I didn't use their service, but I HAVE to leave a review. So the previous owner of the house had their stickers on the washer/dryer they left behind. I was having issues with my refrigerator, so I contacted them via their website form. The owner (Mr. "Tad" Tadeusz) called me shortly after I submitted the form (talk about quick response!), and I explained the symptoms. Dude just straight up said "Ahh that's an ice-build-up in the fan housing." He proceeds to tell me how to fix it, that it's straight forward, and to call him back if it didn't work. Modern fridges with the freezer in the bottom has so many shelves and such that it blocked my view of the vents and the ice build-up. When i removed all the shelving, I finally saw some ice buildup in the vents, just as Mr Tad assumed what had happened. I mean I wouldn't have minded for them to come and to pay for a professional to give my fridge a once-over to ensure it's tip-top shape. But I did as he said, and the issue resolved!!! As instructed, he told me thoroughly clean all the seals, and turn off the fridge to defrost the freezer so it all melts. I finally ate most of the food to do as instructed, I placed what remaining food in coolers, and gave the fridge a good clean and melted all the ice. Issue resolved!!!! No wonder the previous owner kept Mr Tad's business' stickers all over the house. I'm glad he did! Now I have my go-to appliance man for life!!! This kind of integrity is incredible! The man with decades of experience, knew the issue over the phone immediately, and gave me DIY instructions! I'm a consultant and I charge clients for my experience and advice because that's my job. I met Mr. Tad through my property manager. He has had to service our refrigerator unit twice (last year and, more recently, this month). Our refrigerator is small (between two people having to use it), and we had issues of having too many items in the freezer. Eventually, this caused a blockage with the channels and the freezer became extremely icy, while the lower/fridge unit could not hold a cold temperature. Both times we have requested Mr. Tad's services: he is responsive, professional, polite, and on-time. Resolving the issue with our fridge took him about 30 minutes or so to complete. He was happy to explain why the (easily fixable) issue occured and what NOT to do so it doesn't happen again. I can't speak much about his pricing since he goes through my property manager. Tad and his team are fantastic. I had an issue with a previous install on a Dacor Microwave and Oven combination. I called Appliance Solutions to install a cooktop after my original installation deal fell through. Tad was able to fit me in that very afternoon. He quoted a very reasonable price and arrived right on time. While I had the basic measurements correct, a small concrete lip prevented the the new cooktop from dropping in. Tad took it in stride and with a bit more time was able to grind the lip down and drop the cooktop in place. He hooked up the gas and did a good job cleaning up the work area. Tad saved my pedestal washer! My LG pedestal washer suddenly got a dE3 error and won't start, and then I tried to contact appliance repair companies for fix. However, most of companies either rejected immediately or gave up after an inspection. Tad is the only one showing some sort of confidence after I described the issue and sent him the video. He arrived on time and started disassembling and debugging on his own. Initially he drew a wrong conclusion mentioning the door latch controller was broken but he paid attention to details and listened carefully to my descriptions of where we found the loosing part and how unique the rubber part was with a little magnetic. Tad realized in the end that this loosing part was the key and pulled out the washer, reinstalled the part back, and then, the dE3 error is gone like a miracle! I called on a Tuesday, Tad came out on Wednesday, he quickly located the replacement ice maker for the 25 year old fridge, seemed miraculous to me, and fixed the other leaks and cleaned the coils. The technician sent out by Appliance Solutions provided one of the most unprofessional experiences we have ever had. The technician's name is Leo. When Leo arrived, my roommate and I were both working from home and currently busy in Zoom meetings. He called us both and we did miss his calls. When he eventually knocked on the front door, I heard him and let him in. He only waited outside for ~6 minutes between the time he called us and I let him inside. After working on our dryer for a short while he asked if he could turn off the power on the circuit breaker to the appliances for a short while. I showed him the breaker and it wasn't clearly written which breaker was specifically for only the appliances. He asked me which switch was for the appliances and I did not know the answer because we are just renting our apartment. I told him he could not try flipping random switches because my roommate was currently in a very important meeting. (He was currently interviewing potential applicants for a position at the company he works for.) I told Leo that if turning off the power was mandatory, he would have to come back at a later time to complete his work. Leo actually had the audacity to open my roommate's closed door, barge into my roommate's room, and tell him he was going to have to cut the power. He wouldn't take no for an answer. My roommate told him politely THREE times that he couldn't speak to him at the moment. At this point, I almost kicked him out of our apartment. It turned out that he was able to complete the job without accessing the circuit breaker at all. He just had to unplug the dryer to complete his work. Since our dryer is in an enclosed space in our hallway, it is not easy to pull it out and unplug it. Our takeaway is that Leo thought that his behavior was justified because he was too lazy to pull the machine out and reach back and unplug our dryer. When we called to inform Appliance Solutions about our experience, the person we spoke to seemed genuinely concerned and apologetic about our experience. However, as long as Leo is a potential technician that could be sent to your place of residence, the company as a whole only deserves a one-star rating. Our recommendation is to either look for a different appliance service company or to specifically ask not to have Leo sent to your apartment/home. We know that Leo is not welcome back in our residence. read more

I called on a Friday morning, with a problem with my refrigerator making a loud noise. They said they might, or might not be able to see me Friday afternoon? I said that was fine. About 6:00 that same evening, called to find out if they we still able to come, and if not, did they work Saturdays? I did not get a call back. Nor did I get any call on Monday, nor Tuesday. I give up. I called another gentleman and he will be here same day, between 2:00 and 4:00. Update: the owner, just called and said their office girl had gotten sick and did not pass along the message. The owner actually offered to come over immediately and free of charge. Mostly positive experince with Tad and Appliance Solutions. Installed a couple of appliances for me - gas cooktop and a double oven. Good communication, professional demeanor, clearly experienced. I really appreciated that he had no problem moving my old oven (heavy!) into the garage, after the work was done. I took one star off for having to draw his attention to the fact that the new oven was not level inside the cabinet, when originally installed and had to be adjusted. I wish he noticed and corrected it himself, instead of waiting for the client to point it out - it was quite obvious. He has an incredible service--he returns your call, he alerts you when he's on his way (within the time frame he provided), and does exactly what he promised and more. Our Samsung dryer was generating this awful noise (loud screeching sound) while my wife was out of town. Called Tad. He diagnosed the problem, replaced some rollers and brackets, aligned the drum, repaired another roller when the drum didn't perform to his standards. All for a reasonable price. This guy is legit.
