I separate people into two different categories... people who dig Aldis and people who've never…read morebeen there. Truth be told, I spend a lot of time at Wegmans & Tops. With the mothership Wegmans within a short drive, who wouldn't? However, I do save a lot of $$ when I include Aldis in my rounds. They've got a great selection of staple goods and periodic deals on other fine food items. I find it funny that friends who NEVER go here have gone GA-GA over the Pittsford Trader Joes. What they don't understand is Trader Joes shares a common corporate parent with Aldis. The stores share a similar approach to merchandising and quality of goods. The difference is the targeted market. Aldis skews its products more towards the price sensitive customer & carries fewer luxury items. That's it. I've already found some analogous products between the stores. The Aldis store in Penfield is the one I frequent the most. Very clean & well stocked. Very friendly & helpful staff. If you haven't shopped Aldis, give it a whirl.

Cashiers are either not trained well or are not competent. Management is terrible and seem to be lazy and abusive to the lower level employees. The layout of the store was great! I did purchase some Broccoli Cheddar soup for lunch along with my groceries and the price for a large soup was pretty decent and the soup delicious! They have self check out and well as regular check out and they wasn't a line for either! I also noticed a lot of staff stocking and arranging shelves. All greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed assistance.

What an awesome grocery store but it's so much more than that! They literally have everything! The meat department is incredible, they even offer high end Wagu! I especially love the cheese section. Shout out to Amy! She was wonderful. We bought so much cheese there! This place kind of reminds me of Whole Foods & Sprouts, meets Bristol Farms and Erewhon on steroids! Offering a pharmacy, a gift section and a health and beauty section as well! I don't even think I'm coming close to describing it! This store is just awesome!
