Irresponsible practice. Scheduled 2 appts for a Saturday. We were running 5-10 mins late due to traffic, called 5 times to ask if there was any grace period. No answer. Arrive to the suite, door is locked, i knock, i keep calling the office, i even text the website's AI bot.... Radio silence. Their availability for today was posted on 3 different websites, where you can schedule with them for the day. And google also had them as "open". Whatever scenario happened, they sold, they left, it is irresponsible. Wasted a whole morning for nothing. read more

If you're looking for a dentist who is gentle, pleasant and really knows what they're doing then go see Dr. Joseph! I hadn't been to the dentist in years and years (sad, but true). After meeting Dr. Joseph at a civic function I decided that I liked her demeanor and if I was going to finally get back into the chair, she was as good a person as any. And now that I've become her patient I am happy that I made the right choice to do so!! I am a HUGE "fraidy cat" with a very low threshold for pain. Plus I get mentally worked-up and nervous about anything mildly medical. I say this so that you understand the magnitude of what I'm about to say: I never once felt a twinge of pain while she did a cleaning and then fixed 4 cavities... and during one of those cavities I literally FELL ASLEEP IN THE CHAIR! That's how gentle it was! Dr. Joseph is one of those "old fashioned" doctors in that she takes the time to really talk with you, looks you in the eye, and doesn't rush you. She fully explained everything, gave me options and recommendations, and made me feel like I was in good hands the entire time. She's also not "judgy" like some dentists are... in other words, she won't give you that stern look for not flossing and instead she'll just smile and will give you options that work with your lifestyle and habits. Her office has all new state-of-the-art equipment plus a TV in every room - AND she gives you the remote control! Dr. Joseph also let me put my ear buds in so I could listen to music instead of focusing on the drill noise, which helped my nerves a lot. I have been to many dentists in my life and Dr. Joseph was by far the best. The office was very clean and modern. She was not bouncing around from room to room like in one of those giant "mills" and was focusing just on me. She spent over an hour with me during my yearly physical. She did the cleaning herself instead of hiring a dental hygienist, which I loved. I needed a little bit of work done and the novocaine injection was PAINLESS. She has always been a great dentist - incredible bedside manner, very attentive, and she actually answers all my questions and takes the time to explain things! But I am writing this because in addition to her being a dentist I actually trust and like, she has an amazing new office that I fell in love with. An ex-boyfriend recommended Dr. Kramer to me, and he was by far the best thing I got out of that relationship. He has an incredible bedside manner. I felt really comfortable and taken care of the whole time. I got my teeth cleaned, which I hate (who doesn't?) and Dr. Kramer made it as pleasant as possible. I have a strong gag reflex, and when I told him that, he was very careful not to trigger it. He also bonded a tooth for me and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it the whole time. I had initially asked him just to file the chip down, but he told me it would be better to bond it, and why. He is so sweet, so gentle, and I absolutely loved seeing him. Don't let the dingy outside of the building dissuade you. Let me count the ways I had a first-rate experience with Dr. Kramer: *His staff treated me courteously and actually did some research to let me know ahead of time what the charges would be for the services I needed. Sounds like a no brainer, huh? It was pulling teeth to get this info from other neighborhood dentists, and with some I never succeeded in spite of repeated calls. Even if I got this information, the staff at other offices made me feel like I was a fussy pain in the ass, instead of someone needing to get dental work done at a reasonable rate. *He was OK with using recent X-rays and records from another dentist. Many other offices required a $100+ consultation as a new patient before they would do ANY dental work for me. *He did his best to help me find the lowest-cost options possible for the dental work I needed done. *He did all that he could to accommodate my fear of injections/dental procedures. He charged a reasonable fee for nitrous oxide, and used the nitrous humanely, judiciously, and with careful concern for my well-being. He combined procedures to minimize the times I have to visit and endure injections. *He did not make me feel like a loon because of my fears. *He really took his time to make sure my filling was shaped properly to ensure a comfortable bite. *His rates were very reasonable. On top of all this, for me there's an old-fashioned comfort in working with an office that has ONE receptionist, ONE dental assistant, and ONE dentist. Given my limitations as a patient (money constraints, fears), I've often had less-than-ideal encounters with dentists/dental practices. It's a relief to find such quality care at such reasonable rates. read more

Dr. Kramer stands out among all the dentists I've been to (over a dozen -- sad) for being (1) gentle, (2) nice & nonjudgmental, and (3) transparent. Lots of times dentists want to keep the costs of work a little hidden -- they beat around the bush, don't care when your insurance runs out, etc. -- but Dr. Kramer will work with you and your insurance to make a plan that works for you.
