He was the only plumber I called that knew what I was talking about I needed a pipe frozen to put in 2 shut off valves . The 2 plumbers he sent were very good and was charged what was agreed to on the phone read more

Needed immediate plumbing work with visitors coming and Paul responded almost immediately. Zack performed the work and we were thankful for the workmanship and schedule flexibility. Would use again and definitely recommend. read more

Our installer, Zack, did a wonderful job, overcoming unexpected difficulties and shoring up the floor from a leak from the previous toilet, and cutting the pipe to line things up perfectly. A stellar job with lots of extra work involved read more

A local water shut-off of mine stopped working, and I received an outrageous $600 quote from a big chain plumbing company to fix it. I called Paul to gauge his price, and he let me know that if he had to come out that it would be much less than the chain, but also told me how to try fixing it myself first. I ended up being able to fix the issue myself for $6 and 15 minutes of time as opposed to ponying up the $600 thanks to Paul. He could have easily taken the job and charged me, and I wouldn't have known the difference. I can certainly attest to Paul's honesty and will be a customer going forward. Thanks Paul - Appreciate your help over the phone today! read more

Was given a referral for Paul the Plumber for stopped up drains. Zac showed up right on time, very thorough in diagnosing the problem & went right to work. After "snaking" & replacing a few parts everything was flowing smoothly. Very careful as to not make a mess & cleaned up after himself. Will definitely be using him again .. Thank you Paul. read more

Paul the Plumber rescued me today. I'm one of those people who isn't fortunate enough to have been born with the common sense required to handle simple fixes around the home. And no, I'm not ashamed to admit that me and common sense aren't like peas in a pod. I need to be supervised! In fact, my father, a retired mechanic, has actually forbidden me from ever learning how to change my own flat tire or the oil in my car on account of my poor ranking on the common sense scale. He says he'll rest easier knowing that I'll never attempt either of these seemingly simple fixes on my own because I'd probably do permanent damage to myself, the vehicle or both. He and my husband actually talk smack about me in this regard. But it's all good. I know they do it and I know they love me, even though thy consider me incompetent. Anyway, one of the ancient rubber hoses behind my washing machine burst this morning and turned into a geyser in my basement. I failed miserably at trying to turn the water off myself and was unsuccesful at finding a neighbor to help. I was home alone with the baby when Paul came to the rescue. He was courteous. He worked fast. He explained what he was doing and why it needed to be done. His price was reasonable. And like the previous reviewer mentioned, he really does love what he does because it came up in conversation (he's a really personable guy!) I'd absolutely recommend his services and if I ever need to be rescued from another plumbing emergency, Paul's my go-to guy. read more

I've used Paul for two jobs now. Both times he did the job for half of what other plumbers quoted me. Sure his prices are great, but so is his work. You can really tell that he loves life, and this shows through on his work. He goes above and beyond what he would need to do. I won't be using any other plumbers in the future. I recommend him to everyone I know, and if he services your area, don't hesitate....Just use him! read more

Paul the Plumber is an outstanding company. We contracted them to do the plumbing into a bathroom we were installing in our basement. Paul came to our house evaluated the job and gave us some suggestions. He had his son-in-law Mark come to do the work. They showed up on time. Did the work efficiently and left the work site clean and ready for the rest of the bathroom remodel to proceed. I would highly recommend this company for your next plumbing job. read more

I met Paul at a meeting of local business leaders. As we made our way out the door after the meeting, Paul explained how he was mentored into the plumbing trade right out of high school and how fortunate he felt to find meaning in his vocation so early in life. It shows. "Why would I want to retire, when I'm doing what I love to do?" Beyond knowing his craft, Paul the Plumber is personable and obviously finds joy in helping others find their way through rough times. He lives his truth and and finds gratitude in everyday encounters. If he doesn't get back to you right away its because he's too damn busy triaging the need for dependable service at fair rates...so try not to take it personal :D read more

I received a referral to go with Paul the Plumber. He was very friendly on the phone. Discussed options with me and told me up front what the cost would be. He was more affordable than the other 4 quotes I received. I live out of his normal service area, but he made the drive up to the NW metro to take care of my job. Great guy, great service. What more can you ask for. Thanks, Paul! read more

Paul delivers high-quality service at reasonable prices. He's also very honest and loves what he does. Highly recommended!

I hired Paul to rough in my basement bathroom, finish the installation of the faucet on a dog shower, and fix a bathroom tub faucet. I've hired a lot of contractors and Paul was one of the best to work with. He was prompt, polite, and reasonably priced. I wish there were more contractors like him. read more

One of the BEST around, hands down. Years of experience, fast service, knows what he is doing, gets the job done quickly and correctly. Our Siamese cat likes him too...she loves to explore his truck filled with nooks and crannies. :) read more

I rarely leave feedback of any kind on the internet, but I feel that others should know how strongly I recommend Paul the Plumber. My family recently requested the services of Paul the Plumber to fix drain issues. The knowledge and service provided far exceeded my expectations. He was able to fix all the problems my family was having. Paul the Plumber was also very polite to all the members of my family, and a pleasure to work with. Like those who have left reviews before me, I have to say Paul is great! He's very efficient and knowledgable, and I never thought that when I would call him to help fix my kitchen sink that I would getting a lesson as well. He told me how everything works as he was taking it apart and that really showed his integrity and honest workmanship. Prices are very reasonable (and our cat was thrilled to meet him!) for the high quality work that he does. I will be sure to recommend him to anyone in the area of his work! read more

First time in my life I didn't feel ripped off by a plumber. Paul and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Received great service at a fair and reasonable cost. I have, and will continue to, refer everyone to "Paul the Plumber". Thanks Paul read more

We bought a fixer upper in White Bear Lake in December -the inspector suggested highly that we have all the cut-off valves replaced- we contacted Paul the plumber in January and hired him at his price to do the job in January. -He had Mark his son-in-law do the work and he did a very good job - it was WONDERFUL ! - Mark quoted us a price $100.00 less than Paul had told us - so - we wrote Mark a check for the price he had quoted to us and gave him $100.00 cash if it was a mistake and if not - it would be a tip. We were very excited to get more work done and Paul explained that he had some catch up jobs to do - that he had already promised to others - but once he caught up - he would be with us !! I waited til the beginning of March and called - a couple of times a week- getting voice mail asking Paul to please just call and let us know when we could plan for him to be free to work with us -- -- i was so happy to find an honest -affordable plumber - that i would wait til - whenever -- finally the beginning of April - i got a call from Paul - i was soooo elated - i actually cried -- he called to tell me that he was sorry that he had been very busy - but that he had just got caught up with everything and was leaving on a two week cruise with his wife -and as soon as he got back - he was going to be here for us - --we could go thru our wish - list of what we needed done and see how far our $30,000.00 cash budget would take us . two weeks came and gone - I waited a few days and called - Voice mail again -- i called his son-in-law Mark -and he said that Paul was back and that i would have to call him -- i call - several times a week -for the last two weeks-- my life has had a lot of set-backs - getting laid off - my good friend Toni dying of cancer - etc- and Paul was a good thing i was looking forward to-- i left meassages and told Paul - just get back to me and let me know whats going on - and i will work with you - "nothing" -- today - thursday April, 30th - i pulled up with my spouse to the interserction in White Bear - by hwy 61 where the Holiday and white Bear Mazda is at - next to us ? Paul the Plumbers truck - him right next to us -- i dialed his number - he picked up his phone and put it back down --- i left a message and will simply say at this point - that iam VERY very HURT !!!! Paul proclaims to be a Christian- -- and he wont even return calls to tell people whats going on -- AFTER he called and told me that we were next as soon as he got back from his Cruise -- it just isnt nice to not at least explain anything . Paul is good plumber -and his son-in-law Mark is as well - but he is a lousy business man - as far as customer service is concerned ! So- hire him if you can - if he will show up and if he will return your call - but if youre hoping for a good business man - thats not what you get by my experience -and as far as being a christian ? well, you have heard my story - totally honest and no exagerations - you make your own decision. . -- to me - it shouldn;t be an issue - but since he adertises it - then -he made it an issue - read more

Paul came out in an emergency situation during the week after normal business hours to fix a sink in my property that the water would not stop running and wouldn't shut off. I called 3 plumbers expecting NO ONE to call me back since it was after 5:30pm. Paul called me back within 10 minutes, came out within 30 min and repaired my sink replacing not only my shut off valve but replacing my faucet on the spot after we realized that it was completely shot. To top that day off, he didn't charge extra or overtime for after hours. About a month later, we had another issue (old pipes) that caused a slow leak underneath and Paul came out again and repaired it. And on top of it, he knows White Bear Lake history and is great to talk to. He is one of the honest good ones in this business. He really believes in taking care of customer and not taking their money. read more

I have been using Paul for years. He is honest, hard working and always takes the time to teach me ways to do things for myself. I have never been disappointed in his work. He not only does a great job but he is always such a positive man to talk to. He will always tell you exactly what to expect and he will almost always be able to give you more than one option to resolve your problem. I hope you will consider using Paul for your next plumbing needs, you will not be anything but happy with the results. Sue C. read more

I needed a new outdoor faucet installed. My old one had froze , leaked and had been replaced 2 and repaired once. I had him move it to a differant location so it would not freeze. Mark was the service man that did the work. Price was close to his phone quote. While Mark was here he noticed a nail rubbing on a differant water line wearing on the copper water line. It would have eventully sprung a leak. He fixed that too. The work performed was awesome ! Thank you Mark read more
