This is what $35 dollars gets u from catering. Where is quality control. Don't think Danny's holiday mini croissants look like this. At least 4 employees looked at this before the customer. To be fair they did give a refund upon return trip

THIS SUPERMARKET IS HUGE ... AND ORGANIZED ... AND CLEAN ... AND SPACIOUS! If there ever was a perfect supermarket, Wegmans surrrrrrre comes close to it. I've only been to a few different Wegmans locations in my life, but this was one of the best supermarkets I've ever been to. Besides the fact that most of the items (food and household goods) here are reasonably priced compared to other supermarkets, there is 108,000 sq ft of well-organized grocery shopping fun. For those looking to be the life of the party, there is a massive wine, liquor and beer store connected to the market. In addition, there is a very, very spacious market cafe where you can order made to order burgers, sub sandwiches or pick up soup and buffet-style foods and enjoy a lunch or dinner in their ridiculously huge and comfortable seating area. And if you thought the supermarket was huge, the parking lot goes as far as the eye can see. Honestly, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a bigger parking lot for a supermarket, but I can totally see it getting crowded here ... and very understandably so!

This is a giant Wegmans with a lot of really good fresh fruit and produce. They have a great organic meat section although they don't have family packs for the organic meat which is a little surprising given some of the other locations do. I like the fact that they had some tasting stations here too, you could get a selection of their cheese and fruit to try so that you could actually see what things were like. That definitely helps drive sales I think. Service were friendly and quick, and the full place feels like a giant warehouse or barn which is their style.

Wegmans is a big step up in grocery stores. They have many items that are prepared and ready to cook.... Or even cooked, ready to heat up. The food looks very fresh but the prices are higher then most. An simple example is my fresh jalapeño's which run right around $1.99 elsewhere are more than double that here. One spot was $3.99 then down at the other end it was $4.15lb. That's insane. The rest of the prices are about 10% higher. But with that the selections such as for cheese is vast! I always buy a few wedges here to sample. Today was my first venture into their sushi, which is made fresh every day. I enjoy shopping here as the staff is polite and they are everywhere. The store is clean and the shelves are usually stocked well.

Wegmans is the Disney World of supermarkets. Not only is the entire location clean, but it's well stocked, has a helpful staff, and has every item imaginable. Yes, even liquor. Take a gander at the pics of the avocados. This is the only supermarket where I see them this size. Every turn was filled with nicely staged views, pleasant surprises, and it was an absolute pleasure shopping here. If you're in the area, please walk through Wegmans. You will fill up your cart with lots of goodies where you will enjoy fresh produce and products.

I heard great things about Wegman's so I decided to stop by yesterday. They're very similar to Whole Foods, sell various organic items.

They carry dairy products from a farm across the street, local grains, cheeses, and bulk maple syrup from farms upstate. Beautiful bulk and produce sections. Hidden juice/smoothie bar in the back! I have watched this Co-op evolve over many years. They had some growing pains in the past (seems like any of the negative reviews are over 10 years old), but they must have taken feedback seriously, and consistently re-blossomed. They are now, again, my favorite place to find healthy food and a wonderful sense of community. Whole Foods is handy, but not cheap, and cannot compete with the amount of in-season local food available here. I love that we can have this option to support local farms, and keep our money in our regional community.

And it was a bag of unpackaged potatoes and a little empty basket on their produce shelf for him to go unpack. He was delighted and went over to do his big boy job. So cute! Prices are reasonable and I love that you can get a lot of things in bulk. When going for your first time be prepared to spend a while as this place is huge. Also, a little sidenote, it's located in a strip mall which has a lot of traffic. In addition to fresh produce and shelf goods, there are also seafood, meat, and deli departments, as well as baked goods. The Latin American section is the most extensive (catering to the local clientele), followed by Caribbean - I'd come here for specialty items for those cuisines. There is also a small Polish section (but no other Eastern European stuff). Some Indian. However the Asian section is dismally sad, and has only tepid mainstream brands like Roland, Geisha, and Kikkoman (OK Kikkoman soy sauce is the best tho!). Not even good sesame oil or noodles. But for authentic Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or SE Asian products, I would just go to one of several excellent dedicated Asian food markets in NJ. There are also few gourmet/epicurean global culinary products, but then again this isn't that kind of store, and is much more down home. The store feels a bit dingy and the aisles can be cramped, but I do like browsing and coming across interesting or less familiar items I can incorporate into my cooking, try new delicacies, or finding specific ingredients or spices called for in certain dishes I'm making. Prices are reasonable and not subject to the typical "imported/special ethnic foods" upcharge at a Wegmans or whatever for certain products that are very basic and cheap in its country of origin.

Worst experience I've ever had!…read more I placed an online order for Friday morning delivery to Montebello. Although the billing address on my credit card is in Brooklyn, the delivery address was clearly listed as Montebello. The order never arrived. I tried calling the store, but no one answered. I called multiple extensions, left messages for both the delivery department and the online order department, and never received a return call. Since I couldn't get any information, I sent my son to the store. That's when we learned that the order had been canceled without any notification because of the Brooklyn billing address, despite the delivery address being Montebello. My son had to pick up the order himself. To make matters worse, I was still charged a shopper tip and a delivery tip--even though there was no shopper or delivery. My son did the pickup. I returned to the store on Sunday to request refunds for those charges. I was told the credits would be processed, but I still haven't received them. There was also no manager available who had the authority to resolve the issue. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication, the unexplained cancellation, the inability to reach anyone by phone, and being charged for services that were never provided are completely unacceptable. I also left a message with customer service, but based on my experience so far, I'm not optimistic that anyone will return my call.
