As far as patient care is concerned, I would give this place 10 stars. They lost me on the cost of the services. I went in for emergency care because my dentist is Jewish and was worshiping but my wisdom tooth had me in agony. Turns out I had an infection (not cavity) near the bone because of how the tooth was growing ( in an "S" formation close to the root). At the time of the visit, I had taken nearly a bottle of Motrin and could not find relief. The reception and dental assistant were both very gentle and sweet, constantly checking on me while I waited. The wait wasn't ridiculous despite there being about 5 families/ groups ahead of me. After about 30 mins I saw the dr who was a young Jewish guy, very caring and warm. He took his time to look at the images. He explained because of how the tooth was growing they'd have to extract it but because of how it would affect my bite, they had to insert an implant at a later date. What I didn't expect was the projected bill of $11,000 despite having insurance. Baby! I would take that tooth out myself from the pain and that cost. I was flabbergasted. Like why? For transparency I am showing the bill. Thank God he prescribed me some pain medication to help me get through the night and the next morning I went right back to my dentist. Even the next day, his staff called several times to check up on me and see how I was doing. Again, 10 stars on the patient care. That price though is a straight hustle. read more

My experience at this office was excellent. Not only was my wait time short, but the staff are friendly and very welcoming. The office is also crispy clean and all of the dental equipment looks new and up to date! I usually feel very uneasy and queazy on dental visits, but i felt so comfortable and at ease here! Also, Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to insurance policies and such. He's a great help, in addition to being patient and professional! Do not come here! This office is absolutely insane when it comes to finding things to charge you with. They give you one quote and then 5 min before they come running into the room with a different paper for you to sign because they've increased the quote and then a week later after you've paid you'll Find a 3rd bill in the mail Because they've increased the quote again. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Going to make the commute and go back to my old dentist to save on hundreds of dollars since this office is only interested in collecting from insurance and their patients as much as they possibly can. I've gone to this location a few times. Very aesthetically pleasing. The first time I went, I told them I was having pain in my wisdom teeth. So what happened? I got a cleaning. Then I was told the person who could extract those wisdom teeth wasn't in. That would have been nice to know from the beginning. Made my follow up appointment for a cleaning at the right interval. That went OK. The next cleaning after that, I was dropped from the schedule. Fine. Now two months ago, I decided "lets get the wisdom teeth removed". Make an appointment for a Friday in November. 10 days prior to the appointment, now I'm told I have to reschedule. Moral of the story: If you want just a cleaning - go here. If you want anything else, don't hold your breath on setting an appointment. read more

It's very rare to find a dental office that cares about their patients. First time at this location and I would recommend it to anyone. My dental hygienist was Paula and she was very nice. I had no issues with her cleaning my teeth as she was very thorough and gentle. The office is nice and the fact that they are open on Sunday is very convenient. This place is the best! I called them on a Saturday, they gave me an appointment for the next day (Sunday) at 11:15. I arrived, filled out paper work, had x-rays, a consultation, and 2 wisdom teeth removed all by 12:30. I was blown away. They talked me through aftercare instructions several times and even gave me a print out. They even called me about 2 days after the surgery to see how I was doing! Awesome. Everyone was helpful and very friendly which was nice. The offices and waiting areas were very clean. Dr.K did a great job and I will absolutely return here if need be. read more

Due to being on a post-surgery blood thinner, my 6-month checkup was postponed months ago. Don't like missing them. So it was rescheduled for today, hoping I would be off the blood thinner by then. I am not. Office recently called saying they had no hygienist for a Saturday until September. Kylie at the Front Desk rescheduled me to a September Saturday appointment. Weekday appointments are not possible for me due to work. She also put on the emergency list so if there were a cancellation she would get me in sooner. Kylie understood that I REALLY hated waiting another 3 months. Well, at 9AM today, Kylie called with a 10AM slot! I jumped at it. Kylie even contacted my doctor to get his medical clearance for a cleaning. She saved me from having to do it. Plus, she called me to let me know I was medically cleared. Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE and follow up! No better example than that. When I arrived, waiting room was empty. Told me not to even sit down. Immediately ushered me to the bathroom to wash my hands. Many surfaces were plastic-covered. The door was open so no need to touch the door knob. Immaculate! Vicky, my favorite Hygienist, welcomed me back. I try to see Vicky if possible. She knew of my medication. She wore 2 cloth masks and a plastic shield. Took X-rays. No water or ultrasonic cleaner was used to eliminate aerosolization, which could spread viruses and other nasty stuff. She deftly used the metal pick. She was very gentle. Each room has a big machine that sucks any spray coming from you out of the room. Placed near your head. Like a big vacuum cleaner. Could not have a "deep cleaning" because of the blood thinner but, when I left, my teeth felt cleaner than ever! After the cleaning, Dr. Borkes examined me. Said all looked good. She is very kind and gentle too. Vicky then booked my next appointment. Handed me a goodie bag. I left with a smile, thanking everybody for their kindness and compassion. I was one of their first customers. So glad I gave them a shot. They are ultra-modern and meticulously clean. It's cliche but they really treat you like family! They are the best! I visited Dental 365 Lynbrook NY on 4/20/19 was in some pain fm a previous procedure (not performed here.) When I saw the Dr and was examined and x-rays were given she prescribed me First mouthwash BLM (which is a form of Lidocaine). I used it for only 2 days (it gave only temporary relief.) I then had to see a perio on 4/22/19 to find out that I had a bacteria infection was put on antibiotics along with another rinse for 10 days. I did ask if she saw any infection which she replied no. She was more interested in a tooth that may have a cavity which she also mentioned that can be removed because there is no tooth on the bottom. Be Careful!!!! read more

Went for a cleaning and ended up needing root canal. Ok fine, it's a nice office..... big BUT. I have a pretty good dental coverage and after my cleaning they told me I need a root canal and a crown. Prints out the estimate..... 1500k for both root canal and crown; I was pretty shock appalled. I was like, did these people even check how much my insurance cost. I said no way im going back. I looked around and found a place that does root canal for $130! And crown for $250...... it's like they charge your insurance and then they charge for their clinic, $1500 is ridiculous! I could pay that $1500 easy, but besides the point. Also, the dentist walked in and told me without even looking at my tooth, says I need a root canal. So I basically just spent literally less than 3 minutes thinking he would see me, listen to my concerns, but no. Just told me to open my mouth and asked if I have pain around the gums..... ummm you tell me, you're the dentist. He didn't even touch any of the tooth to see where the pain is coming from. Usually when the tooth hurts, it feels like all the teeth hurts, but it's really just one. I'm wondering about these reviews, did you guys pay these people or they're just gullible and naive bc my experience was bad. The dental hygienist though was pretty nice. I had a great experience at Dental365 in Lynbrook. The office is very clean and modern. Shawana and John greeted me and were able to answer any of my questions. Dr Wilson by far, has one of the best bed side manners for any profession. Vicky the Hygienist was attentive, fast and knows what she is doing. The application of that numbing gel significantly reduced the sensation and I had no pain while she performed the cleaning. This is my first review on Yelp, and I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience at Dental 365 that I thought it was important to pass my perspective along. The offices were clean, the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, and the dentistry professional and painless. MY EXPERIENCE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER! Then, as I was about to post this review, I saw a review posted today by a person that I encountered while I was in the dental chair. The review by "PJ S", posted just prior to mine, needs some explanation. This person claimed the premises were not clean because there was a dog in the dental offices. The dog upon whom his criticism is based is my service dog. Not a just a dog, not an emotional support dog, a SERVICE DOG who accompanies me everywhere for my health and safety. Under the "Americans With Disabilities Act, (Federal Law) Dental 365 could not have excluded him, even if they wanted to. THIS WAS MADE CLEAR to PJ when he protested. Although PJ knew this when he posted, he chose not to include this pertinent fact in his review. This disingenuous pseudo-intellectual merely seeks to trash the majority of businesses that he reviews. Read his reviews. I went to Dental365 today for a cleaning. I ended up purchasing their office plan, it was a great price for what it includes! Jonathan at the front desk was very helpful in explaining the cost savings, not having dental insurance makes things difficult! The hygienist Monique cleaned my teeth, she was so nice and very helpful! She kept stopping to make sure I was not having discomfort and spent the time with the doctor to make sure he looked at the teeth she thought he needed to. Staff is super friendly and very welcoming! Good Dr.'s. I love the music playlist that u can choose from while u r getting your mouth worked on. I visited dental 365 for my 6 month routine check up and it was GREAT! The office is extremely clean, modern and had televisions in every exam room in which you could listen to any pandora station of your choice. The equipment was completely up to date and extremely clean. Dina, the hygienist, had such a pleasant bedside manner and put all of my nerves at ease. This will be a long review but I need to get it out. I worked around the block from the Lynbrook office. I called to make an appointment because I felt like I had my first cavity at 27 years old. I am VERY nervous of needles and dentists but I have always gone for my annual check up. My first appointment was right before Christmas, they took x-rays and found I have 2 cavities. They asked me if I wanted a regular fill-in OR the better option of an "Onlay" a mix between a cap and a fill-in. Not knowing any better I agreed on the Onlay. They took the imprints. Gave me a temporary (that was the most uncomfortable feeling in the world) and told me to come back in 2 weeks for the permanent. I was told this piece of gum feeling temporary could fall out, not to swallow it! I cam back 2 weeks later, anxious to get this gum like feeling temporary out, only to get all numb and find out that the permanent one does not fit correctly! In went yet another temporary (they expedited the new onlay and told to come back in 1 week) Upon my return one week later. The permanent onlay was put in and instantly it felt uncomfortable. I was told over and over that it was because I was numb. NO, it was loose and I felt it every time I bit down it would jiggle. The dentist was getting exasperated with me because I kept telling him it just didn't feel right. I left the office in tears not feeling comfortable. It's been 3 weeks it feel terrible I feel like I have a film over those two teeth and as much as I brush and clean it they just don't feel right! Now, every time I chew on that side I have terrible pain it hurts as if I need a root canal which I probably needed from the get-go. Unfortunately I switch companies and wont have dental insurance for another month. All in all this place might be good for an emergency, but I would never use them as your "dentist" After 3 visits it's still not right and I am in pain. Let alone I don't know what they did with the billing that after them telling me I needed to pay only $300 out of pocket my insurance is billing me $1,230.00?!?! seriously I am so unhappy! read more

I am a big fan of this place, especially of Dr. Kalaie. He's been my dentist for a couple of years now. What I like about him is that he is thorough yet time efficient. A quality not often found with other dentists. Also I feel that he is considerate of costs and only suggests extra work when it is necessary. The dental hygienists are also professional and good at what they do. On top of all that the office is brand new and so are all the tools and machines.
