeliness. Highly recommend. read more

Initially weld and sons were amazing. They are pricier, but the quality of work we had done by them was very good. We had them fix drains and various things along with them doing an excellent job helping fix a bad shower pan. However, the last call was for a few things, they got only half the issues fixed and through their own error they didn't fix one of the most important items on the list. The cost total was 2800ish. They let me know they had to come back and install a small piece on shower control they didn't have available. When they came back, they fixed the RO system (that wasn't done properly) and spent about an hour total fixing the shower (might have been a bit less but I'm being generous). The bill for the follow up items they should have done last visit, just about 600. I don't mind paying upper end $$ for good plumbers, I'm not paying that level for mid or lower tier service that charges additional money to come fix things they screwed up. Hopefully an anomaly for everyone else but beware. read more

Weld & Sons replaced and installed a new water heater. They did it for us on the same day as our first contact, which was much appreciated. Service was professional and efficient. Polite, friendly workmen. Price was very reasonable. read more

The other day a nice young man from Weld & Sons, James , came out to repair the outdoor faucet at one of my properties. I was notified he would be running late for my appointment. (The prior job had taken longer than expected). He contacted me when he was on his way to be sure I was there to let him into the cellar. He looked things over and not long afterward he arrived --he diagnosed the problem. In less than 90 minutes he replaced the feeder pipe to the outdoor faucet as well as the faucet. He did all this while I was removing young seedlings from around the property. Very efficient and friendly. A job well done and a solid value. I am sure it will last another 30 years!! read more

We've used Weld and Sons Plumbing for multiple, small projects and repairs and they've always been fantastic to work with. Scheduling is simple, communication is great, and their work has always been reliable. Highly recommend. read more

I had a water softener installed. The price was good and installation went smoothly. After 6 weeks it made loud squealing noise during the night when it regenerated. I called and had difficulty getting them to come out and assess the problem. Trying to blame it on the water pressure of 80 PSI in Plymouth. They eventually replaced part which resolved the issue. They charged me over $300 for this visit. It took 2 phone calls before I talked to the manager about the bill and eventually they cleared up. Poor customer service when having issue with the system. read more

We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom! The team (Dan, James, Marcus, Russ and Brad) were professional, punctual, and they kept everything clean during the project and finished on schedule. Highly recommend for anyone considering a bathroom add or remodel. read more

We have used Weld & Sons for several plumbing projects and their service is always professional and high quality. They also don't oversell. For example, Kent was here today to fix our toilet (high quality service as always) and said we did not need to replace the shutoff valve like I thought. The valve was just sticking because it hadn't been opened for a while. He opened and closed it several times to clear out remaing junk and works fine again. read more

Our appointment with Weld & Sons this past Tuesday morning(9/24/24) was one of the most positive experiences, that my wife and I have ever had... When Clyde arrived, we showed him a variety of water leaks & equipment malfunctions in our kitchen, bathrooms, and basement... During the approximately 3+ hours, that he was making these repairs, he was high energy, very knowledgeable, and very efficient, as he did excellent, high quality work! Based upon previous experiences, that we've had with plumbing companies, we thought it would cost us in the range of $1200-$1500- Our final bill for all of the repairs was $835. Not only that, Clyde & Sarah(who helped us set up our appt.), were really friendly, supportive, and helpful, when we had questions for them. This company rates a high 5 from us! Gary Z. read more

My neighbor's home had several water pipe leaks after their furnace went out while on vacation and pipes froze. Weld and Sons came out the next day with two plumbers. Over two days they systematically repaired approx. a dozen leaks over two days. They worked quickly and were respectful of the property owner. They tried to restrict the drywall damage to get to the leaks. They worked through lunch to complete their work to get the water running again for the owner. The bill was very reasonable considering the amount of work, broken valves replaced and parts used. (As a comparison I had plumbing work executed by disrespectful Plumbright many years ago with one plumber doing far less work who charged me far more.) Based on my experience I have no hesitancy recommending Weld and Sons to my neighbors and friends. read more

Weld & Sons did great work and they were really friendly and down to earth. Better yet: reasonable prices. We needed to replace drain pipes under the sink and reconnect fridge and dishwasher water lines. Estimates from two other companies were more than $2k. Weld & Sons: $587. That actually included them fixing a couple other minor things on our list that was not part of those two other estimates. Weld & Sons will be my first and only call from now on! read more

Always reliable service from Weld & Sons. Kurt was out to fix a leak under our kitchen sink last week. It turned out to be our garbage disposal. Unfortunately it was older and a seal had broken. Before starting work he explained what the problem was very throughly. We talked about options. He quoted his estimated work time and parts cost and asked if we were alright with that. Stand up company. They have our business for life. read more

Weld Plumbing just replaced all of the galvanized water pipes in my duplex. The owner, Don Weld, provided a consultation that was thorough and collaborative. His team, Marcus, James and Ross, clearly we're experts and provided superb customer service. They left the water on us for us every evening and cleaned up all of the construction debris so that it was a pleasure to have had them here. They were friendly, considerate, professional at all times. They will be the first people I call if I have plumbing problems in the future and I will be sure to request the same team if they are available. read more

Low integrity, predatory billing. Called Weld & Sons on a weekend when I wasn't available to come look at a leak that was pouring down from a pipe in the ceiling. I am aware of weekend pricing and that it was going to be extra, not a problem. Initially excited to have found someone available as my plumber was out of town. Technician comes out and calls me in less than 15 minutes to let me know that the upstairs dishwasher was the thing leaking (happened to be above a pipe below), and that "they don't fix dishwashers, going to have to find someone else to fix it ". No problem. Really sucks that I wasn't available to check it myself but I figure for a 15 minute call, even with the weekend pricing, shouldn't be too bad. Plumbers are insanely expensive, so maybe $150. Lord knows they couldn't with a straight face charge $200 for an unfixed issue. $375 is my bill. Yes that's correct. $375. Their call waiting boasts of their "integrity and honesty" I don't know about you, the last time I drove somewhere and fixed nothing I didn't charge a couple 8 hour days worth of work's money for it. Completely predatory. I called Mark, the manager or owner, and he says "there's nothing we can do. The technician was there checking and testing stuff". No he wasn't. He called me with the source of the leak in 15 minutes, said he couldn't fix it, and left. Absolutely horrible. Look elsewhere for your plumbing needs. There is something you can do, Mark. You can, when your technician fixes nothing, charge a reasonable price and maintain a good reputation. But you had a chance and chose money instead. read more

We have used Weld and Sons on three occasions over the past 3-4 years and there's good reason why we trust them. We like their up front pricing structure and they have always billed either at or under the estimated cost. No surprise bill at the end of the job. Additionally, their workers are friendly and on time. We will always call Weld and Sons and have referred family and friends to them with the highest recommendation. read more

We've owned our home for five years and up until now, our only plumbing needs have been for clogged drains. This time we had an actual leak, and our normal drain unclogging company advised us that we'd need a Master Plumber and recommended Weld & Sons. I'm glad they did. My only complaint is not really a complaint. They were booked out a few weeks and I had to wait (waaah!). But they were very up front about it, and they even offered to call me if there was a cancelation. They actually DID do that, and I was impressed! So anyway, Dayne was the plumber that visited my house and he called before he came. He arrived right at the start of the stated service window and was super courteous. He took about three seconds to assess the issue and showed us what was wrong. He explained what he was going to do, which included cutting a hole in the ceiling of our basement (yikes). He had to run out to his truck a couple of times and took his shoes on and off each time - even after I told him that he really didn't have to. As he worked his way through the project, he kept me updated and communicated well. And when he was done, he walked us through, explained the charges on the invoice and collected payment. I was delighted to see that first the hole in the ceiling was smaller than I thought it was going to be and second it was actually very neatly cut out. He was a total pro and we would absolutely call Weld & Sons again. In fact, I noted that our neighbor had them out to their house the next week! read more

I needed a plumber to install the vanity and toilet in a small basement half bath we were remodeling. When John (Egress Window Guy) came out to give an estimate for an egress window I needed, he let me now that the other part of the company, Weld and Sons, does plumbing. Within 24 hours I had a very fair estimate for the work. They showed up as scheduled and Ben was polite, effecientd and made sure I was satisfied every step of the way. I recently received the invoice and it was for the exact amount on the estimate. No nickel and diming for additional materials, supplies or labor. I would highly recommend Weld & Sons. read more

They were able to put us on a waitlist and came out the same day to fix our toilet. It got done fast and efficiently. Very friendly service.

They show up on time, do a good job and at a fair price. I use them for all my rental properties..

I first had an urgent need for a plumber on a Friday. Then later needed to have a pedestal sink and toilet installed in a recently remodeled bathroom. Weld & Sons to the rescue! Both times, it was Ben who rose to the occasion with timely arrival, meticulous work, thorough cleanup and very reasonable prices. I won't go into great detail. However, I will highlight one action that I think speaks volumes about Weld & Sons values and ethics. While completing the sink/toilet work, Ben ran out of white calk. He called his office to request that someone deliver new calk tubes to my home. Because he felt it was his fault to have arrived without enough material to finish the job, he did not charge for the ~30+ minute interval while waiting to be resupplied. I suspect that there are other companies out there that would have handled this situation less transparently and with less integrity. In any case, I highly recommend Weld & Sons for any and all of your future plumbing needs. read more

WOW! They got me even though others told me a four week wait. The issue was fixed fast and professional. I would call the company back for any plumbing issue. I am really impressed with Weld & Sons. We had them help us with a draining issue in the kitchen and then asked them to come back to replace plumbing to our main sewage line. Sump pump failed. Called them about 8:30 in the morning, had a new sump pump installed before lunch. How fantastic is that.

I had water rushing down the ceiling in my bathroom from the condo unit above. It was 4th of July weekend and the entire mess was getting worse as I made many calls and wasn't able to find a plumber to come out. Weld & Sons had Zack come out right away and diagnosed that the issue wasn't a pipe but back up. Since they don't do drain clean outs I called Roto Rooter to come out and after they cleared the back up I still had water coming out from my ceiling. I called Vick and he had Zack come out right away and found out that Roto Rooter hadn't replaced the toilet in the unit upstairs correctly. In both instances that they came out they were quick and efficient. Vick called me after the service to check and see how things were going which was above and beyond in customer service. I hope to never need plumbing services again but if I do I will call them first. read more

I was very impressed with Weld & Sons. They were most responsive (even by email) and friendly out of the 6 plumbing companies that we contacted. These are the people you need in a crisis. We had a water pipe bust at 3am. Following clean up we immediately sent a request to them based on their yelp ratings, (4:30am). A lovely lady rang us back first thing in the morning around 7:30...and had someone out to our home by noon. The gentleman they sent, Scott, was just a delight. Respectful, knowledgeable, kind, hard-working...actually came in on his day off to help out. He did a fantastic job on our kitchen ceiling finding the burst pipe and another frozen one in no time...and with as little damage in cutting out the ceiling as possible. This is how you run a business and create raving fans. Thank you Scott and Weld & Sons! read more

Carlton and Matthew did a great job installing a bathroom vanity and toilet in a tight space. They were prompt, efficient, and performed the work flawlessly. They also consulted with me regarding exactly how to position the vanity. Last but not least, they cleaned up the area well when they were finished. I've been extremely happy with the work performed by Weld & Sons other times I've hired them, and Carlton and Matthew continued that excellence! read more

TERRIBLE! DON'T USE! Very bad service and I didn't even get past the initial phone call. Plus their prices are outrageous!

I called early afternoon to see if someone would be able to come look at a leak in my ceiling I believed to be coming from the upstairs bathroom. I fully expected atleast a few days to be penciled in for an appointment, but they took the details of my situation and my address down, and within an hour told me they were able to send someone out this afternoon. It was a plumber who actually lived down the street from my house and it would be his last job for the day. He was extremely professional, gave me a step by step of what his plan was, removed my leak and fixed up a shotty job a contractor had done to the toilet all less than 2 hours. Very reasonably priced! Would absolutely recommend. read more
