Just had the most devastating experience ever with Dr. Robert Peskin, DDS. He used the whitening…read moreproduct Zoom and never gave any warning (to my daughter) about the possible pain it could cause. Then after the excruciating pain was inflicted, he did not call in the pain meds as he said he did. The pharmacist had to track him down to get the Rx. He is touted as a "pain management" dentist but there was only pain, no management. He claims he never saw such a reaction to Zoom. That is a bizarre statement from a seasoned professional. Even if it were the first time (which is doubtful) he should not be saying such a statement to a person in agony, from something that he just administered. And if he doesn't know the possible affects of Zoom then he is not knowledgeable and should not be using Zoom on his patients. I just learned (from a dentist) that a patient should be medicated with 600 mg of advil beforehand and should be using Sensodyne toothpaste for 2 wks before. Dr. Peskin took no precautions before using the product. With so many dentists out there, go to one who tells the truth about products and about whether he called in a Rx. Go to a dentist that actually cares about the well-being of his patients. A doctor should "do no harm". Dr. Peskin did so much harm to my daughter and all he cares about is the money. He had time to put the charge card through but did not have time to call the pharmacist!
