We love H Mart! All of them!!! Selection & Quality: Unbeatable quality across the board. The ramen selection alone is worth a visit, and they have every shelf-stable Asian food item, noodle, or hard-to-find sauce you could ever need (including Japanese mayo). Meat & Seafood: Incredible matching cuts of meat and super fresh seafood. If you want to make fresh sushi at home, they have great sushi-grade cuts--we got salmon, king crab legs, and raw tuna for sashimi! Very clean and spacious store featuring a nice food court if you get hungry while shopping, plus a fresh bakery section for sweet treats. The staff is super friendly, kind, and helpful. So much respect to everyone working there. Truly no other Asian market like it. Highly recommended.

I've been to this market several times and I remember they started out nicely...or nice enough. But…read moreI've been back there recently and the store has changed and not for the better! You can say the fruit and vegetables (what they have) look okay or fresh enough...but unfortunately when you get home and are ready to eat and prepare the produce, it's on the old side and not fresh at all. I've had to throw away certain produce because they weren't in good shape. The apples seem to look okay...but when ya get home and you bite into them, they're brown and mushy. Just a waste of money. I/We have purchased dairy products in the past such as eggs, milk and yogurt and have had to return the items because they were either old and/or spoiled. Perhaps they have a refrigeration problem or the thermostat is kept way too low?? Just no good. We've noticed that many items on the shelves are on the older side and are outdated. Ketchup, mustard, honey and cookies to name a few. The store did not seem to be very clean the last time I stopped in. The floors were sticky and the merchandise on the shelves were very dusty. I came in to return a gallon of milk which was spoiled and the cashier was very nasty and rude to me because I did not have a receipt...meanwhile she was the one who rang me up the day before. She gave me my money back...but gave me a very hard time for no reason. This is no way to treat customers and to run a business. No way!! Normally a person could just let this go...but this is not the first time. It's happened several times. The little one (cashier) in particular has a rotten attitude. I/We won't be going back to this store anymore. There are better markets and stores one can go to without these types of problems. Not worth it. Sorry......

I had a warm, nostalgic place in my heart for the old McLean deli that had been here since my…read morechildhood, but truth be told, it had gotten dingy and poorly stocked over the years, so what a delight to find this fresh, bright, diverse new market in its stead. Produce is plentiful and very fresh. They are well stocked with necessities--milk, bread, eggs, snacks--as well as less-common small market fare such as quinoa and herbal teas. They have a coffee station and a deli counter with cold cuts or where you can grab breakfast or a sandwich to go. In short, all of your standards and more, with a slight emphasis on Eastern Europe/Mediterranean fare--different for this neighborhood that tends to skew Irish, but not unwelcome. More than just a supplemental place to pick up a few things, you could almost use this as a primary supermarket. What a welcome addition to this neighborhood.

Guys here also carry a variety of veggies and have several aisles of fully stocked shelves. One side of their large glass counter has the deli meat+ cheeses, followed by pre-packaged mixed greens, Salad toppings and prepared meals- which they can heat up. On days I don't bring lunch to work, I get an eggplant sandwich with lettuce/tomatoes or go for the eggplant on mixed greens with other veggies- that are both winners for me. The Spanish-speaking guys working on the kitchen side are always helpful and know my picky ways and the owners are friendly. Budget-friendly is not. But know this- S&W comes handy on this end in E. Viva Ranch Fruit Market. How affordable are they? Very affordable…read more My local grocers and fruit stands produce can range anywhere from $1.99/lb - $4.99/lb. And the lower price range can only be found on the occasional sale day. Whereas, Viva's prices are on regular rotation ranging from .79c/lb -$1.99/lb. How are they able to maintain these lower prices? Supply and demand? Better wholesale distributor? Location? They're located in Westchester and less than half a mile or so from Shop Rite and Stop Shop, and the quality to me seems on par with the larger chains. Hey, but what do I know? One thing I do know, these affordable prices are being trickled down to the consumer for a change and that's more than appreciated. Viva Ranch carries all your favorite veggies and fruits, even stuff you didn't even think you needed. Plus, there's also a friendly butchers corner towards the back of the store. Showing my patronage whenever I can helps Viva turn their products over and on the other hand saves me a few dollars. And who doesn't value saving a few $'s? Tip: Easy metered street parking available using the ParkMobile app.

The quality of their products are amazing too and the staff is super friendly. The store itself can get a bit crowded & parking is not the best but I don't mind since the prices are so great. They have another location which is much larger and has a lot more to offer but if you're looking for just produce and some meat, this spot is perfect!
