Again, Cristian steps up to help. I texted him Sunday afternoon about wanting some advice for our refrigerator in Tahoe. Of course, I knew he couldn't service our Tahoe refrigerator but was hoping he would have time to give me some suggestions about what to do. Well, he called me immediately! His free advice helped me decide I need a new refrigerator. Thanks, Cristian. read more

I highly recommend and thank Teckrom for great service on my dryer. I called them with my problem and the next day Paul came out and took care of it. My dryer works great again! read more

This is at least the third time I have used this company for refrigerator repairs. They are awesome. They are prompt, clean, and fair. I highly recommend them. read more

This appears to be a small company with no dispatcher. The tech answered the phone & said he would order the part I needed (an icemaker) but that it would take one or two days and he would call me when he had the part. Two days later I called back and he sez he never ordered the part and it will now take a week. I call someone else. read more

As usual, great technician (Joseph) and the repair was done quickly and neatly. I've used this company at least 3 times and recommend them. They know their stuff (I've used them to service refrigerators). read more

Super helpful staff who actually didn't take my money and instead offered insight as to what could be wrong with my washing machine and what steps I could do to mitigate the flooding issue I have. Gave me honest feedback and recommended I find a plumber to inspect instead. Really appreciate the friendliness. Would recommend. read more

We have used the Teckrom team, including the owner (Cristian) and the service technician (Joseph), as our primary appliance repair company for several years. They also recently completed a refrigerator repair at our home, and we've referred them to many of our clients. They are honest, on time for appointments, and they always find a solution to the problem. Their many years of experience shows in the quality of their work. I never hesitate to recommend Teckrom to anyone needing an appliance service and repair company. Chris Howe @ Howe Realty SD read more

Teckrom was recommended to me, and Teckrom truly lived up to the hype. Teckrom's proficient and fair-priced business practice won me over, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. After having terrible experiences with other companies, finding Teckrom was like striking gold. Teckrom's response time is impressively quick, and Joseph is a standout expert who balances fairness and efficiency perfectly. What I appreciate most is Teckrom's noble pricing approach for a high-standard service, prioritizing clients' interests over profits. This balance has earned my infallible trust in Teckrom. If your appliances need repair, I highly recommend giving them a shot. read more

Fast, proficient, and fair pricing. Teckrom was able to help me the same day I called. Joe was able to explain was wrong with my dryer and what it needs to be done. They even adjusted my vent, to keep it more efficient. Works like new again and saved me hundreds of $ for few more years. Thanks again Teckrom! read more

I highly recommend Teckrom for appliance repairs. Our Kenmore refrigerator had a problem with the ice maker which Joseph fixed in a matter of minutes; however the Fisher&Paykel stove wasn't repairable due to the company discontinuing the part needed. Teckrom has also worked on our Samsung, Miele and Bosch appliances. Teckrom techs are professional, personable and efficient, cleaning as they go without leaving a mess or loose ends. Teckrom's prices are very reasonable for the quality of work and service provided. I always call Teckrom and have for going on 10 years now. I am a very satisfied customer. read more

We always are happy with Techron. They have fixed our dryer and refrigerator, and our daughter's oven and refrigerator. They are usually available the same day or next, the repair guys are friendly and experienced. They don't overcharge and try to find the least expensive solutions. They let us know when they are coming. read more

These guys are amazing! Joseph spent a long time trying to fix an old refrigerator and finally determined that it was too far gone to be worth an expensive repair. I paid the fee for the cleaning and maintenance with no objection since he really did do a lot of work, and the next day Cristian called and wanted to make sure I was ok paying since they couldn't fix it. I guess he would have given me back the money if I had complained. I told him Joseph deserved every penny. I call them every time I need a repair and they're always great. Highly recommend. read more

Great honesty great collaboration on a problem. Thorough and great communication. Will use them again

Teckrom has been my go‑to appliance repair company for several years, and they consistently deliver excellent service. I had a little accident with my Samsung oven, some plastic went down a slot underneath where the burners are, the plastic melted and caused a lot of smoke. I then had to use a fire extinguisher to stop the spewing smoke, needless to say this caused quite a mess. Joseph came by, took the inside apart and with a thoroughness rarely seen, painstakingly cleaned all the extinguisher powder and melted plastic perfectly. He reassembled everything back tested the oven, cleaned up and all is working great. I highly recommend Teckrom for all of your large appliance repair needs, Joseph exceeded my expectations and they tend to be pretty high. read more

If you're looking for a repair facility to fix your LG washer you've found the right company. Teckrom Inc repaired my LG washer sooner than expected. Joseph was the technician assigned to my problem. Joseph was able to diagnosis the problem quickly and told me the parts would take 2 business days. The next day Diam at Teckrom contacted me that the parts arrived at their shop and Joseph can be by later on today to install the parts. Great company. I definitely will use them in the future. When I initially called this company was very happy because the service technician that they sent out was prompt, courteous, kind, thorough and I would and will call on him again in a heartbeat. ( Radu Sipos). Cristian Sidor, the owner of this business was called more than a week ago to support his company warranty. Despite having a traditional thermometer showing the same rising temps, Cristian mansplained it was "just the sensor failing", which obviously makes no sense. He also man splained that I should probably make sure to close the freezer. It had not been opened for 5 days and still the temperature was increasing.... He didn't want to hear about it. He wasted his time and mine by replacing the sensor and then leaving. He said if the temperature did not cool the adequately, he would come back before leaving town for his birthday. He then changed his story to his leaving town and told me I should text him and he would make sure to have a technician here to service. And here I am at Thanksgiving week, I have a dying refrigerator and I now have to pay another company to finish the work Cristian Sidor if Teckrom refuses to honor. After his initial service call, Cristian Sidor, the owner of Teckrom, said he does not usually go out in the field. He also assured me that while he was leaving town for his birthday, he had technicians that would be here to service, if need be. All I had to do was text him directly and he would make sure I was covered. It is not obvious why the technicians are leaving this company. When your good service technicians walk away, your customers will follow and BRING their BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, clearly as Cristian, the OWNER OF THIS COMPANY is now suggesting. read more

Teckrom Top Appliance Repair Service I had my usual appliance repair service company to call but they wouldn't repair LG Refrigerators; therefore, I had to call an LG specialist & I'm glad I called Teckrom. Teckrom fixes all major brands & specializes in LG & Samsung. After doing a journalistic investigation, BBB, Licensing, Consumer Report & reviews, I discovered that Teckrom is a kosher business, been in business since 2015 with owner Cristian as a veteran expert since 1993! That was good enough for me. I saw a picture of Cristian with a Teckrom company shirt which the logo was a flag and map of Romania. This meant the company was Romanian owned. Cristian must be an American of Romanian born or root. In the past, I had good experiences with Romanian people. How could I tell the flag and map of Romania? I'm great at history & geography, also a world traveler! I called Cristian, he was very helpful & informative. I text him the model & serial number tag photo, my info & what he required. He scheduled me the next day at my convenience. That was fast! Punctual on the next day Joseph showed up, explained to me the problem & how much it will cost. I OKed it & he went to order the parts. In a few days, he got the icemaker & the valve for the back, he came right over & fixed the refrigerator. Teckrom gave me 6 months warranty. Joseph been doing this for a long time & he was very informative. He gave me some great information tips on appliances: * Buy KitchenAid & Whirlpool because they never breakdown * LG & Samsung are good brands, but parts are expensive & they breakdown * Don't use Quick Ice, it exhausts & over freezes the icemaker, so the life gets short * Don't put oven on quick clean, it shortens the life, just clean manually * Buy portable microwaves, in cabinet microwaves have short life span and so on ... He also gave me his take on solar panels, solar batteries & how to go off grid. Joseph is a very informative man. I always watch my contractors work so I learn something new. Teckrom is a reliable company for the people who want punctual, fast service from experts. Teckrom will be my new appliance repair company. I done your homework for you, I found them, I investigated them & I experimented with them. They passed my perfectionist test, now you can hire them with a peace of mind! read more

Urgent Refrigerator coils cleaning - for 2 refrigerators. THE GOOD - 1. Fast response - Super quick response next morning by 10am. Wow! 2. Nice - Technician John was nice guy, easy to communicate with. 3. Solution - Solved our main urgent problem - which was figuring out why the garage around our second refrigerator smelled really bad - he found a dead mouse near the coils, probably trying to keep warm. Fried the meeces to pieces! 4. Guidance - Advised us on each refrigerator's lifecycle and recommendations for replacements. That helps us stay a step ahead. THE BAD (ish) - 1. Poor communications - No estimate provided by the office by phone or email, before the job. Technician was surprised by that, and had to deal with it on site by calling office and talking to supervisor, and looking at previous servicing charges. 2. Cost - Initially was going to charge $390 (for about 30 minutes of work). After I said no, he adjusted it to $255 based on previous servicing (which he also did not know about) and after talking to his supervisor. That still seems somewhat high for 30 (ish) minutes of work. That is about three times more than I get paid per hour, and I have a Master's degree and a much, much more complex job. Wow! 3. Poor cleanup - Technician did not clean up the kitchen area after the job, so there was dirt and grime all over the floor. Unfortunately, I did not notice it until after he left. May use them again, but not sure. Not completely satisfied with this visit. Will have to consider the circumstances in the future. Hope that helps! ------------------------- 2021 / September - (back dated) - 4.8 star review - old dishwasher assessment, new dishwasher installation, and refrigerator coils cleaning. Technician Joseph very good! Decent price for all the work. Initial assessment of $75 just to come out and take a look, seemed high. Joseph recommended a Bosch dishwasher, which we love! Overall pretty good experience. read more

My LG refrigerator was making a loud noise and I thought it was the compressor. Not every repair company will work on LG refrigerators. B&B appliance referred me to TECKROM. O my goodness, I have never had such amazing service. From the first phone call to the actual service was great. Joseph called 15 minutes before he arrived with a positive attitude. He is very knowledgeable and found the problem immediately. Actually the fridge just needed servicing. Can I say I am so impressed and satisfied. Highly recommend. read more

I can not speak highly enough of Joseph, the fridge repair expert who came to my home to address a few problems. He is kind, highly intelligent, knowledgeable, and so very helpful. Joseph is also quite pleasant to be around and a good conversationalist. I genuinely enjoyed the time spent working together. He even helped me clean the cubby the fridge slides into, which was quite dusty. I would not hesitate to have Joseph out to my home again, as he is stellar at his job and a great human to boot! There's nothing worse than either your washer or dryer having issues, especially when you're doing laundry, which was the case. There was a funny sound coming from the washer, and it looked like it had trouble draining, and then it happened...the washer stopped and it remained locked. We were able to shake something and it finished the cycle, which was at the end. The extended warranty was already over, so called to make an appointment with the manufacturer's repair company. They couldn't come out for a week and I didn't have enough BVDs to last. LOL! Our neighbor recommended Teckrom. Made an appointment for Wednesday (three days after the fact) and Joseph called before coming over. He assessed the problem, said we needed a new pump, wasn't sure when he could install because ordering sometimes takes some time. Joseph sent a text Wednesday night, said they had one in stock and could install it on Friday morning. We got a text on Thursday saying he could come by in the late afternoon to do the installation. Come to find out, a dog waste bag was the culprit. But now, everything is right in the world now! The whole process was efficient and the service reasonably priced! Cako even came out to inspect the work and say "Hello". Highly recommend! Cako Approves! (a first...lol) read more

Cristian talked me through a very perplexing repair on my built in Magic Chef oven. I called two other repair people first who were either too intimidated to work on an older unit or immediately made excuses.
