Unfortunately, taking a pill to "go to sleep" is going to make you wake up in the middle of the procedure multiple times. By doing general anesthesia (AKa going to an actual clinic) it also ensures that the doctor is able to be AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE with whatever procedure you're going through. I definitely burnt my wallet by coming here, I should've went to an actual clinic. The doctor and his assistant are very friendly, but it's definitely not worth it going here. I came here as a first-timer on a Groupon for a Dermaplaning Facial with Custom Hydrojelly Mask. I was so pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and quality of care, that I will definitely be a repeat customer! Here's why... when I purchase a Groupon, I never know if I'm going to get the full service, or an abbreviated version since I paid for the service at a discounted price. I called this location just prior to purchasing the Groupon because I wanted an appointment for a specific day. I spoke with Monica, who was very pleasant and set up my appointment. We did end up having to reschedule for a different day, but Monica was very professional in giving me enough notice and working with me to set up another appointment right away. The day of my appointment, I arrived at the exact start time and apologized as I usually like to arrive earlier to fill out the paperwork. Monica greeted me and said it was no problem. As I was filling out the paperwork, Dr. Fondacaro walked two patients out. He smiled and seemed pleasant, even though my treatment didn't involve any interaction with him. Monica performed the Dermaplaning and explained the whole process before we started. You have to lie very still, so there wasn't much talking during the treatment. Monica asked what I was looking to improve, facial skin-wise, and was very helpful in examining the condition of my skin and telling me what other treatments would be beneficial and what treatments I can skip. To me, not talking someone into something they don't need is the sign of a good professional. The custom Hydrojelly Mask was (and literally felt like) the icing on the cake. Monica's demeanor and soft & steady hands allowed me to relax and trust her (which is needed when you have a scalpel so close to your face). I've gotten botox a few times in my life and I've come here twice. Only here do the 11s area require 35 CC instead of 20 (I've gotten 20 every other time and it's worked perfectly) when I mentioned it when I came back in to address the issue, the guy behind the front desk was rude when I tried to explain that it's not normal. And told me I'd have to pay for 10cc and they could offer 5 if I wanted it. Not sure if it's the brand they use or they're not injecting the right areas but it makes absolutely no sense to me and I didn't appreciate how the guy spoke to me clearly he was annoyed and it was quite obvious. Had liposuction with the doctor in December on my outer thighs and love handles, I had two follow up visits and realized by June that I would need to touch it up especially on my outer thighs, each time dr fondocaro took pictures and we looked at them on a big screen side by side to see differences. I went back for a touch up on Saturday August 10. The doctor took me right on time and made sure he took more from the areas needed. He spoke with both my husband and I each time and explained the process and what he would be doing. I LOVE my results. I love my figure now and I am very happy with Dr. Fondocaro and my surgery. Doctor is a butcher and unprofessional, no one is in the room with you during medical procedures. The area was not numb and proceeded to perform liposuction on area. Dr was told to stop and he didn't. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Unless you want to be traumatized and be out thousands of dollars. Plus he is not a board certified plastic surgeon. Poor customer service! Buyer beware! It is February and just called to make an appointment, but cannot be seen until MAY! This is not so great for laser hair removal. They are very hard to get a hold of, and do not even answer the phone during said business hours. They then give you tons of attitude on the phone. I purchased a micro dermabrasion voucher via Amazon Local. After leaving more than1 message over the past several months - one as recently as April 12th at 3:27pm. I was rudely told and I quote "we always call every person back". Needless to say I never received a return phone call. Very very disappointed. When you walk in, people talk very nicely but the service is very deceiving and poor. I was treated for laser hair removal. During the process they do not treat the complete area so the patient will have to come for more sittings. That is one of their tactic to collect more money. During the process patient wont pay attention to the area as they will be focusing on the pain, during that time the doctor/assistant doesn't treat the complete area. They told me that the hair will grow back in 4-6 weeks after a treatment, but my hair started growing the next day. That means they did not treat the hair root..if its burnt to the root it would take at least a week or so to start growth again. Believe me they are very smart at deceiving. I went in the summer for Botox. I got a special off Living Social. It was $99.00 plus tax for 20 units of Botox. It did not work. I went back a week later and he charged me again to fix what he never did right. I personally believe there was more saline then Botox..Nice guy, but business must be off if he is doing this which leads me to believe he was cutting corners on the Botox. If you need laser hair removal, I do not recommend. The woman who does that in the Brick, NJ office does not explain anything at all. She is very unprofessional and if you have any questions, she does not give you any answers. Very Shady. I have seen a Dr. in passing in that office who was much more friendly than her. I have been told in passing from other people that other offices that they have gone to, give you a consult before starting laser hair removal, a test zap with the laser and they even answer your questions and give you an ice pack for your face after the procedure. I bought the groupon package for laser hit removal. each session I had different experience since they change the laser machine for my treatment. I was not satisfied with their customer service, they did not accept to the treatment for my 3 sessions because for two of them I had late cancellation which i called the day of my treatment which was mondays but they wanted to leave voice mail on weekends that they were closed. When i just called to make my second appointment, they would not honor voucher that was purchased in March 2012, and not expired.
