I bought a water heater from them several years prior to this and that went well. I was hoping this experience would go the same way but I was wrong. All in all they came out three times. The first time they replaced the wax ring and left. Then I noticed a leak coming from where the tank bolted to the bowl after he left which was never a problem before he worked on it. I was able to slide a bucket under it to catch any drips until they could come back to fix it. So I call them back, tell them what happened, the guy comes back out to fix it. He takes the toilet apart and in the process lets water run all over the floor. The water runs along the side of my vanity, which soaked it up like a sponge because it's particle board and it ended up damaging it. The water runs underneath it and then starts running out from under the front of the vanity too. So I quickly grab some paper towels to try and clean it up as fast as I can. I pointed out to the plumber that there is water running all over the floor. After I cleaned it up I looked around to see where the water was coming from, saw the side of the vanity had started to swell, I reached down and and felt it with my hand and it was all wet and I told him that. When he sees me cleaning up the water from under the vanity he just looks at it and says, "oh, yeah, that's a lot of water" and continued working on the toilet. He didn't seem concerned about it. I was dumbfounded. After all that then he tells me I need a whole new toilet because the old one is worn out and it could start leaking badly at any minute. So they charged me for two service calls plus repairs on my toilet and now they're telling me that I need to replace it anyway??? At this point I was so upset that I don't even know what to think and I felt stuck between a rock and a hard place but felt like I had no choice but to trust his judgment and have the toilet replaced. At some point when the plumber installed the new toilet he hit the wood trim around my bathroom doorway with something and damaged that too and he never said anything to me about it. I think he was hoping that I wouldn't notice it. On a side note, I just thought it was weird that he asked me for some paper towels when he arrived the first time and he used the entire roll between the first two times he came out for repairs. When he came the third time he again asked me for another roll of paper towels. I thought, so now he wants me to supply him with materials to do his job too? I don't think so. (I had loaned him a wrench too because he didn't have the right size with him) Obviously a roll of paper towels isn't going to break me but it just seemed inappropriate to me. You don't expect the customers to supply things like that for you. They should already have everything they need to do the job in their truck. When he asked me for more paper towels I told him no and I gave him a bucket with some sponges in it and some old towels and told him to use that instead. Well, he ended up going out to his truck and coming back with his own roll of paper towels. Huh. Imagine that. Overall between the cost of repairs on my original toilet and the charge for the new toilet I spent way more than I should have and on top of it now my vanity has water damage and my wood trim is nicked/dented without even so much as an apology or even any acknowledgment of it. What a terrible way to treat your customers. The whole experience was so unprofessional to me. I will never hire this company for anything ever again.
