The drain in the laundry room was clogged up. Dehumidifier water was all over the floor. Called a couple of places the Tim's was able to send a tech out in 45 mins. Tony Smith was the tech that showed up and he cleared out the drain and made sure is was flowing fast. Did a great job. The cost was $647, but I needed it fixed and it was the day before the 4th of July. So I needed it done and knew what the price was. I didn't get a receipt for the payment or the work done. That's not good, but the work was done to solve the issue. read more

had an issue with a week flush. Tim's homeservice came out and recommended a new toilet because of the age of it, which was legit. I needed one and it is my fault for not checking around. Dale charged me 1600.00 to install your average toilet. Should have been half that . I know I got fleeced, but just wanted it over. Do not use Tim's Home Service unless you want to throw money away. read more

Air conditioning was failing causing me to call Tim's Home Repair. I've never used them before but the scheduler told me to get my system evaluated would cost $99. "Aaron" came out and informed me that my heat exchanger was unsafe and that it should be replaced before the heating season. After checking the condenser and freon amount, he said I was down 2-3 lbs. which was almost half of the amount I should have, and informed me that it would cost over 1,1000 to charge it back up and repair a minor leak in a Shrader valve. I chose to wait to do anything and was charged 250.50 for his service call, not the 99.00 I was told on the phone. I called Center Point Energy's "Home Service Plus" the next day and they also checked out the heat exchanger and found NO problems. They also informed me that my freon was NOT insufficient and that Tim's Home service was trying to sell me a new HVAC system at 13,000. I was depending on Tim's Home Service to be reliable and informative to me and they were not honest or reliable and will never have them back into my house again. Homeowners beware. read more

I had TIm's Quality Plumbing out to replace my garbage disposal that was leaking water all over under my kitchen sink. Tony (technician) came out the same day and replaced it. He had the new disposal on hand in his van. He was very professional, yet friendly and got the job done quickly to my satisfaction ! Consider Tim's Quality Plumbing for your next plumbing needs. read more

Requested service on our AC that wasn't blowing cold air. The tech replaced the Capacitor and added 1 pound of freon, charged us $495.00 just for the capacitor, found it online direct from Carrier (the brand of our AC) for $130. Told the tech about it and he wouldn't budge on price. Total bill was over $650. Neighbor had almost the same reapir done (capacitor and they had 2 pound of freon added), and paid $350. I do not recommend this company. Travis Stewart read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience. They were able to fit me in the same day when I reached out regarding needing to have my old, leaky outdoor spigot replaced. Nate came out and he was fantastic. He was super fair and kind and was working to find solutions that would be quicker, cheaper fixes before ultimately needing to go through the wall to replace it. I spent quite a bit of time comparing companies, reading reviews, and getting quotes. I am beyond pleased to have gone with Aart's Speedy Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again! Thank you! read more

Tim's came out within a few hours of my call. He found there was a simple solution. However, the resolution was in a place that was difficult to reach. I felt like the cost was high, given the simplicity of the solution. I am also disappointed that the issue is not totally resolved. I know what to do to fix it, but am aggravated that I still need to fix the toilet/plumbing issue. read more

Great company! Friendly service with clear communication and good follow through. We had Dan C. out to cap a gas line so we could switch from a gas stove to electric. The process was explained and completed quickly. Dependable service and good prices - we've got them on speed dial for our future plumbing projects! read more

Josh did quality work and communicated well. He finished the job quickly and it looks great! Good value for the service. We'll use them again for sure. read more

Overall I recommend this plumber! We called to get a broken faucet fixed and were worried we'd have to replace the entire valve. Service was very quick, they sent someone one day later after we called. Josh was amazing, he tried everything in his power to fix it without replacing the valve and was successful, which saved us so much money and headache. He was also able to fix a separate issue with a main line valve during the same visit and did it at a discount. We appreciate his patience with our 80's build's original plumbing, and loved the reasonable pricing even more. read more

I have a collection of good trades. I count this plumber among them. Saved in my contacts

Requested minor plumbing modification and permit/approval for water heater. Service was completed but employee spent much time on the phone attempting to determine what was required to meeting building codes. He left said he would call next day...no call. So 4 business days later I called the office and they needed to check with plumber and get back to me. No response, so I called again in 3 days and left a message for the owner, but never heard from him. Called 2 days later and was told" oh yea, we submitted the request for the permit yesterday", and the info was sent to a different address. So the work did pass. Not the first time I've used there service but it will be the last. The work turned out to cost me $400/hour for 3 hours work plus $200 for parts and permit. Over priced, uncommunicative and extremely frustrating to deal with. read more

I had multiple problems with a toilet that they came and fixed. Good points: fast response, clear communication, not unreasonable costs, apparent good workmanship. The most important parts of the problem were fixed. However, though I thought I was hiring a plumber, Tim's is not presently licensed for plumbing in Minneapolis. Consequently, the site visit was done by a drain specialist, rather than a plumber, and he was not allowed to fix one minor part of the problem (a faulty shut-off valve). Overall, happy with the service. read more

Had Lonn out for an emergency service on 10/20. He was incredible! The type of old school quality and work ethic that is rare these days. Incredibly honest and fair pricing. We have our long term plumber going forward! Highly recommend! read more

I would give them zero if I could.charged me 337.50 just for coming out to look at it with no solution . Terrible. Sat in his van to make a few calls and that was it. read more

I had a leak in my kitchen sink and an issue with an outdoor faucet. I called and they were able to respond in less than 3 hours. The service professional was excellent. He explained everything to me and helped me understand my new home better through showing me how to better prepare for winter with my outside faucet. He even provided a 10% discount, which was a great surprise. I will definately use this company with any future plumbing needs. read more

We have used Tim's plumbing for 2 years, their drain and sink technicians are knowledgeable and thorough! Our 60 + year old plumbing definitely needs knowledge to keep it running properly without constant issues. They are always quick to set up appointments, on time, easy to pay, no runaround and did great work. We've never needed to call them back in to a project or had issues! You get what you pay for and this is quality work that's worth the extra money! read more

Tim was on-time and completed the job efficiently and quickly. He had the knowledge to assess the problem, recommend a solution with a quote immediately. I also used their drain service and was impressed by the quality of work and low cost. I would recommend Tim's Quality Plumbing. read more

We have been using Tim's Quality Plumbing since we bought our house a little over 30 years ago. The kitchen sink got plugged up so we needed a plumber. That morning a timeframe was given that same morning and my husband was able to meet the plumber at the house. He was on time. He was friendly and professional, explaining what he did. There was really no mess to clean up. He was very neat and clean. The kitchen sink drains just fine now! We've never had a problem with any of the plumbers who have come to our home. It's always been a good experience and whatever was wrong has been fixed the first visit. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had a new sink and faucet installed by this company and it was a COMPLETE DISASTER. The first disaster was the plumber who came out dropped my new sink and broke it. He then asked me to return the sink to the store and say it was already broken. He was extremely unprofessional and was cursing very loudly the entire time. The next day the glue he used to glue the drains down started balling up and there was glue all over my counter tops. I called the company to have someone come back out. The company sent the same plumber. He was super condescending and said it looked perfect and said the glue would eventually wear off. A few weeks later I arrived home to find 3 inches of water covering the entire main level of my home. The hose from the faucet he I installed came off and was spraying water everywhere. The company did NOTHING to assist only saying they could yet again send the same plumber out. read more

A Aart's Plumbing charged me an excessive amount to repair a leaky pipe. Lonn did not wear booties and he did not put down tarp to protect our carpet. He had to tear down sheet rock from the ceiling and he left a mess for me to clean up. He charged me over $700 to fix the leak. The next day which was a Sat. there was another leaky pipe in the same area so I called A Aart's Plumbing and got a message there there was nobody available for an emergency call. I called Plumb Right and Thomas came out right away and he was very professional. He wore a uniform and booties and he put down a tarp to protect our carpet. He had to tear down sheet rock from the ceiling and he cleaned up the mess and took it all with him. He charged me $353 to fix the pipe which was less than half as much as the amount I was charged by A Aart's Plumbing for the same kind of repair.. read more

I got a water conditioning system with the house I bought. I didn't know if it worked or what the story was with it. Tim's came out, gave me information about the system and ended up replacing it as it was over 30 years old and much better systems were available. They got the job done all same day, so I was pleased with that turn-around a lot. read more

After sending Aart's guy packing, I noticed that both HD and Lowes offered sink installation and had laundry sinks similar to ours with the drain piping included. Lowes referred me to handy.com which quoted me (blind) about $250 to install a brand new sink and haul the old one away. Their tech showed up on time and got the job done in an hour and a half including a strip to HD for a couple of PVC drain adapters. He was pleasant and efficient; I couldn't ask for more. Of course the $129 I paid Aart's for nothing still galls but there's nothing to be done about it. I will try handy.com again read more

Main sewer line was backing up. Called Tim's Quality Plumbing (also known as A Aart's & Tim's Quality Plumbing) and they sent somebody out the next day. He looked things over and gave me some options (including referring me to another company that offers hydro jetting because he didn't think augering the line would work with the massive tangle of roots that were in the line). I decided to take a chance and have him auger the line anyway and he pulled out every last root (he told me I should play the lottery because of how lucky it was that he actually got them out). I was impressed with his expertise and also that he was willing to refer me to a different company when he thought that would be the better course of action. The price was right about what I was expecting (a little less actually). He saved me a whole bunch of headache for sure. I highly recommend Tim's Quality Plumbing. read more

I started my morning with a call from my rental tenant that the hot water heater had gone out again. Being that I live in Montana i jumped on yelp looking for someone close that could help. Tim's was the first one back to me! In less than 10 minutes no less! Upon hearing my dilemma, Ashley, one of their fine dispatchers jumped int action and had someone at the house within a couple of hours (awesome). Shortly thereafter i had a call from the plumber on site who explained the situation. I decided to go ahead and replace the unit, hoping that it could get done by Friday fingers crossed. He told me to call dispatch and they would advise. I did and Ashley came through again and said they could have it installed by the end of the day!! I don't mind saying that it is tough to find good customer service these days. Tim's is definitely the exception! They did an amazing job and I couldn't be more pleased. read more

Finally, I've found a plumbing company. Every time I've needed a plumber I've tried someone different never satisfied. The search has ended. Brittney in the office over the phone was awesome Followed up by Lonn onsite. Called in at 11:30 had a new water heater by 3:45. I may have got lucky they had an opening that day regardless. I was quoted a rough estimate and they delivered no hidden-up charges. Lonn was outstanding explaining everything Feels good to know this is the company I'll be calling every time for any future plumbing needs. Thanks' for a great experience. We had a leaky tub faucet and were quoted $700 by a different business to fix it, and they didn't have the parts to fix it that day. We called A Art's and their plumber (I think his name was Lonn) came out the next day. He had the parts needed to fix it on his truck and completed the work for $200 less than the other plumber! He was professional, prompt and did great work. We were extremely happy with the quality and price of the repairs and would definitely recommend this business. read more

I love this plumber for drains, pipes and fixtures. Great service! Today, I had a leak between my floor drain and the my sump pump which fills with rancid waste water. Paul arrived within the window. He fixed the problem, was friendly and careful, and cleaned up the area when he finished, and he didn't seem phased by my dog's constant barking. I had to laugh when I got into Yelp to post this. The example post from Yelp suggested: "There are few times in life when a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is nothing short of genius. Last night, I had one of those." LOL! A Art's Quality Plumbing is very customer centric. They have done several plumbing jobs for me including installation of a ice machine, numerous clogs toilets, reconfigured plumbing and installed a garbage disposal. They always answer the phone and respond quickly. Recently my daughter had a clogged toilet at her apartment. We called a Art's Plumbing and they arrived within hours. She cannot say enough good things about John. He was in and out in 15 minutes. Plumbing always seems expensive, but A Art's Quality Plumbing their pricing seems fair. We had a very bad experience with AArt's Speedy Plumbing. My 91 year old mother paid a total of $455 for a simple replacement of washing machine water shut-off valves. Another plumber had given her an estimate of about $200 to do this job, but he would not wear a mask during this coronavirus time, so she hired this company. The plumber "Ike" was unprofessional; she had to ask him twice to put his mask back on. When he connected the drain hose to the drain pipe, he asked her for an old rag to secure it. Really? And charging more than master plumbing rates? I called the company and requested to speak to the owner, but he has not returned my call. Shoddy work and financial exploitation of a senior is a crime. They should hang their heads in shame. read more

Bad experience actual bill was twice as much as what the quote was. when I spoke with him to see why we were charged twice the amount of what the quote was they told me because it took twice as long as expected to work on it. I said yes that is correct That's because your plumber did not have the correct tool so he sat there and tried to get the job done with the wrong tool instead of going to buy the proper tool so he could do it in the correct amount of time. The technician was honest with me and told me he had the wrong tool and that's why it took so long because he was trying to force other tools to fit and work. read more

We called Aarts and Tims for a running toilet. The tech came out the same day to repair. However, after replacing a part that didn't solve the problem - We were still charged for the service call. When we told them the problem was not fixed we had a second visit by another plumber from Aarts and Tims who said we needed to replace the whole toilet unit. This visit was again charged for parts and labor. They said they were giving us a discount for the first call, but why were we charged at all when the problem was NOT fixed during that call. Not happy with these service charges. read more

We had a great experience with Lonn, Mary and Darryl at Tim's Plumbing. We needed a new water heater and kitchen faucet and when I called to see about an appointment, both Darryl and Mary were incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions patiently. We scheduled an appointment within the week, which was a pleasant surprise. Lonn appeared right on time and was very knowledgeable and thorough. He identified another issue while he was here (because he is so thorough) and stayed later than he expected so he could resolve that issue for us as well. He also made sure the area was very clean before he left. I will definitely call Tim's Plumbing for our next job - no hesitation at all. read more

BEWARE - Speedy, but SPENDY $$$$$ - you'll pay an arm and a leg if you use them. They will not quote an hourly rate (by the job only) and it will be $200+ per hour. My regular plumber had surgery and wasn't working, so I called Tim's, and was shocked that the bill was 2x's what I expected. Plus when we needed a drain catch, my husband offered to go and pick it up a few miles away and he said he had it on the truck.... charged $140 for a part we could have bought for $40. What a joke. I called and talked with him, and they offered me $25 off my next bill - WHAT is that a JOKE?? I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. Customer service was pathetic after the fact. He will say we agreed to the price when the plumber arrived (they have many) but what were we going to do at that point? Turn him away?? We should have - live and learn. ALSO this review was posted and deleted somehow from June and 6 months later all his work is shoddy and things are falling apart with my water dispenser - UGH! DO NOT USE THIS GUY - OVERPRICED AND POOR WORKMANSHIP. read more
