Tried to go to the Mahwah location two months ago and lines there were around two corners. So glad this is in the neighborhood. As one lady said as she entered it is an experience. The best thing is the curbside pickup which helps during times like this. Beer selection is very good and place is so huge it doesnt feel like it is as packed as the parking lot makes it seem. Good wings and solid sushi. Not sure what other person is saying about a pool and spa and grotesque. This place is a above the other area groceries like stop and shop, whole foods and ShopRite. Try it after the initial nostalgia goes away and you will be surprised like I was. Keep up the quality Wegmans and you will have serious business when the condos and retailers open up on the hill. read more

Part Whole Foods, part Stew Leonard's, part ready to cook at home entree's, part high end food court, and part regular grocery store all under one roof. Big selection of organic and conventional fruits and veggies, grass feed meets, and regular grocery items. When I go to Whole Foods I always have to go to at least one more grocery store. Place is so big and super busy, so it takes awhile to get oriented on your first visit. I'll be back next week. read more

Wegman's floral advertises on THe Knot wedding site for flowers. Beware!!!! They led me to believe they could help me up until a week and 1/2 before my event then canceled saying they "are not a florist, we can't do what you want"... (which was hydrangeas and some farmers roses)...then why did you go back and forth with me for 6 weeks leading me to believe you could and then leave me scrambling at the last minute??? Luckily Anna at Shoprite in Thornwood blew them out of the water with her beautiful arrangements! I mean she was on point, easy to work with, took on the last minute challenge like a champ!!! Love Wegmans! My parents live in Greenwich. The local grocery store Stop n Shop closed in Glenville. What a blessing! Beautiful brand new store! The customer service was great and the store was well stocked (aside from the cleaning products but I guess that's the covid world we live in). I was particularly impressed by Cara in the meat section who was really well versed in this department and was able to answer a lot of questions as well as show us where everything was. I've shopped often in wegmans in Harrison & I've been very frustrated by the fact that they do NOT put their "sell or buy by" dates anywhere you can see them on many items without a flashlight!I bought fresh packaged chicken on November 29 thinking I had at least a couple of days to freeze it or use it. It was IMPOSSIBLE to find the use by date without a flashlight & even then was very difficult. I was ready to use the chicken on Dec 3 & after thoroughly searching the package find that the use by date is December 1st! This happens all the time because of their terrible labeling of sell/use by dates. Is this done purposely in order to sell more? Terrible practice! read more

I am a new fan. I've been meaning to check out the store since it opened a few years ago and finally checked it out last weekend and I had to return the other day for more of the chocolate chip cookies! They have quite a few great tasting store brand products including the Thai Peanut Sauce (somewhat similar to the one formerly sold at Trader Joes), salsa and seltzer water. I have already checked out the Harrison Wegmans and love everything about it except the specific location. I like supermarkets in neighborhoods, not off of highways. This location is off the hutch and very convenient for fairfield county , Connecticut residents. Regardless of my preference for supermarket locations, I will shop here any day when i am in the area. Since June, i have been caretaking for an apartment in Mid Hudson for pandemic reasons. I have already been to this Wegmans twice. The produce is fresh, can find kosher food, family packs are great prices for bulk and they are taking proper precautions sanitary wise for Covid. read more

I started going during the height of the pandemic as my "road trip". It's a long ride so I don't go as often as I would like, but it's a perfect grocery store with a great mix of organic, healthy non-organic, ready made, bakery, seafood, meat, dairy, and pantry. I have been to this store several times and was impressed with the size and variety of the stock. I am less than impressed with the quality, especially for the prices charged. I bought some pre cut fruit, such as watermelon and cantaloupe. When I got it home it was soft and not edible. The breads I purchased have all been somewhat stale, which was disappointing. I bought three Dry aged New York strip steaks this week at almost $31 dollars per pound. I truly expected a truly great meal from these steaks. I grilled them a perfect medium rare and they were horrible. They were extremely tough, grisly, and very fatty, almost to the point of being inedible. I would say they were probably the worst steaks I have ever bought. Overall, the quality here is not good. read more

Gorgeous store, but customer service was lacking. I fell in love with Wegmans when I went to college Upstate. The store did not disappoint. The layout is wonderful and the ease of shopping was fantastic. What was missing though is what makes Wegmans Wegmans. There was no employee warmth or welcome from the multiple interactions I had with staff. The deli clerk even laughed at me with his coworker when I asked for honey turkey and was told they were out. I love Wegmans and will be back for sure. I just hope the experience next time will be up to the Wegmans standard. read more

I was shocked to see, during the era of social distancing, how crowded and disorganized the management of Wegmans allows this store to become. They are counting people as they enter/ exit, but whatever their "limit" is, it's much too high. Also, there was no attempt at organizing the traffic flow through one-way aisles, etc. read more

I have been going here since it opened up. Huge grocery store with a giant selection. It never feels crowded even when busy with how big the store is. Their food court has a lot of selections but the things I have tried haven't been very good. The store is kept very clean and the workers are friendly and helpful. The shoppers though can be extremely rude and you won't find cheerful or pleasant service at the butcher, seafood, and deli counters. Amazing store with many "ready to cook" and fresh hot food options. Delicious looking bakery items, fresh food items, seafood, etc. But ... many items priced to the point of the ridiculous. Two small chocolate chip cookies $3, one individual small piece of cake $5, one ready to cook crabcake $10, Wild King Salmon $37/lb, 16oz of OJ $5. Compare to Whole Foods or other gourmet markets at much less. I don't know what they are thinking. It's a great place, but not worth this kind of premium on the prices. They need to reassess this before I become a regular. read more

We love this place . Best supermarket experience in Westchester and we do have Stew Leonard's , Whole Foods, Deciccos , H Mart and Trader Joe's . This place is so big it's almost overwhelming . They have an insane selection of cheese and beer as well . Dry aged meat , salmon cuts in regular or extra large full scale or mini bites . Some amazing gourmet stuff . A small food court with Chinese , premade Sushi, Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, and Burgers . It's a bit expensive to go here every week but to get a break from the basic shopping at a place like Stop N Shop this place is a great alternative . read more

This place is clean but there products are not worth going for. The cold cuts were awful very plastic tasting, don't ask for fresh clean shrimp because for the amount of money you'll spend it's actually frozen shrimp that the clerk thaws out for you. We bought Italian sausage and after it was cooked we discovered that it was extremely salty. All the meats are vacuumed sealed in a bag something I would not try. I'm familiar with Wegmans from regular visits to family in Buffalo. I live in the city and am accustomed to higher prices at places like Citerella, Whole Foods etc. My Take - obscenely expensive-makes Whole Foods prices look like Walmart - prepared foods. - not anything special (although I hear the fresh cut prime rib sandwiches should be tried) - Sushi was Good. But approximately 20% higher than Whole Foods and not as good - Bakery - ordinary and EXTREMELY overpriced. I had a tiramisu cake (small loaf shape) It was slightly SMALLER than my IPhone , about twice as thick ( my phone has a hefty case) , cost $16.00 and tasted no better than I've had at Publix in Fla. (probably for about $4.00) - I had their crab cakes- VERY GOOD, and at $25.00 for 4 - I considered it a fair price for the quality - I think the size of the store can be a bit overwhelming I generally don't think about prices at a grocery store. And never considered Whole Foods out of line But when I feel like I'm being hosed like I feel at Wegmans it's a different story. If I'm I. I may be jealous that Wegmans refuses to set up shop in CT, but we have a few comparables (Stew Leonard's, Fresh Market, Fairway). I'm not going to say anything bad about their food, since it's always on point, but I AM going to say that the inside is total shopper chaos. No one abided by any kind of keep your distance rule, there were screaming kids running buck wild up and down the aisles, touching e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g while their tennis-skirted trophy wife moms pretended they were going to eat bread when they got home. Everyone had masks on, so there were no Karens Karening about their rights, which was a plus. Glad I went, not sure it's worth the hour drive and if I do go back, it's absolutely not going to be on a Saturday. read more

First and last visit to Wegman's. Went in for a few items including carrots and celery. In the produce section there were 4 different areas for carrots ... bagged whole, loose whole, bagged cut plus organic bagged cut, and crinkled cut and sliced, none of which was near the other. The celery was in 3 separate areas. It was very time consuming finding the product when you want to limit the amount of time spent in a public space during COVID-19! read more

wegman's puts all other grocery store experiences to shame, truly. it's the best - great baked goods, premade foods, natural section. they have things that aren't stocked anywhere else locally. best part - if you can't find something, any employee you ask will know the location down to the exact aisle number. the pharmacy is a really pleasant experience if you need a shot etc. it's a little far from me but worth the drive to get everything i need. read more
