Let's go one by one: Dr. Kassir- the level of professionalism, bedside manner, care, expertise, love and patience you are getting with him is beyond what i have experienced with any of my previous plastic surgeons (4 others). I can genuinely say from the moment my mother and i booked with him we felt we were in good hands but when we met him we knew. All worries and concerns went away because he really listens and wants you to be happy with your results. I was disheartened to read the other reviews because he is far from a doctor that only cares about your money. Yes, he is pricey but that is directly correlated to the results I received and the level of care and importance he has placed on my desires in reference to my appearance and results. He has continually seen me to check my results, as he did with my mom and hers. For myself it has been a year and i have had 10-15 different appointments from checking up on results to little changes i wanted to try with injections and lasers or fixing scars from previous doctors. He even fixed mistakes from previous doctors without hesitation and without charging me a ridiculous amount or nothing at all because he is that caring. For my mom it's been 3 years and she has been there and done the same. Never once have they denied our requests or been dishonest about predicted results or costs. We always get honest care and instructions on their policies when booking. He is a wonderful family man that makes his patients feel like his extended family. You never leave them without him catching up with you and asking about your lovely family and life. You never feel rushed out. Lastly, a lot of times we think this is an all solving solution to your aesthetic needs and forget that he places instructions on lifestyle and after care to reach optimal result. He has miracle hands that work miracles but we also have to be consistent with the after care and be responsible with his schedule and be respectful to all helping us. I still see him for all my aesthetic needs today. The doctor and his team are still extremely accommodating, understanding, kind and professional. I'm writing about my horrible experience getting a rhinoplasty with Dr. Kassir. If you are reading this, RUN AWAY or reconsider going for a consultation or going through with a surgery with Dr. Kassir as I truly don't even believe he deserves 1 star. I had broken my nose and needed a minor fix. In our initial consultation which was about 10 minutes long, he assured me he could reset my nose and would NOT touch my tip. I booked my rhinoplasty with him which cost 30K. I thought this was high but figured he knew what he was doing and seemed to understand my concerns. After I paid for the surgery at my preoperative appointment after waiting for over an hour to see him, we spoke and all of a sudden he claimed he "had" to do work on my tip. (nothing was wrong with my tip) I showed him photos of MYSELF and my nose before the break but he would barely glance at it saying "yes I see it is straight." Again that conversation was only about 10 minutes. (red flag!) Fast forward about 3 weeks later the morning of the surgery I arrived at the surgical center alone as I was not allowed to bring anyone with me. (another red flag) When he first saw me the FIRST thing he said was "Let's do and Instagram Story." I felt so uncomfortable but felt like I had no choice even though I signed a waiver saying I didn't want to be public on social media outlets. After he made the instagram story, I said, "Dr. Kassir- I am just confirming I don't want a different nose I just want it to look like how it used to. I have photos here I can show you of my nose pre break." he replied, "yeah, just going to do a little." and did not bother to look at my photos. I regret everyday not walking out of the surgical center and leaving before he could touch my nose, however after my surgery I woke up with the cookie cutter nose he gives ALL his patients. Look closely at the results of his patients; they are all practically the same. When I went to get my cast off he wasn't even there. As soon as I saw my nose I knew it was wrong. I was left with a tiny upturned over resected nose that veered to the left. Right after a girl came in and asked if I would give permission for my photos to be on their Instagram. I said once again, no. I did not see Dr. Kassir until the 1 month appointment. I was so upset and asked him why he did what he did when we never discussed it. Even the notes in my operative report said things that were NEVER discussed. He completely gaslighted me saying I knew if I got a rhinoplasty it would look this small. That is a lie. I had a large nose of Jewish and Hispanic descent which he completely took away from me. Besides the unwanted look of my result, he left me with MAJOR breathing issues on my right airway. I would NEVER let him touch my face ever again. When I asked the office for my pre and post operative photos they would not release them all. The message I got from his office was QUOTE: "The next time you come in we will airdrop them to you. We're not gonna keep sending them via email." SO unprofessional and unacceptable as it is my right as a patient to have access which I said back. They also denied that Dr. Kassir took an IG story from me. They are all liars. Dr. Kassir only cares about money- he does the easiest route and treats his patients and business like a factory. Don't be fooled by his 1 million followers. You don't wear followers on your face, you wear results and Dr. Kassir does not care about your results. He cares about $$$$. I am currently over a year post op and I never heard from Dr. Kassir about a follow up after my 3 month appointment. He is an unethical business man and 0/10 for his skill and care as a doctor. I wish what I went through upon no one. DO NOT trust this doctor! Fortunately after doing TONS of research I found a different INCREDIBLE facial plastic surgeon who was able to restore my breathing and nose to its origin. I just book a consult appox 1 hr ago, and when I wanted to cancel they are refusing to refunt my deposit! I cancelled my consultation after reading all the google, yelp, realself reviews. I had to delete my original review because I must be completely honest Do I recommend this doctor for a facelift, yes! Rhinoplasty? Yes he's the Elvis Presley of nose jobs But sadly not mine. Mine is now 6 months in- and it's crooked. Shifts to the left a bit My facelift makes me look and appear younger But all of the injections he gave me went away within a month. I even shelled out $900 for lips and when I got home my own husband didn't even realize that I had my lips injected Whatever he is injecting you with it only lasts very shortly. What we discussed was I thought very clear. All I really needed was small browlift and my face would be beautiful, he said he would do that but at the last minute pulled out and didn't give it to me at all, nor did he give me the $9000 fat injections underneath my eyes, that's what I paid for. When I left and looked in the mirror that afternoon from the surgical center I couldn't believe it the next morning I returned to have gods taken out of my nostrils and asked about it and he told me that he only put a little bit of fat on the sides of my temples. He is now injecting Botox underneath peoples eyes on videos on Instagram I see no difference after $35k In fact I hate myself for it all I needed was injections of dysport and restalyne. But from a Doctor Who gave it pure and not watered down Just come for a nose job. Facelift they are great No hanging skin, he gave me lipo under chin and then stretched my neck so my profile actually looks beautiful. But face on to see me in person you will see that my nose is definitely crooked when it wasn't before him. And I look like I need injections I am only six months out from my surgery. Skip the fat transfers! Be very very careful with your research on this Doctor. He only shows the noses he is proud of. You will pay a $150 non refundable consultation fee . Wait around 2 hours. Then, I was told that there was only a very short window of when it could be done. A sales pressure tactic I knew was a bit obvious at the time. I chose to through with the surgery. As I did research I found there were Several women gathering for a class action law suit. I wanted to go to another surgeon. A woman in the office said "sorry no refunds, you may as well just get it" Met with the Doctor as he convinced me these women were bogus. RESEARCH! Google reviews and take them seriously. The office is a mess, the girls run in and out of the office or sit on the phone right in the waiting room speaking to customers. You can literally hear confidential information, scheduling appointments, taking credit card information along with numbers, names, addresses and so on while waiting the 3 hours wait past your schedule appointment time. Dr. Kassir is a charmer for sure, but please seriously dont buy his bullshit. Almost every negative post on here is exactly what i encountered. Another thing i found odd is the fact that Dr. Kassir runs in and out of surgeries that are performed in this TINY little office space to get to a consult. This is my nose one year post surgery (if the pic is not visible, please feel free to message me). No definition, crooked, and unrecognizable. I cannot begin to explain what a horrible experience I had with Dr. Kassir. He was rude, short and didn't give me the time of day throughout any of our interactions. I waited to see him for over an hour on each occasion, for him to barely spare me 5 minutes. All he kept repeating to me was, "you want a doll nose, right?" Which I didn't, but which he proceeded to attempt anyway, albeit poorly. Two days after my surgery, he chastised me in his office for asking to see him (rather than his nurse). So after many years of my daughter saving all her birthday money, while being totally fascinated with his Instagram feed we finally felt that we were ready to discuss a Rhinoplasty. We made an appointment in hopes of getting an idea what surgery cost as well as recommendations as too what she would need to have done. We woke up so excited!!! Today would be the deciding day and we would finally meet Dr. Kassir, well that was a HUGE disappointment! When we got there we had to fill out forms and then waited eagerly to meet with him, We were called In Rather quickly and brought into an office, not a exam room. His surgical coordinator walks into the room to discuss the surgery and cost, not only was the impression of her mediocre, she was very rehearsed as if she had a tape recorder speaking for her!!! she then proceeded to tell my daughter that she is about a level one or two????? and that the price was about 14,500 as she is typing it into a 50 inch screen on the wall, the price not shocking to me as research suggested that is about what it cost...but what followed next was quite shocking!! I said we really wanted to see what his recommendations would be ( chin implanted, etc..) so that I can discuss it with my husband to confirm that we are in Agreement with Dr. Kassir's recommendation and she goes To my daughter turn your head, oh yeah maybe a chin implant!!!!! why would I go by the recommendation of a surgical coordinator and not the actual doctor who I went to see!!! Then she states, once you have the 50 percent deposit you can meet with Dr. Kassir and he will discuss it further!!!! Hello, who books surgery with a surgeon that they have never ever met???? Being a cardiac RN that has dealt with patients for over 10 years, trust me that is not how you treat people!!! Dr. Kassir is truly amazing at what he does. I had rhinoplasty back in February and it was a wonderful experience. Naturally, I was nervous. I didn't know what to expect as far as pain, the healing process, and overall what it was going to look like and if he could truly achieve the look I was going for. Well I was beyond happy with my results! Within a week of having the cast on I had little to no bruising and swelling I was able to do daily things comfortably and I barely had to use any painkillers. Once I got my cast off I could not believe the results. As the months went on the swelling went down even more, he really blew me away with the results. Dr Kassir will walk you through every single step and he truly cares about his patients and you can tell in the work he does. I was charmed by the Instagram profile and celebrity nose jobs but after doing a lot more research, I realized it was simply a façade. I went to their office and was made to wait over an hour and a half for a consultation. The girls who work there are nice but seem to be a bit ditzy and don't seem to have their shit together, which is disconcerting when you're dealing with surgery to your face. I saw the doctor and yes he was charming and nice and he showed me what he could do but he was extremely quick and somewhat dismissive of concerns that I had. He told me he could do lipo under my chin and around my neck with no problem at all and that I didn't need to keep losing weight before I got the procedure, which is contrary to everything that I've read. then I was quoted an insane $28,000 for a nose job lipo under the chin and chin filler, with the chin filler costing $3500 which is ridiculous because everybody knows you pay for the syringe of filler and that's usually about $1000 so I immediately felt like I was being ripped off. On top of that, they just gave me the cost with no paperwork or estimate. I had to ask for an itemized estimate which is absolutely absurd. well, I continued to do more research and saw all of his reviews online and I also started to look more closely at his Instagram which honestly, I'm not that impressed with anymore. All of his noses look exactly the same and he doesn't take into consideration the ethnicity of his patients. he makes the noses too upturned and too small for the faces of his patients. finally, I continued to do research with another doctor whi told me he absolutely would recommend not doing lipo under my chin until I have gotten at least 10 pounds away from my goal weight. he also said that lipo around the neck is dangerous due to several large nerves so he couldn't promise that he could get all of it but that he could absolutely get some of it. Dr. Kassir never even brought up these nerves, which is terrifying. On top of that, the paperwork, pre-care directions, including medical clearance, as well as the follow ups from this other doctor were beyond anything that Dr. Kassir had provided. I didn't feel like I was being conned by a celebrity doctor and I feel much more comfortable with my surgery that is planned for a couple of months away. Oh and it's $10,000 less. Beware of going with the Instafamous choice. this is a serious surgery and you need to make sure you're in the care of someone who takes it just as seriously as you do. read more

This business is a prime candidate for lessons in "Customer Service" and business ethics. I heard about this practice through Groupon and purchased a certificate for a PhotoFacial treatment a few months ago. I tried to book an appointment about a month prior to the expiration of the certificate, but I was told that their first available appointment (throughout all of their 2-3 office locations) was ONE DAY after the date of the cert. expiration. I specifically called this out to the Mona Lisa rep. scheduling my appt. She assured me that it would be fine and that they would honor my certificate since it was not my fault that they did not have openings available on their schedule. Fast forward weeks later and five days prior to my appoint, I received another call from Mona Lisa Office telling me a completely different story. This time I was told five days prior to my appointment that they will not honor my cert. and "Oh by the way, we have no appointment openings available to you for use by the certificate due date. So you will have to forfeit your $129 that you spent with us." I was told they could not accommodate the volume of Groupon certificates/request for appointment and told me to contact Groupon for a refund. Why would a business promote themselves via social commerce only to disappoint the very customers they sought to attract in the first place??? Why should their inability to accommodate the volume of business coming-in be the fault/burden of the actual consumer? This was the first disappointing social commerce experience I've ever had! As far as I'm concerned, this vendor should have never participated in a social commerce promotion if they were unable but moreso unwilling to keep their end of the transaction. read more

This review is long overdue, as my experience with Dr.Kassir and his team took place last April. I drove over an hour into New York City to get a consultation with Dr.Kassir for rhinoplasty. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours to see him. When the receptionist or medical assistant - not entirely sure what her title was, took me into the room to photograph me for the consultation. After that I was brought into his office, only to wait another 45 minutes for him to literally open the door, look at me and say 'no'. He closed the door and never came back in. 5 minutes or so later his receptionist comes in to inform me he had an 'emergency surgery' and had to 'leave'. She then said he would send an email once he reviewed my images, with the price and what the next steps were to book my surgery. I get an email about a week later, from the receptionist, with the price and payment options. That's it. So here I am, willing to spend $15,000 on a nose job with a doctor who wouldn't even see me, let alone educate me on the procedure that I was paying for. Who operates a business like that? Dr. Kassir was amazing. He seems like the president in a way that he books up quickly and a busy man! Overall, I did my research and I did it well. I had a slight ethnic bump on my nose and a deviated septum. He corrected both so naturally and precise. He is an artist!! I am thrilled with the results. I had no discomfort other than the first night when I had packing in my nose. The vitamins he prescribes before hand are vital to recovery/bruising/swelling. This guy overfilled me with Botox (actually some knock off of it) and filler so bad, couldn't make a facial expression AND half of my face drooped to make me look like I had a stroke. That lasted 4 months. I know drooping can happen, but it never happened before, and I fear it was the way he injected or over-injected in the wrong areas. He had also placed filler under my eyes to plump up the troughs. I was afraid of getting filler there and asked him if this would lead to Festoons (big watery bags under the eyes) something I never had but had seen on sites where people were improperly injected. He assured me that would not and could not happen. Well, 6 days later, guess what. I had Festoons. I called, and all he wanted to do was dissolve it. Listen, if he messed me up the first time, I'm not going for seconds. It's been a year and 2 months and I opted for the filler to dissolve naturally, as I was afraid the festoons would get worse if dissolved (something that can also happen). The festoons are still there and now I have to have corrective laser under the eyes to help diminish the crinkly and baggy skin. This was a direct result of his injections. If he ever was a truly good surgeon, that ship has sailed IMO. UPDATE!!! They replied to this review. The time for them to rectify the situation was when I texted the Dr personally ( we were FB friends) over a year ago and he asked if it was from the Botox he injected me with, I said yes, and he never texted me again. That was Christmas Eve 2016. I recently had corrective surgery to repair the damage. It cost me $3,500.00. If he really wanted to make good on it, he could have given me a bit of a refund, esp. after I spent almost 30 grand with him over the years. He messed up this time. I had 5 other plastic surgeon consults and I was told it was a direct result of the skill of the injector, the amount and the placement, esp. with the festoons. You claim he is the best injector. Okay. Where are you getting this data from? I would like to actually SEE the proof of that claim, or is it like "World's Greatest Coffee" printed on a menu? Just because you say you're the best doesn't make it so. And if the data supports it, then maybe I am the odd sheep in this. Listen, he did a lot of good over the years. He did good work on me as well. I benefited from his skill set back in the day, BUT this time, he messed me up. He did the last time I went for injections, too. I told him about it and he assured me it was a "one off." I cannot in good conscience refer another living soul because of it. And this is what Yelp is for. Honest reviews that cannot be "scrubbed clean" with money. Maybe he rushed through the appointment like he had been lately. Regardless, the result was a droopy face, huge festoons and a recent corrective surgery, all a direct result of his "injection prowess." You want to make this right? Give the Botox refund I asked him for at Christmas 2 years ago, as I sat there with my face hanging off like a bag and my eyes so blown out, people thought I was deformed. SCAM ARTIST - go in for fillers the first time, they charge you one price - go in the next time, they mark it up 30% (they don't tell you this - he has his shady little sidekick and snotty, rude office staff to make you "sign" before they do the procedure but conveniently the prices aren't on the signature page.) I have never written a yelp review before, because I never felt it was necessary, but when I had such a bad time at this place, I just could not keep my experience to myself. I went to the emergency room one night because my tonsils were swollen, so at the emergency room they had drained it for me. One of the doctors recommended me to go to Dr. Kassir for my follow up to drain it if it had gotten swollen again. That was the biggest mistake ever. I made my appointment two hours before closing time. On the day of, I went with my dad because I could not speak well. I was surprised to see that there was advertisement for plastic surgery everywhere, because I did not know he was also a plastic surgeon on top of being an ENT (Ear, nose, throat) doctor. That should have been my first warning. They put me in room right on time of my appointment, so I thought it would be a quick trip. Thirty minutes later, no nurses and no doctor came in. One hour into waiting with no show, a manager comes in saying that my insurance was not accepted by Dr. Kassir. Obviously, this was very annoying news, because the front desk should have confirmed that earlier on, NOT ONE HOUR LATER INTO WAITING. He offered to give us a small discount and the whole procedure would be out of pocket. We took the offer since we had already waited an hour. Another hour later, he finally comes in to do a two minute procedure of draining my tonsils. IT TOOK TWO MINUTES. He could've popped in between his "VERY IMPORTANT" plastic surgery patients that were obviously giving him more money. I was the last patient he took on for the day and I was there two hours earlier than any of the patients he took on before me. Very disappointing. Don't know why the ER doctor even recommended this so called Doctor. If you're a doctor you should be trying to heal, not go after money. I went to Dr. Kassir for sinus surgery - not plastic surgery. His bedside manner is awful. I was offered no after care instructions whatsoever. The only "advice" he would give me was to say "you could use my help" speaking about plastic surgery. I'm post surgery over a year now and continually get sinus infections. I went to Dr Kassir to get a nonsurgical nose job. I was skeptical when I first got in to the office After speaking to him I was totally at ease and confident in him. He gaveme about 4-5 shots and that was it. Didn't even hurt. I looked in the mirror and low and behold my nose looked shorter and less wide. I was ecstatic at the result. I had to ask the staff he was a magician? The result lasts at least a year. After that I am scheduling a revision rhinoplasty for a permanent result. I know it will look fantastic! Just wanted to share my experience with Dr Kassir. I had my consultation which was a fee of $525 usd which if I decided to go with him that fee would go towards cost of surgery. I consulted with two other very much decorated surgeons in Beverly Hills & their consultation fees were only $200 & $250. Why Dr Kassir is requesting nearly double than top rated surgeons in Beverly Hills is beyond my understanding. Also the consultation fee was to only be paid by using Apple Pay. If felt more like a drug deal than paying for a possible future surgery. My other consultations I had email invoices from their offices. Much more professional. It felt shady with the high consultation fee & Apple Pay only at Dr Kassirs office. Then I started reading these Yelp reviews & can tell others have experienced similar vibe. The best part is he quoted me a 25k surgery cost for closed Rhinoplasty. And the top of the top in Beverly Hills NO BAD YELP REVIEWS quoted me at 15k for surgery. So Dr Kassir I think I can see through you're greed. That is sad!!! I should have read these reviews before doing the consultation. But better late than never. Anyone considering this Doctor. Always do 2-3 consultations with different doctors before deciding on which doctor is best for you. Dr Kassir you aren't even comparable with your greed. I called yesterday morning at 10:20am PST for information of pricing for rhinoplasty and a lip lift. After following this doctor's Instagram for many months I finally decided I wanted to get a consultation with him; willing to travel out of state and spend thousands of dollars.......... WRONG! The disrespectful, ignorant, full of herself lady who answers the phone by the name of "Jackie", was the WORST first impression. She first answered the phone with such disgrace and misery. I kindly asked for pricing on two procedures and she answered in less than a nano second, obviously in a hurry and bothered that I called. UNPLEASANT- which is the opposite of what the staff of a doctors office should be. I then said "ok- I will call back a little later when you are less busy". She quickly responds "OK!"- CLICK. then hung up on my face! I was in COMPLETE disbelief by this persons nasty, unprofessional behavior, the first point of contact of this plastic surgeon's office!! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! I called again and she pretended to be somebody else and pretended she didn't just speak to me lol and had the same nasty attitude and obviously the same voice. She then told me the calls are routed to 3 different offices end it's always someone different who answers. Please I told her how much of a liar she is. Got my surgery done here and I have to say Horrible customer service, the desk lady is always In a hurry , never explains anything , what bother me a lot is the miss communication between them , always asking you for stuff you already done , that added more stress to me , another big problem is dr kassir , he doesn't pay attention to what you say or what you want , iv seen him on my pre op and explained what I wanted with details , and the day of surgery 30 mn before he came to see me and said ok what are we doing here ? Left me in shock and fear , he didn't know what he came to do !! I was like a rhinoplasty sir , he said and what do you want as a result and I had to explain again !! Surgery went good and all but after I removed the cast I was totally dissatisfied and disappointed, iv put a lot of faith in him , payed almost 18 k and nothing changed , the profil side is good but facing front no change so sad , knowing that I didn't have a problem with my profite look what bother me is that my nose was thick and large and that exactly didn't change ! My nose was large crooked and with a bump with breathing issues. He somehow managed to fix all of those things without anyone in my extended family noticing. I am forever grateful for it. With a short down time and no one noticing, I would do it again. I love how natural my nose is. i feel like I get many genuine compliments I get about how pretty I look and not a peep about my nose.
