I contacted Modern Plumbing and heating for installation of 2 new toilets because they were the only company that reached out to me via Yelp! We scheduled an estimate appointment that they did free of charge. Unheard of! Other companies I called wanted no less than $60. Jared sent text day of schedule and showed up right on the dot. I actually told him I had multiple things I needed done. New kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Both faucets in my bathrooms, toilets in each bathroom. Hand held shower head replacements in both bathrooms and then in my bathroom replacement of shower faucet and handle., They gave 20% discount because I'm a senior and 10% discount due to amount of work plus I was supplying everything down to plumbers tape.,He told me the original quote for two plumbers to come out before discounts and I almost fell over. With discounts it was doable but still more than I could afford. We met very close to that number. I almost burst into tears. I'm getting the work done for a bit more than I budgeted but this is 2 plumbers, not one. Work will be done in a day. Jared was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. So far I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much Modern Heating and Plumbing and especially to you, Jared. You made me so happy and I'm so incredibly excited for the work to begin. read more

Had my water heater replaced today. Called yesterday morning for an assessment and were back the next day with the install. Communication was great - received text messages before arrival as well as a phone call from the technician. Price was what I expected. I went small and local with service because larger services were a lot more expensive. I know so from having services from them - Ben Franklin plumbing and One Hour heating and air conditioning. Stay away from the large businesses. Call Modern Plumbing and Heating for decent service and prices. Oh, and I got $200 off for the special service! read more

Exceptional quality and workmanship! Polite and big hearted, family oriented people who went the extra mile for us, installing a new shower surround, finishing around it, installing a new water softener and updating an old water system for the laundry sink. They even helped with financing being available if we needed it. They were connected with other tradespeople who were just as helpful for a few more projects that needed to be finished. We keep the Modern Plumbing card on the refrigerator to consult for all future household/plumbing needs. Dave Rogge read more

Every single person I spoke with was so incredibly kind. I knew from the initial phone call that I wanted to work with them and I am grateful to have had the chance. JC was so nice and personable and so was Cory and Wayne. Every interaction I've had with each one of them is worth leaving a good review for. It can be tough to find an honest company nowadays and these guys are honest and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Wayne did a beautiful job for us on our boiler inspection. Thank you all! read more

We needed to replace two of our bathroom faucets. Modern Plumbing came on the same day called. The plumber came and gave us an estimate which was in our budget. After the replacements were installed he explained the installation. Eden Prairie has very hard water so our pipes on the downstairs faucet had to be cut off. We discussed a water softener and determined our mechanical room was already too cramped. read more
