    The repair man who stole my son's Nintendo switch

    Warning for buyers. Just don't let this dude in your house for repairs. Also don't get used from here either the tests the boss does are bullshit. We had to have repair people come out every other month with no actual fix just a remedy. Just bought brand new from bestbuy to FIX the fridge we got from here. Super disappointing in the repair man's dishonesty. My son left his nintendo switch on the couch and left for school in the morning. It never left the couch. No one misplaced it. I tore my apartment UPPPP! These don't have legs and walk on their own either. Your more than welcome to come look too. Repairman LIED to his boss said he was never left alone but we have camera footage proving otherwise. He was left alone 3-4 different times. I was hoping he wouldn't lie to his boss. If you wanna sit with me and go thru that footage I absolutely will come down and show you he was left alone several times. Since he lied to you about that this only CONFIRMS my suspicion. It doesn't matter if he doesn't play video games, it could be sold, given to relatives as a gift etc. ITS PIERCE COUNTY. I didn't wanna go back and forth on the phone but again. I tore my apartment up thinking I was going crazy. This man was the only man in and out that was a stranger and WAS left alone several different times and there was opportunity. You guys have been nothing but amazing with coming out and helping but he really did take the switch. It's not here, anywhere and I can show you him left alone.

    649 for our like new washer and dryer matching set.  Sadly. the washer was .5  inches too big to move up.

I described my issue with my freezer (loud buzzing sound when the motor comes on) and he was able to schedule a technician to come by on Monday afternoon to work around my schedule. The technician, Vasyl, texted me when he was on his way and arrived promptly as scheduled. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (ice build up that was hitting the freezer fan when it turns on). To repair, I needed to move all the food items out of the freezer and into coolers, and Vasyl was able to quickly repair the issue by manually defrosting the ice build up using a commercial steamer tool. He inspected the fan and it was still operating normally and no buzzing, so it did not need to be replaced. He was able to diagnose the issue and finish the work within one hour of arrival. The repair price was reasonable and the inspection fee was waived since I went ahead with the repair. Vasyl also answered my questions about how to prevent this from happening again and also some recommendations on future fridges when it is time to replace mine. Vasyl was very friendly, professional, and courteous. Thank you Vitalii and Vasyl for fixing my fridge on such short notice. My family really appreciates the quick turnaround, fast diagnosis and repair, your transparency on the issue, and not recommending any unnecessary replacement parts. You saved us money from buying a whole new fridge!

    I contacted Ben's Appliance about my leaking refrigerator and communicated with Elizabeth via text,…read morephotos, and several phone calls to diagnose the issue. I was given a tentative diagnosis and an estimated cost via text. When Ben came to do the repair, I was not home, but my mother was present. After the work was completed, my mother called to inform me of the total cost, which was double the estimate I was provided. I asked to speak with Ben to ask for clarification. As soon as I expressed my concern, Ben became highly agitated and began yelling, claiming the higher cost was due to taking everything apart. I had to ask him to stop shouting at me because I was simply trying to understand the charges, not to avoid payment. I also told him that I felt he should have discussed and explained what the problem was and the cost before the repair began, especially given the significant deviation from the estimate. When I told him what I was quoted, he said it was wrong and that he would "chastize" her later. After we hung up, he continued yelling at my mother in our home, then slammed the door after being paid. Once I reviewed the receipt, I noticed the reason the price was different was due to a "service fee". Not the additional labor cost to take everything apart, as Ben mentioned. Elizabeth was actually in the ballpark with the cost for the "repair". She just failed to mention the fee for them to come out. I called Elizabeth to provide feedback and to ask why this fee wasn't disclosed upfront. She said it wasn't mentioned because I "never asked." I guess I wasn't specific enough when I asked how much it would cost for them to come out and fix it. She then put me on speaker, and Ben again became defensive, yelling, and calling me a clown before abruptly ending the call. I understand that estimates can change, but fixed fees should be disclosed and discussed upfront. Treating a PAYING customer disrespectfully when requesting clarification is entirely unacceptable. I caution anyone considering Ben's Appliance.

    This business might be a scam. They have come out to fix our refrigerator twice - and no complaints…read morethere. But - the same problem persisted weeks after the second fix. I tried calling - left a message. Again, left a message. Left another. Then my wife. Then me again. No call back. So - I was frustrated and scheduled an appointment. I didn't get any confirmation, so I called again and got the answering machine. I called back from a 503 number and low and behold, I finally talk to someone. They said that I have an appointment (tomorrow at 1PM). I saw something like - 'I must have missed the confirmation message' but there was none. The next day transpires and it is a no-call no-show. It is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left a final message saying it seems like you are screening your calls and not responding to me for what I can only think is you don't want to have to fix the repair you made that did t work. Then my wife started calling again and again... got someone that said they would 'transfer her to accounting' -- HAHA! There is no 'accounting department' - what a scam. I just can't believe you were just so bad at every aspect and interaction. All the calls, the messages unreturned, no confirmation for the visit, the no-call no-show, how easy it was to get a hold of you from a different 503 number, and then the lie about the accounting department. How are you even in business?

Quick diagnosis (broken belt), quick repair and reasonable price (total after tax $300.00). New machine would have been $900.00. 5 year warranty on the job. Nice guys, tidy, vacuumed everything up, gave me advice on how to avoid repairs with my washing machine too. In and out in no time. They also repaired my gas stove a couple of years ago with no fuss.
