I've had nothing, but good experiences, at this store. The fruits and vegetables are up to par. Let's say, not bad. The deli, meats, and bakery, is to be loved for. Store is always clean. They keep the checkout lanes moving quickly. When they are all open... The neighborhood location is fantastic. I hope your experiences, are as smooth as are, most of mine. As a senior citizen, I strongly dislike that often times there isn't any check out lanes attended by a check out person. There wasn't a hand held scanner so I had to hoist one of three heavy boxes of water to run over the scanner. An attendee adjusted the screen, since they often misinterpret what you are trying to do. I was not going to lift all three boxes of water to put in the check out area. Since employees are hired to stand around and watch what you do, why can't they check out the groceries. read more

Where do I start, only one full service checkout. Old wilted vegetables many times they are missing items. People are not helpful, seem to be more interested just standing around. Live in Springridge but drive to New Market to grocery shop. The convenience of Weis to me is not enough reason to go there. read more

Love this Weis! The prices are great and no matter what I seem to be looking for, they have it!

American owned and they stay out of politics. They focus on their products and their customers. The workers are all nice and they go out of their way to help. I will only shop there. This should be where everyone shops! read more

Went to the deli at 6:05 pm, was told that it was closed while I was standing right in front of a sign that said "open until 7:00", terrible way to run a business that we as a community rely on! read more

Terrible place to do business. I've continued to use the Pharmacy because of it's convenience to the neighborhood, despite the terrible customer service. I just found out that prescriptions I've been told had been denied by my insurance were in fact approved, but Weis decided they wouldn't fill them because they have their own schedule. read more

I've been using this Weis since the day they opened. I've never had a problem finding what I need, including organic items, the pharmacy is quick, and they have lots of good ready to go deli items. The place is always clean and it's very rare that I've ever come in here couldn't find what I wanted. read more

Some staff are fine, but I have encountered enough rude and curt cashiers and staff to have taken note. One particular encounter involved me coming in at approximately 11:57pm. I thought the store was open until 1. That is my mistake. But the store is technically open until 12. As soon as I walked through the door, an employee approached me and said, "What you need? We close in 2 minutes." I apologized and left. Again, I would not have come in at this time if I knew they were just about to close. But your only job is to be courteous. All you needed to say was, "Hey, sorry we'll be closing in a minute! Unless you need something quick, do you mind coming back tomorrow?" That's not what I got. No apology for the inconvenience or anything. I don't know if this person was a cashier or a manager, but I hope it is not the latter. There was a time when I went to the deli right after they closed and they were perfectly polite about it. read more

I shop in Weis 2 to 3 times a week, Since 2004. This Store has gone through alot of changes, I Love this store People complain about prices well they have gone up everywhere. I recently had to switch my son's prescription over to weis in Spring Ridge due to insurance issues with our previous pharmacy. I will say, I have never been so disappointed and disgusted. The male pharmacist on staff was completely rude and degrading. I have never received service like this and hope I never do again. However, I would like to point out the wonderful customer service from the employee answering the phone behind customer service. She was very polite and understanding. Unfortunately, when it comes to the pharmacy, they get a huge thumbs down. Weis really needs to do a better job with training their employees on customer service. I would expect much more from a Pharmacist. read more

I have lived in this neighborhood for 25 years. I've been coming to to this location for years now. Tonight, I was greeted by the night shift with "we're closing in fifteen minutes." So I walked down the aisles and downloaded this app. I was again reminded by the same woman, riding in an ez-go scooter that they were closing soon. Expensive prices, poor selection of products, and horrible service. The food court area has no menu or pricing posted in an area where customers can view before placing an order. This corner of the store is either overcrowded with customers and has numerous Weis staff standing around doing nothing. Or it's empty and no staff are around to take an order (long before closing time). When I have placed a simple order (8 pieces of fried chicken or a standard pizza) it typically takes 20 - 40 minutes before the order is ready for pickup. After waiting for such a long time, the pizza was undercooked and other times, the food that was prepared didn't correctly match the order. Overall, the staff have horrible attitudes and make it clear that they don't want to be there. In order to exit the parking lot and get back on the main road, you're forced to drive through a residential community. Based on consistent negative customer experiences, Weis will no longer get my business. I would rather drive 10 miles to my usual grocery chain that may be farther away, but has much better prices and highly competent employees who work hard and sincerely care about providing great service. read more

Be very careful when you purchase sale items. Price at the register may not be the same. If you catch it the service department is very nice and refunds your money. That said I have had to question the prices several times in the past, so beware. read more

Called at 4pm. Sat on hold for 10 minutes only to be told the department I called for (pizza) only to be told they were closed. Horrible.

I live in the neighborhood that this store is located in so I visit it a LOT. The checkout staff is relatively nice and pleasant. However, I'm docking 3 stars because of the nasty pharmacy cashier/technician. My doctor had sent in a prescription for an inhaler that I needed and my dad went to pick it up for me the next day. When he got there, the lady said she JUST received it (though my doctor and online followmyhealth account confirmed otherwise). She then told him that he'd need to wait an hour. He waited by the pharmacy and they had it done in around 15 minutes but she was nasty and rude the entire time and had a negative attitude. read more

The store advertises sales items in big red letters like 99 cents for Hanover frozen vegetables but the fact that you have to buy 6 packages is in teeny weeny letters that you couldn't read without a magnifying glass on your hands and knees. So buyer beware in Weis! read more

I go to the Franklin store in New Jersey, This week shell steaks on sale....Sunday they had one package in the case...no manager to be found. Went back Tuesday nothing in the case. steaks are on sale for 5.99 family pack. No sale item and no manager. Shrimp on sale 11.99 and 14.99...sale item not in casa...no manager to be found. What's going on in this store ? The other nearest store for me is in Newton 12 miles away. read more
