Warning for buyers. Just don't let this dude in your house for repairs. Also don't get used from here either the tests the boss does are bullshit. We had to have repair people come out every other month with no actual fix just a remedy. Just bought brand new from bestbuy to FIX the fridge we got from here. Super disappointing in the repair man's dishonesty. My son left his nintendo switch on the couch and left for school in the morning. It never left the couch. No one misplaced it. I just want to toot a horn for Appliance Discount NW ... they recently had to close their Lakewood location due to the property being sold, but the 20-25 min drive to Spanaway is well worth it!! Jason and Dave are amazing, Justin does install (and others, I can't recall all their names!) - they're honest, fair, and true to their word - EVERY TIME. We have 4 different refurb appliances from them, all have been great. Name brand Washer, dryer, fridge, and dishwasher ... Last year when the washing machine we bought had a pump issue, not only did they fix it, but they delivered a "loaner" for us to use while they took ours back to the shop and waited for parts to come in. These guys are the real deal!! On the flip, last time we bought a brand new wash/dry set from a big box store it took 5 calls and days just to arrange repair through a third party who, frankly, didn't care. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Appliance Discount NW on 2 occasions. I'm retired and on a fixed income. Three years ago, I was in need of a refrigerator. I found one on the Appliance Discount NW website and called and spoke to Jason. He stated that they had several of that model in stock and a couple of them had small scratches on them. I asked him to pick me out the best one. The refrigerator was delivered the next day. The delivery people were great. They were careful in my home and they had the refrigerator installed and the old one out in less than 15 minutes. I inspected the refrigerator and it appeared to be new. I could not find a single scratch on it. Two weeks ago, I was in need of a new washer. Of course, I checked the Appliance Discount NW website. I found a Kenmore washer and it was delivered in 2 days. When washing the first load, the washer started making a loud clanging noise during the raise and spin cycle. I called Jason and he had a repair person out on Saturday. I needed to find a dryer for my mom & niece. I live in LA, and called appliance Discount NW. I believe I spoke with Alicia. They were very helpful. .Unfortunately they sold out of the dryer that my niece originally wanted that she found on their website. But when I called they assured me that they would have a similar one within a few days and that they would hold it for me. I called back in a few days and sure enough they had saved me a dryer for the exact same price as the first one. I was able to give all of my credit card information to them over the phone which was incredibly convenient for me, again I live in a different state and was paying for it. They delivered it promptly, and removed their old dryer, i'm not sure the new one was up and running properly. I've had to by many used appliances, and I can't believe how affordable everything was. When I called my niece, she was so excited to finally have a working dryer, she told me that they were on time incredibly polite and followed all the COVID-19 guidelines. Refrigerators last about 15 years. They give you the first year 100% warranty which means that the refrigerator is going to last. Really great customer service. My old washing machine went out on a Sunday - I had a new one in my SUV and home within an hour. Had a few issues with it a few weeks later (after all, it is USED, so you're sometimes going to have some issues) and a repair tech came out within two days. Since it was a computer board issue, Jason and his team had a replacement out to me within HOURS! I had a broken washer so I had Sears come out to estimate a repair. That alone was $100. The estimate ran nearly $500 and they still couldn't guarantee it would work. Plus they said the dryer was also going out. Well, after looking on-line I found Appliance NW. My son and I took a trip in. The staff were friendly and not pushy. They answered every question and told us of the great warranty. After locating a washer and dryer for less than the "repair" quote, I bought them. We set the delivery for 2 days. The night before the delivery, it snowed, so the delivery was delayed. Another day was given which I had to decline as my son and I both work nights and the delivery time was during our sleep. Finally a good date / time was given. The two gentlemen (whose names I did not get) that did the delivery were very nice and efficient. I expected just a drop off, but no, they installed them too! And took the old w/d away. The main guy seemed to know all the little tips and tricks with these units (like if the washer needs a reset, just lean it forward and set it back down). Very helpful. I was looking for parts for my Kenmore refrigerator. The shelves kept breaking. They had a few used Kenmore refrigerators in what they called their bone yard. They had the parts I needed and he gave them to me for free. I got 3 door shelves and a drawer. He told me that they gave a 90 parts warranty but were not sticklers and if something happened around 120 days they would still fix it. I moved to JBLM a couple years ago and was in need of a washer and dryer as our rental didn't include them and the laundromat just wasn't working for me anymore. I started looking online for some good deals on used appliances but everything was still out of my price range and when I factored in shipping and installation it added up to a small fortune. I found Appliance NW online and even though they were in Puyallup I figured they were worth the drive. I am so glad I made the trip, they were absolutely worth it. I came in mid week and they're selection was a bit limited since they'd already sold a lot of their stock. I told the guys what I needed and my price range, I didn't need something high end or a set that matched, just a heavy duty washer and dryer. The guy that was helping me found me a set (different brands) that were about the same age and size and gave me a great deal on both, they even delivered and installed at my address on JBLM. Delivery was quick, within 2 days (again we were a bit further out of their delivery area), the installation was fast and professional and done right. I spent less with delivery and installation on my appliances than I would have on one item alone. Appliance NW provided a 90 day warranty and discounted repairs should I need them outside of that period. It's been two years since I purchased my washer and dryer and they are still running strong without any problems. I highly recommend them for their great customer service. My family has had a horrible experience with the company and their employers. Two men came to fix two different appliances, and one walked in my home without a mask. When asked to please wear one in my home as my immune system is compromised (pregnant), the man proceeded to tell me what he "legally" does not have to do in my home- which I found very disrespectful and shocking considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. We ended up with absolutely nothing being fixed, nor an apology for the amount of unprofessionalism. After speaking with the owner we still were not given any apology or resolution but instead was hit with all the reasons this employee did not need to be wearing a mask...If the employee had explained any special circumstances beforehand it may have been understood, but instead they responded extremely rude and walked out after being asked politely to wear a mask. Very Unprofessional business practices and lacking ALL Customer Service knowledge. We originally brought Jason at Appliance NW a refrigerator that we had just purchased to be checked out and have any repairs needed, taken care of. We ended up purchasing a new range, over the range microwave and a dish washer . The appliances in our new home were nearly new but we wanted all stainless, so we made a deal that he could have all the other appliances. Total price 1600$. We put half down and financed the other half. All was fine. The only used appliance was the dish washer,. Deliver and Install happened end of January 2014. All was well until the night of the install (after they left) .The dish washer was opened up to load and I noticed the soap reservoirs (2) were closed. So upon opening them there was slimy, moldy caked on gunk inside. I took pictures and decided to inspect the refrigerator. Now keep in mind this fridge was fine / complete. The freezer drawers were missing, the ice basket was also missing and the vegetable drawer was cracked in the front. Now when we brought the fridge in to have it checked, Jason tried to buy it from us. Stating how nice it was and complete and he could not believe we only paid 200$ for it because it was a easy 900$ fridge. The next day we went to the shop and let Jason know about the dirty dish washer. I told him I took care of it and it was not a huge deal. We asked about the drawers and he immediately said they were never there. I argued with him and he decided that he would call the repair center. He was told that the basket and the drawer were broken and were thrown out. After a short debate, he said he would order and replace them. So days turn into weeks and we do not hear from Jason. We stop by and can clearly see him through the window and he high tails it to the back room and says he is not there. Another issue we had was, when the microwave was installed, they silicone a light bulb in. It shattered when it was turned on. We called about this as well. These items had a 90 day warranty....... the service manager had m e TEXT him a picture, WE STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM. We had to take the entire bottom apart to get to the inners of the fixture because it had to be pried out with needle nose pliers. ALL BECAUSE THEY USED SILICONE to INSTALL a Light bulb and didn't want to put screws in the screw holes that hold it in place. The dish washer has come dislodged from the counter on one side because they used teeny tiny screws.............all and all POOR installation and POOR customer service. After wasting time and gas I finally got my new drawers but it was a fight. I still have to get my microwave bottom repaired and it should be JASON's responsibility to do so since I have all the dated texts sent to them regarding this, along with all my wasted time calling and driving. Think I would rather do business with people who actually care about their reputation and how they treat their customers. AND who can actually step up and have a conversation with them instead of running to the back room and lying about being in the building. NO thanks! Oh and by the way they also lied about the drawer purchase. First it was they ordered them, them it was they were discontinued and they could get them and then finally the drawers were there. They never called us ...NOT ONE TIME to tell us any of this. So when I say NEW drawers I actually mean they are probably my original drawers that they gave back ......but at least I have them. And if you look up the part number you CAN STILL ORDER these drawers new online. So they are dishonst as well. read more

Nice people, but incredibly unorganized and unresponsive. I called to get a dishwasher repaired. It took 2 weeks to get a guy out to my home. He determined my motor was bad and was going to order the part. A week goes by and I hear nothing, so I call. They say they'll look in to it and get back to me. They don't. I call a couple of days later, they say they don't think the part got ordered, let me check and I'll call you back. They don't. Now it's two weeks after the initial visit and I got nothing. The Service guy that came out was knowledgeable but their office function is inept. I was hoping they'd be great, but they aren't. A lot of phone service but no actual service. read more
