I went in for emergency care because my dentist is Jewish and was worshiping but my wisdom tooth had me in agony. Turns out I had an infection (not cavity) near the bone because of how the tooth was growing ( in an "S" formation close to the root). At the time of the visit, I had taken nearly a bottle of Motrin and could not find relief. The reception and dental assistant were both very gentle and sweet, constantly checking on me while I waited. The wait wasn't ridiculous despite there being about 5 families/ groups ahead of me. After about 30 mins I saw the dr who was a young Jewish guy, very caring and warm. He took his time to look at the images. He explained because of how the tooth was growing they'd have to extract it but because of how it would affect my bite, they had to insert an implant at a later date. What I didn't expect was the projected bill of $11,000 despite having insurance. Baby! I would take that tooth out myself from the pain and that cost. I was flabbergasted. Like why? For transparency I am showing the bill. Thank God he prescribed me some pain medication to help me get through the night and the next morning I went right back to my dentist. Even the next day, his staff called several times to check up on me and see how I was doing. Again, 10 stars on the patient care. That price though is a straight hustle.

I walked into the Lynbrook office in October 2023 and met with the best dentist I have ever had, Dr. Laura Izzo. Dr. Izzo did a complete evaluation and set out a plan, and they were very upfront concerning the maximum possible cost. The plan took several months to complete, and not only did we come in at $1,400 under the aforementioned "max," but the result of their work is a thrilled patient who feels he has teeth (and life) again! Dental365 is my dentist for life!

Not a fan of dentist offices...but I thank my lucky stars every six months, when I get my cleaning,…read moreI really have the greatest dentist. I am a nightmare patient. When I was younger, I had an awful dental experience of which, I can't remember (I unconsciously blocked it out.) Ever since, I am a nervous nelly. It worsened recently out of the blue. I am religious with my six month cleanings. Do I look forward to it? NO! I am lucky though, I rarely have problems with my teeth so my shaking, sweating and crying, only lasts a short time. Dr. Hardej is a saint. He always calms me and tries to make me feel at ease. His hygienists are also amazing. Melanie is, well, top of the class. I am a girl of few words, and again my dental visits are very stressful, so I am not big on small talk. She really can read my nervous body language and is so gentle and efficient I want no one other than her, polishing them up. Afterwards, my teeth are always so sparkly and feel great after her cleaning. I was super nervous going into my last cleaning. Melanie was on maternity leave. I called to cancel my appointment until Melanie got back. The hilarious and plucky receptionist Roxanne, assured me the new hygienist, Veronica would cater to my nerves and needs! As the day approached the office, I was so nervous. A new person touching my teeth? The last time that happened I had a panic attack. It's so weird because the minute I walk into Dr. H's office, I am cool as a cuc. Maybe its all the magazines, or the comfy chairs, the music? As I am ushered into the room, I feel as if I am walking to the electric chair. It is stupid and over-reactive, but that is how frightened I am. In the long run, Veronica was excellent. I guess she felt the anxiety emitting from my being and said she'd make it as stress free as possible. And she did. Thank goodness. Of course it was X-ray time for me, and guess what, I HAVE A CAVITY! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This sounded like Hell for me. Ultimate Hell. As the appointment was made and the business card was handed to me, I was put into a panic. I have had cavities filled before but it didn't matter. I was scared to the core. So February, 21, 2013 - 6:45PM - T-minus 30 minutes to my breaking point.... 6:50 - Yes my appointment is at 7:15. I need to arrive early. Its just me. I will wait hours, especially if I am nervous. 7:30PM - Sitting in the chair, scared as f***, trying to play it down...Dr. Hardej asked me if there was anything he could do to calm me? Looking into his eyes, as petrified and overly anxious, I just tried to dive into it and deal with it. He is awesome, making me laugh, changing the tunes...awesome guy. Time is lost after this point... Novocaine is administered. I feel myself trembling like a leaf. I really appreciate Dr. Hardej's patient care. In the end, his clean work, eased my imaginary pain.

Stay away from this place! Let me start with the fact that this review is not about the actual…read moreservices rendered, it's about their billing practices and their customer service. My son had an impacted molar that needed to be removed. Dr. Richard Mirra did the procedure and my son is fine. However, when we made the appointment we told them that he didn't want general anesthesia. But when my son arrived he was told the doctor cannot do the procedure unless he has general anesthesia so he signed for it. A couple of years ago he had an impacted molar removed at a different place and did not have to do general anesthesia. Long story short, the insurance company denied the claim. They will not pay if it's not more than one extraction. I called the office and they said they will resubmit the claim with additional information. It was rejected again. So I called my insurance to find out what additional information was submitted and why wasn't it paid? They said the office submitted a letter indicating that the reason they had to do general anesthesia was because my son suffers from anxiety and phobia from a previous trauma. This was a lie and a false claim. When I called the office I spoke to the office manager, her name is Christine. I wanted her to explain why they submitted this false narrative? If the doctor felt he needed to go under, why not just explain why? I could not believe how nasty this woman was! She was not just rude, she was condescending and told me it was common practice to send these letters. She thought she was doing me a favor. It was clear that they just wanted to charge extra for the anesthesia and I didn't feel I should have to pay almost $500 for something that was not medically necessary. So I figured since my son signed for it, we should at the very least split the cost, reduce my bill. This woman berated me on the phone and eventually hung up on me. I decided to drive to the office, but by the time I got there the office was closed. On the way to the office another woman calls me and tells me if I pay the bill now she will reduce the bill by 50%. This is what I asked for to begin with! CHRISTINE expected me to just pay the money. I did not have a good night. I couldn't stop thinking about how condescending CHRISTINE was. After all I am a customer. Isn't that the reason you're in business. Is this how you treat all of your customers. I decided to go in person to speak to the doctor. It's his private practice and he should be aware of how his patients are treated. Well NOPE! He not only didn't come out to speak with me but they called the police on me! I spoke to the cops and it was all fine. I am pretty sure that I am not the only patient CHRISTINE treated that way. I wanted her to know that this is not ok! She should be working in a back room with zero interactions with customers! Disgusting Customer Service!! Shame on these doctors who continue to employ people like this!
