I'm pleased to be purchasing from a family-owned and operated business. Two men arrived on the day and time as promised but with a gas oven instead of electric. It was not a problem for us to wait 2 days to get the electric one. I was disappointed only one delivery man came the second time. The size and shape of the two steps into our home made it seem impossible to get it in with one person. My adult son was able to hold it once the mover tipped it so the mover could slide a hand truck under it. With my back issues I would not have been able to help the mover even if he had wanted my help. If two men had come to deliver the oven I would have given Weirs Appliances 5 stars. read more

One star for hopefully a working machine. A second star for quickness and hauling the other machine away. Cool. Thanks but I could have done all those things. To find a machine and set it up myself. Supporting local and helping a them have a chance to have more clients was the intent. After my experience I will not be working with Weir's again. It does not seem very unreasonable to ask for footwear coverings going through an all carpet household. I am incredibly upset at the disrespect and lack of care. Having this business for this long should undoubtedly offer that simple bit of service. I will not be recommending clients, friends, family and their friends, family and clients to this business, especially for an in home delivery and installation. The guy seemed ok overall in attitude and promptness but I also did not want my carpets to be soiled in the process. How unfortunate all around. read more

These 2 guys showed incredible care, worked out the best approach to get the old stove out and the new one in without any scratching. Removed the doors on both Oven-Ranges (the old and the new) to get them through my tight doorway. Tested everything, and then burned off the inner coating, all with VERY GOOD communication throughout the whole delivery, and as friendly as can be... Delivering to Anderson Island is not always easy but they arrived when they said they would. The installation process went smoothly. Miles who installed the appliances was polite and professional. The old microwave had not been put in correctly and was difficult to remove but Miles persevered and figured it out without getting frustrated even though it took longer than normal. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Best Buy in 2025. It worked for six weeks. I spent the next six weeks trying to get Frigidaire to repair or replace the refrigerator. It wasn't an issue with Best Buy, because the warranty was through Frigidaire. Finally after 3 months of an inoperable refrigerator Frigidaire finally sent a virtual credit card to buy another one. I went to Weirs. They delivered it in a week and told me if there were any problems, to call them and they'd be right out. I was shocked. Wish I had the name of the two guys that delivered and installed it. I would mention their names here because they were great! A week later, my washing machine quit working properly. No more big box stores for me! I went straight to Weirs! Two days later, Carlos and Nathan delivered and installed it. They also were amazing. Go to Weirs! Don't go to the big box stores! Since the refrigerator was under warranty we began to work with Frigidaire which was a customer service nightmare to say the least. The older woman on the phone has no clue what she's talking about. We have previously called this line to get our washer serviced and they provided us with a company to contact and it went great. However this lady was very rude and snarky right off the bat and cut me off numerous times claiming they don't do service- so she gave me a number to call and they didn't do service either. She then proceeded to keep telling me to call "anyone" to do the service since they all would do it yet the one she recommended didn't? Yeah no thanks- don't do customer service if you aren't willing to help and be rude right off the bat. read more
