After the procedure, I learned that these practices seem to have become common following the acquisition of the clinic by its new corporate owner, who appears to engage systematically in maximizing claims against insurance and then pursuing patients for the balance, a practice known as balance billing. This is particularly concerning given that such practices are now prohibited under New Jersey state law. Furthermore, there appears to be a pattern of similar complaints against this provider, as evident from multiple ongoing legal cases in the New Jersey Superior Court, indicating a troubling trend in their approach to billing and patient communication. Easy to park compared to other valley offices as there is a private lot for this plaza. The waiting room was mostly empty when I was waiting for my appointment and check in was easy. The only complaint I had which is not valleys fault were other patients coughing and sneezing and not covering their mouths.
