Fish... oh my the seafood- if I weren't allergic to shellfish. The fresh seafood is one of the best I've seen in the area. It is probably one of the freshest in the area. I love their salmon steaks. Produce is fresh, although I recommend to check them if it's bagged (like apples) and I like that they declare where it's from. I get disappointed at other grocery stores to see that all of the produce isn't local or even from the USA (try looking for an Idaho potato at a few places- yes, there's a difference). These were some of the same items I've purchased in the past. Worst of all, this is not the first time this has happened at this particular Trader Joe's as it has happened a number of times in the past. When I went to the customer service desk to see if they had any in the back, they didn't and then when they checked their system one of the items wasn't even ordered and the other one they had no idea of when more was coming in. I then asked if they could check the inventory at the Westwood, NJ Trader Joe's to see if they have the items in stock and they said they had no way of doing it but I could call them. That way, I could waste more time! NOT GOOD AT ALL! They said, I should probably call the store next time. I said, I shouldn't have to waste time CALLING FOR EVERY SINGLE ITEM I'm interested in buying to see if you have it in stock! That's RIDICULOUS! In the end, ALL I GOT WAS A VERY LAME "SORRY." THAT'S IT! INCREDIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The least they could have done was offer me some kind of small store credit. So, then I had to waste another 45 minutes driving home! NOT GOOD!
