WARNING! BEWARE! Came here about 3 months prior because I woke up with tooth pain. Was told I needed a "deep cleaning." The cost was almost $900.00 but I had money on my HSA so I went ahead and did it. I asked several times how much it would be next visit, which they wanted me back in 3 months. I was told multiple times next visit was no charge. It would be completely covered with my insurance. Came in today, checked in and before I even went back they were hitting me up for almost 140.00. I explained last visit I was told multiple times today's visit was no charge. They informed me today was some kind of "special cleaning" because I had the "deep cleaning" last time. They said this "special cleaning" has to be done every 3 months and I would be charged. They told me I have very basic dental and it doesn't cover it. I told them I didn't want to be seen and wish I would of known this before driving all the way from Avondale. The front desk was very pushy telling me I'm going to end up with the same problem if I don't continue with this "special cleaning." I let them know I would go else where and have a preventive cleaning. They kept pressuring me saying, "oh that won't be covered because they will see you had a deep cleaning." Save yourself the trouble with the lies this office will tell you. They are just out for your money! I can see why people go to Mexico for dental services. read more

Best dental group ever. So I had a huge dental issue. My molar cracked and I also had an infection in that tooth. From the moment I booked my appointment the customer service was amazing. All my questions were answered and I was presented with treatment options and a detailed treatment plan. Dr. Cosio was AMAZING. He was so thorough and gentle. He was able to remove my tooth. Fairly painless a little pressure during but couldn't feel any pain. The instant relief I felt should be studied. The cost was also very reasonable. Amazing practice, highly professional, knowledgeable and truly helpful to the point where you can tell they actually care about you and your well being. I called 8 other dentists offices to see if they were open on the weekend and no other office was really helpful / one or two were slightly rude. When I called Weekend Dental, it was like a breath of fresh air. The rep that scheduled me was super kind & I had the easiest process in scheduling that appointment which was for that same weekend! Ro was the kindest and most caring rep that took the time to really listen to my needs and go above and beyond with flossing and care advice. Hours: 5 Star Open both Saturday and Sunday until 7pm (as of today) You won't find a lot of Dentist office with these kind of hours. I did ask them, they are fairly new (the location is new) but they have other offices around the valley, hence why they don't have much up on yelp yet. Appointment Setting: 5 Star My son has been having a toothache around the area where his wisdom tooth was and was causing him to have these bad headaches. Our normal Dentist couldn't take us in for extractions as she has someone else that comes once a week to do them and would only extract up to two at a time, anyways, we wouldn't have been able to get an appointment in for another month and half and yesterday on a weekend of all days, he told me the headaches were getting more and more so by luck, I found this gem that was able to take him right away. I literally called them on a Saturday late afternoon (4ish) and they told me to come in the very next day (Sunday). They took our insurance info over the phone and they had everything ready before we got there. The Location: 4 Star The place was not hard to find and in a very ideal location (if you live around the Arcadia light area). They share the building with a lot of other medical offices too. There were lots of parking (could be that it was the weekend). The office was a bit small but very, very clean. The waiting room was a bit small and nicely decorated and comfortable but the operational side was a good enough size that could probably house 3 patients at a time. The service: 5 Star Front desk lady was super nice and seem knowledgeable on the front house stuff as well as the operational stuff. We got there about 15 min before our appointment as I knew we would have some paperwork to fill as being a new patient. I love how their registration is eco-friendly and everything was done on a tablet. They took my son back right on appointment time. After an exam and some x-rays, I was then called to join him in the back. 2 Dentist and an assistant came in to join me after to explain the treatment plan. They were very thorough but to the point. Trust me, I've been to a lot of dentist (one of them being my own) and they usually try to up sell their services to do more than what is needed ( No Dr. Susan, I'm not going to do 4 root canals and crowns on my son's baby teeth when the adult tooth is already peeking through, take them out! You would understand if you knew how much a root canal and crown will cost you even with superb insurance) that was a true story! Anyways, this place did not do any of that, in fact they were very straight forward of what needed to happen which was what I already knew, we had to remove all of 4 of his wisdom teeth. He also had a molar that was save-able so they did that too and even gave me a nice hefty discount for that work. He did mention that he would need some other work done but that would be a conversation for another day, right now the focus is to get the patient to be at a comfort level and they did just that and so the mother of the year award goes to .... drum roll please.... this mom who just signed his teenage son up last minute to get 1 molar done and 4 wisdom teeth out all at once.... listen, for those of you who dread going to the dentist to get your teeth pulled, I've done it before, it's better to get them all out at once. You'd only have to endure the process once instead of twice or 4x if you're doing it once at a time. Don't worry, my son thanked me for it! He even said, it ain't that bad. The only time he felt pain was when they were numbing him, which is true. That is the only time you feel pain and minor at that because everything else after that is done while you're numb. Anyways, I'm now blabbing on unnecessary stuff. Ok! Back to the appointment, everything went well. The exam might have taken longer than the actual extractions, they were very fast and we didn't have to wait that long. The Dr's and assistant, gosh I felt like everyone in that office came to talk to me on how it went and a run down on how to care for him at home. Honestly, everyone is so nice, they came introduced themselves and gave a lot of good self care at home advice and even then, they never pressured me into coming back to do more work or spend more money than I need to today which I love because I always feel bad/guilty after leaving the OTHER dentist office after they guilt trip you on if you don't do this you will die! (Ok, I'm over exaggerating a little here but you get the gist of my past experiences, right?!?, ok) I mean, I know I have to get them done but damn Dr. Sally, you don't gotta make me feel that way) ANYWAYS! All and all, the experience was great! I would highly recommend this Dental office to anyone, friends and a family. Give them a chance and you can't beat their hours too. read more

The office itself is beautifully designed to make you feel calm. The assistant is awesome. He took x rays and also played my music on headphones while treatment. Most importantly, the doctor is awesome, genuine and knowledgeable. She knows what she is doing. She showed everything in my mouth on a big tv. After I was done with my treatment I found out that she is an "award-winning" dentist for her quality. I was surprised by that. I had an appointment this morning at the Tempe location. I walk in and the front desk has no smile but greets me with we can't verify your insurance!! My question to Angelina was why did you not let me know this morning? Her response was in a defensive tone and she said I did. I said I did not receive any calls from the office regarding this! Her reply was we were here late last night, something in that context!! It's not the patients problem , your schedule is your commitment to your job. I am a new patient. I have been for 2 cleanings so far and I am very impressed with this practice. Very professional and friendly staff. Steve at the front desk as well as the young lady who works there are very friendly and professional. Steve even called ahead to ensure everything is squared away with my insurance. I was surprised and impressed that Dr. Devgun did my cleaning herself, as most dentists don't bother. She was extremely careful and answered all of my questions. She offered good advice and was also approachable and professional. My last Phoenix dentist was very impatient with his patients and that was the main reason I left that practice. Good bedside manner is a huge asset and Dr. Devgun sets a high standard. Speaking of good bedside manner, Chris my hygienist was also great and did a thorough job assisting the Dr. and then polishing my teeth. He allowed me to control when I needed suction breaks etc and I liked being somewhat involved in the process. Their weekend opening hours will be a plus for busy people, though I prefer weekday visits.
