Not to mention they carry tea, flowers and lots of other items that i have not seen in the regular supermarket that I can buy it and try it and see if I like it. What I don't like is that sometimes it's just not the freshest of produce. But, with that being said they do package the not so fresh and reduce the price. They also cut up produce and sell it .... pineapples, melons, etc.

Though Price Choppers is the new kid on the block for our area, since their opening, I avoid shopping at any of the other local supermarkets. Their selection for meats and produce are superb, the store is clean and well stocked, and the staff are friendly and accomdating. Aside from utilizing the savings card for the wonderful sales, it has proven it's work at the pump too! What a wonderful concept to team up with local fuel station to help not only save the fuel you need for your body, but also for your car too. The other fantastic quality that some may not know is that Price Choppers is a green business and does it's part for the environment. Check out the info tele-prompt near the entrance and see for yourself.

Another downside of rockland kosher is they mostly carry only haimish brands, so you miss out on a lot of options by shopping here if you do eat anything other than glick's. All in all? I found Haitian mangos. I can never find them anywhere, so I was very, very happy. They were perfectly ripe and absolutely delicious. They've also got some great deals going on pretty often. And if you're hungry while shopping, they have a hot food buffet. I didn't try anything this time or take any pics, but it smelled amazing. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the packaged meat section. I was really hoping to grab some uncooked chicken wing platters, but they didn't have any. I didn't want to go to the butcher and pay per pound, so I'm hoping they add more options soon. Also, shoutout to Michael at the butcher counter. He's always so helpful and kind. Great customer service goes a long way!! My family loves shopping here now. It's become one of our new stops during our grocery shopping day, especially mine knowing that they have my favorite mangos! PS: Yelp says they are open 24/7, I am going to have to double check that and update my review on whether that's true or not. Edit: They are, in fact, open 24/7!
