I just arrived in the area. Went to Wegmans today and I was very impressed. beautiful store! Nice food displayed.

Wegmans has always made me feel like I am shopping in the Neiman Marcus of grocery stores! Love all of the Lehigh Valley Wegmans. However I had errands to run in Easton, and the Easton location is has always been a lovely grocery shopping experience! They have my favorite French cooking ingredients for my classic Boursin mashed potatoes recipe, which my all time favorite butter is exclusively sold in Wegman's. Could not visit the store and not stop by the hot bar to have a few of the garlic, Parmesan wings, and pizza. The sandwich shop makes incredible hero sandwiches. The food is incredibly delicious, the service is great. The atmosphere was quiet, just how I like it. Personally have many more favorites that only Wegman's sell that no other grocery store sells. When visiting PA., always have to stop at Wegman's. Be sure to check them out! read more

There is something about Wegmans bakery, you walk in, and can just smells the deliciousness of bakery items being made. So since I was in the area, I decided to stop by to pick up a fruit kind of cake to bring to a meeting that I was going to tonight. I also picked up a couple of things. They had all there registers opened, so the lines moved pretty fast. I was wondering why the cashier asked if I wanted a bag, I was like yes please. How was I going to walk out with my groceries. Well I found out why, they charge $0.05 a brown bag now. I was so surprised. I didn't see any signs. Now I know for next time to bring my own bags. read more

For years, we have purchased Wegmans turkey thighs which were vacuumed packed, as a quick meal that our family loved when dinner needed to be quick. However, over the last four months, my family has been purchasing Wegman's turkey thighs packaged two to a tray since Wegemans no longer offers vacuum packaging. We have decided that the thighs packaged two to the tray have an off-flavor that we previously never experienced with the vacuumed package tights. Unfortunately because of this off-flavor, we have decided to stop buying turkey thighs altogether. I just wonder why Wegmans changed from their original vacuum packaging to the trays. read more

22 dollars for a pizza that was worse than frozen pizza. How do you mess up pizza this badly? How could someone taste this and put it on a menu? A Walmart great value frozen pizza tastes better. Your produce department is terrible. We bought sweet potatoes in a bag which we spoiled . Lemons that we dried up and old, potatoes in a bag which also had. Rotten one. Strawberry that we hard as a rock, added sweetener so we could eat them . All the produce was bad to poor. This is not the first time either. I am sure you know this. I love love love this Wegman's from the entrance so awesomely designed, the well-made carts and cart ports in the parking lot, the hard-working employees, and the layout of the store. I remember when it opened, and it continues to have an AMAZING produce and fresh food/meal section! My home store is in Bridgewater NJ and being in the area coming back this detour saved a trip at home. It was great to see the same general layout in PA making everything a familiar step away. Wegmans has always been a step ahead of the more national chains in the area. Whole Foods is one exception, but they are more of a niche store compared to the Wegmans experience. It is not going to be the cheapest experience, but it is well worth the visit with great quality across the board. read more

MARIA in the bakery ROCKS! This review refers to the Lower Nazareth/ Easton, Pa store. I was looking for the DELI counter where they serve the specials salads, ready to East, the free standing hot food buffet all of which is GONE! Ever since Covid, many changes are evident on that side of the store. I asked the clerk where I could find my Kale Quinoa Cakes? She shared they have supply problems from purveyor! Anyhow, it was the Lancaster Baked Pumpkin Ale that I purchased and a few other items that I can't source elsewhere. But the highlight of this visit was MARIA in the bakery department who assisted me with a smaller pack of Cannoli Chips. And she helped me with that smile. MARIA, YOU ROCK! Easy 5 stars for this Wegman's. The only downside is that this store is not in my neighborhood, as I am visiting from out of state. Fresh produce, fresh bread, fresh sushi, fresh seafood, fresh meat... you get the picture. The store is large so put on your walking shoes because you'll want to traverse every aisle and corner. A coffee bar, hot food bar and salad bar are at the front, and just a few steps away is a seating area. You'll walk by the wine and craft beer sections to get there. You'll find your normal grocery items and a generous selection of packaged organic foods and ingredients. For the kids, or your sweet tooth, bins of assorted loose candies join the many varieties of bagged candy. Employees are helpful and friendly. The store is kept clean and overall, if you want variety and quality, this is the place. read more

The crapiest WEGMANS by far on every level and I' shop at several of them in many states. My biggest gripe or point of contention with this store is the sssssslllllllllooooooowwwww as molasses response to the COVID19 situation!! Took them forever to put up plexiglass in this particular store and I rarely if ever saw any employees with full PPE . To make matters worse their antique self checkout machines require you getting assistance from someone who is only 2-4 feet away with absolutely NO protective gear as far back as a week ago so like 4/9/2020. Ok so they now have curbside pickup but still have not updated the self checkout machines!! Still have employees too close to to wipe down the machines or assist with the clunky antiques :))) read more

Buffet-- Specifically the Asian section. I've read through the prior reviews about the buffet and the Asian food. Obviously no one from Wegmans is reading anything here because it is a disgrace. I was there on Tuesday and Wednesday night and the food was totally dried out. I bought from the prepackaged area, which was sparse on Tuesday, but filled on Wednesday, and it was good. Sad to say but there were three employees in the wine section and no one tending to the buffet on either night. I'm starting to question their holding temperatures and I would think a surprise inspection is in order. read more

There is no grocery store near us that tops Wegmans. They are well appointed with a number of amazing finds and have reasonable costs in Gluten Free items as well as Organic Foods. The staff is on top of their clientele as well as the opportunity to meet their customers needs where they are. They were a little short on gluten free items today but they was my bad! I love Wegmans, they are a great grocery store. My issue is with the shopping, delivery service they use. Instacart is the worst. I have watched the "personal shoppers" with Instacart shirts on, pick produce items into their bare arms. More than once I have seen them shop haphazardly, with out gloves or hair or beard nets fresh items with no cart or basket. I have always heard great things about Wegmans and this was my 1st visit to 1. It was close to my hotel so I actually went there several times during my trip. We tried prepared items like sandwiches and sushi which were all really good. We also had their catering which was convenient and very tasty. My son loved the cookie area and we really enjoyed their chocolate chip cookies. They have a pharmacy which came in handy because I was sick and needed medicine. The staff there are very nice and you were able to get in-and-out pretty quickly. read more

It was at or above 87 degrees today. A very large dog was locked in a pickup truck with one window opened approximately 4 inches, and the other approximately 6-7 inches. A customer reported this to customer service and gave the license plate number and asked if they could make an announcement. She was told they would not because the person is a 'customer'. She informed me of this information and I called the police. After nearly 25 minutes, the police did not show up, the owner and his wife finally came out and took off. I went into the store to speak with the manager who was not available. I spoke with the Assn't manager. She told me that their policy is to page the customer and for the manager to speak with them regarding incidents like these. She assured me she would speak with her staff again about the protocol. read more

I've always liked this place. Fresh fruits and vegies sets it apart from some of the other grocery stores. Although some things are more expensive than other grocery chains. They have a huge hot and cold food bar for lunch or dinner. During the day there are people making sushi to order. The sushi is always fresh and really good. There is also an International section that sets it apart from other grocery stores. You will be able to purchase harder to find ingredients from Wegmans. Store is always clean and plenty of check outs. read more

Can't say good enough things about this place. The organic food selection, the seafood department, deli, and more,more more... I can't say that it has everything I need but it is close. The prices are very competitive with other local supermarket chains like Giant or Shoprite but selection is much more to my liking plus the large and diverse ethnic food department is a big plus. I loved this grocery shop! Fruit and veggie selection is great, and I have to say is more affordable than a lot of other stores accros the street. It does look like a Fresh Market, a little bit less fancy probably, but you can find anything you could think of, even beer which in PA is pretty hard to buy at regular grocery shops, and with a wide variety. The prepared food looks very fresh, specially the sushi, which I would give it a try at some point. It will easily become my place to grocery shop in Easton. I do my grocery shopping here all the time! I used to shop at Giant's more because I thought they were cheaper, but lately the prices have been competitive, and most of the stuff I buy are the same price at both places now, except meat.. Wegmans always seems to have some nice cut of meat on sale every week, much cheaper than Giant. I really like that Wegman's vacuum seals their meats, this does away with environmental unfriendly styrofoam and keeps the meat much longer. The packaging is also leakproof, freezable, and defrostable. They also have a wonderful selection of organic and natural products. I would give them a 5 star rating if the prices dropped a little more, had fresher produce, kept their hot foods bar fresher (they have some delicious stuff in their take out bars, but half the time I want to get hot foods, they look old), and if they carried more ethnic products (I'm asian american and am hard pressed to find the veggies and spices that I want in this area). They do have some ethnic things, but they are grossly overpriced and not the brands I would purchase. (I hate to do this to Wegmans, but looking out for my fellow asian food shoppers, if you're looking for asian stuff, it's WAY CHEAPER across the street at the tiny little Indian Bazaar, the same indian products and more). read more

Wegman's is one of the best stores to come along in a long time and holds a special place in my heart because it is where I got my first job as a cashier. The sheer size and selection of Wegman's is a feat in itself, but the fact that they have a beer mart, Chinese buffet, sub shop and pizza parlor inside of it, leaves me breathless. Wegmans is usually rated the best Supermarket chain in the U.S. Everything is top notch, from the selection of foods, to the fabulous employees. I went there last Sunday to pick up one of their amazing chocolate cakes to bring to my relatives on long Island. {No Wegmans on Long Island} Got there and saw that all the large cakes were sold out! I asked one of the girls behind the counter if they had any more in the fridge. She said no but if I gave her 10 minutes she would make me one! I thought she was kidding at first but I picked up a few other items and returned to the bakery to find my cake waiting for me. She just had to assemble it and ice it. She did a beautiful job and made a bunch Long Islanders very happy that Sunday. read more

Absolutely the worst, most overpriced grocery store in the area. The main problem though is that They force you to do self checkout due to the long lines, then you finally get to to the register and they say you can't buy alcohol in self check out.... even though they saw us standing there with alcohol in our cart multiple times. Yet they wait until we were trying to scan our items to tell us.... Then you go stand in the register line just to find out you can't buy a bottle of wine and 15 pack of beer at the same time. Where's the signs so I don't waste all afternoon standing in line. I'll leave my frustration about no plastic bags in pa out of the conversation because I know it's more financially beneficial for them to remove plastic bags and sell their own. I'll end my rant with a compliment. Their bathrooms are clean and they utilize a nice soft single ply toilet paper that compensates for the rest of the shopping experience. read more

Yes, I am a food snob. I cringe at the thought of having to go to the Phillipsburg Shop Rite, for any reason. Thank you, Wegman's of Easton, for only being 10 minutes away. :) No need to go on and on about how great this place is. What's important for me is that whenever I need a somewhat exotic or uncommon ingredient for a recipe, I can 9 times out of 10 find it here. Kind of random, but this is a suggestion to any Wegman's management out there who might be listening...can you please start baking smaller loaves of fresh bread?? I love so many of the fresh breads, and I would like to buy one every time I come in, but its so impractical to buy an entire loaf for just me. Need mini loaves!!! read more

I'm a long-time customer who loves living close to a Wegmans. Some minor improvements include: bringing back the Indian Chicken Salad & carrying some brands that Whole Foods stocks. keeping an eye on the hot & cold buffet after lunch hours- for those who eat lunch a little later. tell your employees to have their cigarette breaks in the back, so I don't get a whiff of smoke on my way out. The smell of smoke takes away from your healthy living mission. Lastly, wondering if my shopping card is really giving me discounts or just a way of Wegmans to keep track of my buying behavior. read more

Love Weg's! Good meats-not always the case here. Cheeses my family go nuts for at the holidays. Great prices on certain everyday items so this is our go-to on them. This franchise has really gone downhill. We used to shop them in upstate NY when they were great stores. They don't carry popular brands or have a good variety. They only want to sell the Wegmans brand, and they are not that good. Their prepared foods have become sub par. And the pharmacy is awful. Very disappointing! read more
