What was I thinking?! I ended up ordering a plain cold brew and mixed most of it to the drink to tame the sweetness. Other than this, it was a nice drink. Fried Pickle-Brined Chicken & Waffle - Breaded boneless chicken (halal), pecan waffle, cherry pepper honey, sausage gravy and syrup. Chicken was nice and tender. Chicken & Waffle is all about that combo taste of sweet and savory! Good dish! I ordered the fish and chips - now I know that the Silver Diner is not a seafood restaurant, but the reality in my opinion is that fish and chips is an easy dish to make. I have enjoyed fish and chips at more restaurants than I can count, including some of the world's finest seafood on a recent trip to Iceland. My fish at the Silver Diner had the thickest and most dense breading that I have ever had! It was terrible to me. There was nothing about the breading that was light - it was way too thick, too glutinous, and the fish was substantially overcooked to the point of being dry. The fish and chips were served with a cup of chicken soup which was mediocre at best - under seasoned. We did start dinner with an appetizer of fried shrimp seasoned with a bit of Old Bay. It actually tasted very good but again the shrimp were very sadly overcooked which made them tough and chewy. So the food is definitely not for me, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a discerning taste. I also consider the food here very expensive relative to some other nearby restaurants that provide some truly great food at a much better price point.

We will definitely be inviting Chef Jesus back for future events! It was great to hear how his family started this business, perfected the recipe, and how proud he was to share it with us. I think he had everything in there from seafood, chicken and sausage to veggies and of course rice. It was a great balance and I don't know what's in the broth, but it all came together beautifully. We all completely enjoyed the food and experience and what fun to have everything prepared right in front of us on our deck! Jesus cleaned everything up like he was never even there. I bought one flavorless and was consistent with taking it orally and a week later I began applying it topically on my face. As for energy levels, more focus, overall better moods, etc.., it made a very subtle difference. My sister who was also taking it with me said that she felt a difference in her energy levels and felt "happier" / in a better mood. I think it just depends on each person. The taste was not bad at first but after a few times of taking it morning and evening (twice a day) I was not liking the taste. When it goes in the texture is gel / pudding like with no flavor but after you swallow it tastes like something that shouldn't be edible. I don't have the right words to describe the taste because it is 100% edible, just does not taste like it should be. There are also many different products at the store.
