I have been a home owner for more than 40 years and Dan at WeFix is undoubtedly the best appliance technician I have ever met. Our Samsung refrigerator was making a strange noise and we called WeFix because they had 5.0 stars on Yelp. Now I see why! Dan came the next day, knew immediately what the problem was, and fixed it on the spot. He is incredibly knowledgeable and, if you are interested in the work, he is happy to explain exactly what he is doing while you watch him do it. His price was very fair too. As Dan was fixing what was causing the noise, I casually mentioned to him that our ice maker had stopped working soon after we bought the refrigerator. Because it was under warranty, twice Samsung had sent someone to repair it, after which it would work for a few weeks and then stop working again. The third time that Samsung sent someone, that technician told us that it simply could not be fixed and that, if we wanted a working ice maker, we should buy a portable ice maker or a new refrigerator. As soon as I finished the story, Dan said instantly, "I can fix it." And he did! That was months ago and our ice maker still works perfectly. Dan was able to do in just a few minutes what 3 Samsung technicians in a row could not do. He even contacted us a couple of days later to ask whether it was working properly. He said that, if it wasn't, he would come back on Saturday at no charge to do any additional work needed to make sure that it was. This is a guy who absolutely cares about the quality of his work -- a true professional. He is also a really, really nice man. He is polite, friendly, happy to answer questions, respectful of your home, and always smiling. He was a total pleasure to work with and the quality of his work was the best! Our Samsung washing machine stopped working and gave us an error message indicating that therfe was a drain issue. We thought the drain was clogged, but, after four tries at unclogging it and the removal of some gunk, it still wouldn't work. So, we consulted Yelp and found a company that specialized in Samsung appliances. Daniel came out the next day, and he quickly found the problem--something jammed the drain pump propeller blades. My daughter works with young children at the Y in Encinitas, and brings a lot of sand home from the playground in her clothes. Daniel had the washer working in five minutes. Given the pump's age, we weren't sure what to do. Daniel clearly explained all of our options to us, and he didn't try to influence us. We decided to replace the pump. Luckily, he had one in his truck, and in less than 20 minutes we were back in the laundry business. I wanted to thank Dan and his crew for their excellent service . I have an electric Samsung range that stopped working... showed an error code on the touch pad screen... oven wouldn't work. Initially, I asked our property management co. (Southcoast commercial) here in San Diego (that's another story) if they have a technician that could diagnose the problem... they said they talked to a technician and would order new touch pad..... a month later, and after multiple calls for status update on part and repair with no response, property management tells me to just buy a new stove.... This range is in a rental. I had been "turning" the rental. Which included painting entire apartment, new flooring installed, new tub and shower installed. And more, all done in that month... So the day I tell Southcoast apartment is ready, what's going on with part for range, they tell me to just buy a new stove... so I look for repair service myself.. I come across WEFIX, which is close to me. They order part... two days later... part has arrived and stove is fixed. Price was less than $300.... New stove was$800.... I contacted Wefix yesterday when our Samsung gas dryer stopped heating up. I spoke with Dan, and he offered to come by late in the evening after he finished some other jobs, but we agreed for him to come first thing in the morning. Dan arrived on time and explained the service charge structure and what he was going to do and offered to have me watch and learn as he worked. Dan was fantastic.  I called him based on reviews and am so glad I did!  I called because my Samsung washing machine was getting stuck in the spin cycle and driving me insane.  He picked up when I called, gave me a few options of times he could stop by (including 5:30pm on a Friday) and booked an appointment!  When he arrived he was able to diagnose the problem immediately and provide pricing for replacement parts.  While I had him there I mentioned I was also having some refrigerator trouble.  He offered to take a look and was able to quickly diagnose that problem as well!  He came back the next morning and fixed both appliances.  He was efficient, thorough, well spoken and just generally a nice guy.  I can't recommend him highly enough. Dan was super communicative and we were able to get an appointment within 24 hours; they were punctual, very professional and knowledgeable about the internals of my Samsung refrigerator. Was able to make appointment very quickly -- Daniel was willing to come out the same day, but I was busy so set up for the following day. He arrived right on time, quickly disassembled my Samsung gas range and diagnosed the problem. It was obvious he had worked on a lot of these before (he said they specialize in Samsung appliances). He clearly explained what the issue was, showed me the price of part (ignitor) online we we agreed on price to replace it.
