I researched and read a lot of reviews on many brands and models and the number one complaint from other companies/stores was the poor delivery and set up by outsourced delivery companies. Weirs does their own deliveries/installations by their own, well trained employees. Jason and Stephanie delivered our GE Profile washer and dryer. Set up was perfect and Jason showed me how to get started with this high tech set. Friendly, knowledgeable Weirs employee as expected! I was searching for answers about a slide-in induction range...Jeremy patiently walked the store with me, discussed the pros and cons about induction vs gas, great knowledge on each brand...I never felt rushed or that I was asking dumb questions or that my aesthetics were not valued! We had a house fire last September. It was time for us to get our appliances for the contractor to put them in. We bought six of them the best thing that weirs had going for them was Winona she was our salesperson. She was amazing! On the 23rd of July our refrigerator came in so all six pieces were there with our name on it. Today two days before they're supposed to be delivered they call and tell me they have no refrigerator. I asked where it went. I cannot believe that a company would sell something not once but twice. How dishonest. I don't know how they can make make this right, I'm not even sure if they're going to try. My advice would be steer clear of wiers! Buyer beware!!!! After 11 months we're almost home and now we won't have a refrigerator. How disgusting! Word of mouth breaks or makes a company, unless they perform some kind of a miracle I will tell everybody I know of my personal experience with weirs of how they treated me as a customer. We only went to weirs based on what other people told us, we were told how wonderful this company was. This was my first time in, and it as a weekend so it's based on this . Also keeping in mind that any appliance part are hard to find being this end of times craziness. The store looked like it was either switching out a lot of stuff or just being put back in. There was only one person running the counter and answering phones. We purchased several appliances from Weir's this year, and I'm so pleased we did. They had a great selection of brands I was interested in, and a comprehensive website you can check out with exact items. I did price check with a few different places and they offered me to match the one or two that were lower. This is great customer service. I called and spoke with Jeremy L, who could not have been nicer and more understanding of my wants and needs in terms of brand and budget. He even came out to my home to measure on his time off which was super appreciated, and helped me decide to choose Weir's. I also like that every time I enter the store, I am greeted by someone but not accosted while I shop - left with time and space to browse. The 0% financing for a year was also super helpful. We ended up buying a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and double oven (over Whirlpool) and Wolf gas cooktop as well as Whirlpool stainless steal downdraft fan. It's been a few months and we are so happy with our choices. The only -1 is from the company they employ to do the installation, Thompson Appliance. I've had issues with them including bad personal customer service, cutting my granite too wide and overcharging. Thompson did fix the work but the bill is still being negotiated; I understand this is not Weir's fault but I do not recommend they continue working relationship with them if it's such a large part of the experience. read more

The space the washer and dryer were going into is very tricky and tight but the guys took their time and assured me that they've done many tight spaces and they sure did it! I have bought from Weirs Appliances many times over the years & recently I needed to find a new washing machine. Once again, they took great care of me. Working with Jason based on what I was replacing made it an easy decision. The delivery was done by Blake & Devin who were so courteous & careful. Unfortunately, the new machine had a water leak & they discovered it as they were setting it up. They took that machine back to the truck & offered to get us a loaner until another new machine could be ordered. The day we were to receive the loaner, Carlos & Levi came back, but had my new machine to install instead of a loaner. They were equally as courteous & professional in installing the new washer. Jason was always in touch with me until I was taken care of. Weirs has always taken good care of their customers & I feel that is worth a lot given this day & age. We were shopping for a new dishwasher and Jeremy was absolutely great. For one thing, right off the bat he didn't call us "guys". My wife will always point out that she is "not a guy". Bonus points. We had great in-person service with Jeremy for our first visit to the store when we were there looking for a stove replacement. Then after comparing other places we could purchase the same stove from we decided to take a chance on Weir's rather than go with either of the big box stores that had bad delivery reviews. We called to order the stove over the phone with Weirs and Winona was very helpful in price matching. The stove was on backorder and expected to arrive in March, but then we got a call that it was ready for delivery a few weeks early! The delivery by Miles & Ellis was also a great experience. This kills me because the purchasing experience and the delivery experience are two very very different things. Delivery: 5 stars. Ellis and Miles were amazing. They were very careful and detail oriented getting the old refrigerator out and the new one in. They communicated very clearly about what they were doing and why. They were nice to my pets! Just perfect. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The purchasing experience was miserable. We bought the frig in mid-November and here we are the end of June FINALLY with our frig. We were told we would get it in early January. That date came and went without any phone call or email. Nothing. We had to reach out to them and ask what was going on in January. And then the end of January. And then the beginning of Feb. and then mid March. By April they caught on that maybe they should be reaching out to us with updates. And every update was a maybe by the end of the month. I understand stuff goes on back order and that's no fault of the carrier but the complete lack of initiative for communication is unprofessional. Overall I won't be using them again. We were lucky that the old frig worked just froze everything. If we didn't have the old one I'm not sure what the situation would have been. No frig for 7 months is pretty extreme. read more

Getting an appliance replaced in 2020 is not easy! This year has seen an acute shortage of all domestic appliances. Calls to the "big box' stores, were not returned; they clearly had no interest in replacing a washer and dryer. Weirs, on the other hand, went to great lengths to make sure that could happen. True, there was a six week wait for them to even get the appliances in stock, but that seemed to be the average with all appliance stores during these unusual times. Once the units arrived at Weir's making an appointment for installation was easy. The technician arrived on time, and had the washer and dryer replaced in about two hours. we purchased a GE Cafe' 4-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer from Weir's in September 2023. The fridge was back ordered and was finally delivered in March 2024. The fridge is everything we had hoped for. Our sales associate was very knowledgeable and helped us select the perfect fridge that met our size limitations and preferred options. The installers, both Miles and Derek, were very professional and took great care in relocating our old fridge to make way for the new fridge. The sales staff helped me know I was in the right place immediately. They were low-key, informative and quickly helped us solve our selection choices as our space for a new refrigerator was unusual. They found an appropriate selection quickly arranged delivery quickly and when Chris delivered it he was able to maneuver our "unusual" appliances (the old and the new) with the eye of a seasoned expert despite his youth. The price we paid was less than other supplier could offer due to our uncommon size restrictions.
