Went in today looking for some cheap onesies considering it's used clothing. Onesies ranged from $5-10 for one! Thought that was outrageous considering it's used and I could go to Walmart and buy one for that price brand new. As far as there bigger ticket items like cribs or swings that's a more fair price compared to the clothing. Was greeted when I walked in but didn't purchase anything so can't say much but overall seemed friendly. I'd say 3/5 because some things aren't fair priced while others were. The return policy is awful and I already knew that but I figured I wouldn't need to worry about it. Boy was I wrong. I bought a baby play gym for $20 and it came broken, EXTREMELY used, and has less than half the parts what a waste of money I threw it away because the return policy wouldn't let me return it anyway and even if I could, as I said it came with less than half of it. The prices are way too high for garbage merchandise. There was a really nice maternity dress I saw while I was pregnant but it was $50! I ended up getting a very nice, new, BEAUTIFUL one on amazon. Do not shop here and definitely don't buy something important like a car seat here because clearly they don't take the time to review, clean, or ensure product quality. I have been going to WeeCycle for a few years for maternity clothes, nursing bras, baby clothes, etc. and have never had a bad experience. It's a great place for secondhand kid-related items at a fair price. However, the most recent time I went (the new location), I had spent a good amount of time shopping for baby clothes and other items. The location hadn't been open that long so I excused the messes all over the store. I wandered over to a section at the very front of the store, which was Halloween costumes. I hadn't taken anything off the rack, but I barely touched one of them. A store employee then came up and said "these aren't for sale yet", to which I replied, "oh that's okay, I'm just looking". She then told me, "we actually can't have anyone looking at them until they're available for sale."... I thought, okay, then why are they the first thing you see when you walk in the door? And why wouldn't I be able to look at them, literally just setting my eyes upon them? After that, I decided to check out. I walked up to the counter, which was covered in food trash and cups. The cashier didn't greet me, and didn't say a word to me, even after I greeted her. She rang up all my clothes while I stood in awkward silence, unsure if I had done something to upset her. She didn't even tell me my total. At this point I should have just left, but I had picked out some great clothes for my daughter. I paid and left without any fuss, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, so much so that I haven't been back since then, nor have I had the desire to. I'm disappointed in the way this visit went, because I left feeling like I had done something wrong and I felt awkward that the interaction with the employees went the way that it did. On top of that, the store was a mess as well as trash all over the check out counter. There were also big dogs there, which didn't really bother me but I thought might be worth mentioning in case someone has an issue with that, being that they don't disclose that anywhere else. read more

I have gone in twice (I figured I shouldn't judge them on one interaction) but the second time was just as bad - the staff treats you like you're doing them a favor by being in there. On my second visit I meant to consign some items but was turned off by their buying process. This is my go to place for when I need clothing for my son. He is in his growth spurt stage and nothing I buy fits him for more than a few months. I can go and spend $100 bucks and leave with at least a couple full bags of name brand clothing. The owner and people that work there are always nice and helpful. I really do love WeeCycle! I feel their prices are very reasonable!!! I found an adorable pair of baby Adidas shoes in like new condition for around $5. I don't think I've ever paid more than $9 for a pair of shoes. And I know I've always found a pair of shoes that I 'had to have' for the baby (now that I'm done with my shoe fetish that I am possibly passing down to my 19-month-old son)... Their clothes always seem to be in great condition. I don't remember how much I spent on an average outfit, but I know I've never found anything in there I didn't think was a fair price. I've even found brand new outfits there, with the tags still on, for thrift store prices. They have a great selection of adorable clothes, as well. I honestly drive over 40 miles to come to this store, that's how good it is. And FYI: They have a FaceBook account that you can friend and they give a 'word of the day' which gives you prizes that range from new items to gift cards. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, smiling, and seems to love their job. And that makes all the difference (especially if you've read my review on The Monkey Cage.) read more

Terrible experience! We have not shopped here for sometime since my children have grown, but today we ventured in to do some shopping as my daughter is now in the process of becoming a foster parent. As soon as we entered we were told we need to mask, now mind you our wonderful Governor in Florida has opened our state as well as the county state of emergency has been lifted. Aside from that my daughter has a doctors note that she can not wear a mask. The gal working told us it didn't matter, we must mask in order to shop. Reason per her was that children and pregnant women can't get vaccinated. So we need to protect them. This is complete discrimination against those who medically can't mask. Perhaps it's greedy or hypocritical of me in some way, but it's nice to have a place to make some scratch off yr baby stuff rather than donating it. Sure, I donate tons of other stuff to the thrift stores around town, so then I don't feel too guilty making a buck off the baby stuff. Anyhow, it seems a well-oiled-machine when you wanna bring your stuff in, and they give you a handy dandy number to keep track of all the sales and pay you out after the stuff sells. Pretty simple, and perhaps just a basic consignment shop, but it works for us. The selection is pretty decent, prices are ok - not that great for bargain hunters, it seems, but at least you save over buying new and have an option other than some dirty old broken thrift store baby junk. read more

Great set up and merchandise are all in excellent condition. I find the staff to be a bit rude and lacking in how they communicate with customers. I was told to leave my stuff in my car until they were ready. I had a lot of stuff and some were heavy. When I did bring them in the lady said not put them on the counter. Each piece had to laid on the counter individually. Really bad attitude! read more

This place has disappointed me time and again. The rip you off by paying you garage sale prices and then turning around and selling for consignment prices. And they are so picky about what they accept, it's not even worth the hassle. They sell the items that are designated for donation. Their gift cards expire so you can't save them up to use together if you don't have enough on one. The employees are rude and constantly gossiping with each other (often about patrons). The owner is cold; I don't think have never seen her smile. They get mad when children touch things in the store. I would rather donate my clothes than bother with the Weecycle negativity. And I will stick to any of the many other consignment and thrift stores in the area. Shady business practices and rude employees? No thanks. read more

I love this place! I used to take my kids stuff in to them for consignment and it always seemed like I never spent any money. I always came out with more stuff than I went in with, but lately I have been trading, I got about half off our new Britax car seat and replaced all my sons sippy cups with BPA free Plastic and Stainless Steel cups. The days you can bring stuff in are hard to figure out but they have a decent website can with each months consigning dates or even check to see if I sold anything :~) . I've been a regular Weecycle shopper for 10 years and don't know what the reviewer is talking about below who said the prices are high. I've got my most recent receipt and looking at two adorable Justice dresses, which run about $45 at the mall, for $8 each. This is a wonderful local business run by a hard-working mother ... she seems to have high standards for what she takes -- high-quality brands in like-new condition. Great selection of brands, colors, sizes and clothes -- I can usually find what I'm looking for here; have bought everything from a boys' suit to girls' ballet clothes to beautiful dresses and shorts sets. read more

I have bought a number of items here over the past several years. If you are careful and selective with quality, you can find some great deals. It is hit or miss. But I usually buy more than I intended going in. I like checking out the baby/kids shoes too. Just don't buy anything unless you are 100% bc the return policy is horrible and sometimes the sizes are really off. Also I would agree with other comments on customer service. Wonder if profit margins are narrow that they have to be so strict with their consignment rules and return policy? Maybe they are just burned out and feel they have to protect themselves? They have been super selective with my consignment items yet a lot of what I see on the racks are in much worse shape than the items I brought. Puzzling? Wonder how often they turn over all the older, non-sellable stuff or does it just sit there for years on end? Who knows. I have consigned items at this store and I have purchased items at this store. The only disappointment with them was that I consigned the pottery barn frog chair that we bought brand new for $100. It looked brand new when I dropped it off but it wouldn't sell for some reason so I had to pick it up. I found it on the floor behind other large items and it looked like it had been taken outside and rolled around in the dirt. I asked the clerk about it and she said that unfortunately, kids climbed all over it. I got the feeling that they didn't care because it didn't cost them anything to have the item for sale. Then, I was out of the money and felt completely disrespected by them not taking care of the item or the situation. Was the purpose of my item being there to sell it or to entertain children. I couldn't even give it away after that. I haven't consigned anything there since. read more

Love going here for clothes for my twins. Clean, organized, great kid book section and so much more. They have a discount stamp card, lots of big sales throughout the year & today when I checked in through Yelp, I received a $5 off a purchase of $35 +. Staff are always friendly and willing to help. I'm a big supporter of small business but it is becoming more and more difficult to do business here. I try to abide by all of the rules including 1) restricted drop off hours 2) definitely don't bring your bag in before your name is called 3) make sure you don't fold your clothes but to lay them flat in the bag 4) definitely don't bring them in a plastic bag and the NEW rule I learned is that if you are bringing in an item that requires assembly setup YOU have to assemble it yourself (despite having all nuts and screws counted out WITH the instruction manual to verify all pieces are there). I'll pass thank you very much! Frankly, I am now guessing this is all catching up with them. FULL racks, they take less and less from my bag each time I consign, higher prices, and less foot traffic (from what it appears). I want all small businesses to succeed but they have to do their part in making the customer feel welcome, important (because we are why you have a business in the first place), be competitive with prices, and go out of your way to work with the costumer! I'll continue to go there in the meantime in hopes there will be improvements but as soon as someone realizes there is a business opportunity in this market where reasonable prices are given and customers are valued, I fear for their future. read more

I have never sold anything here but have bought plenty, from used maternity and kids clothes to a new stroller. I always check here for something I need before trying to buy it new. The stock changes all the time, so you can shop as frequently as you would like! They offer pretty deep discounts (25, 50, and even 75%) off of older items so that's a nice plus. There is also an awesome playroom in the back for the kids, so my 3 and 4 yr old actually look forward to going to the store. They sell a lot of new high end strollers and furniture also, so don't think it's a standard ratty thrift store. Worth the time for sure. read more

I love the concept but I would rather shop on line because I would get better customer service frankly. I've had excellent luck buying and selling my items on eBay over the years. The one staff member at Wee Cycle checking items in was very snooty and wouldn't even make eye contact with me. She just began espousing - reading off her check in policy before making eye contact and extending a proper greeting. The staff are very insincere in their customer service and sound so scripted with spouting off their policies that they really don't seem to care or connect with the customer. God forbid you bring your items in to the counter before your name is called even if the store is empty! Be prepared for attitude and condescending looks from the staff. On one occasion I was there, the store was empty and my hands were full with lots of items I brought in and the woman told me I would have to wait until my name was called and I was made to hold my items for 30 minutes while she worked on stocking items rather than assisting her one sole customer in the store. She clearly did not care that my hands were full and I was having to wait on her. They obviously don't NEED good return customers. Staff are overly picky about what they select too and many of the items in my daughter's sizes that they had on the rack for sale were stained and looked much more frayed and worn than the very nice boutique dresses that I brought in for trade that were deemed "no-thank yous". Don't waste your time. read more

After a few years of shopping there I am still not really sure what to think about that place. The store is about 1/2 consignment area and 1/2 new stuff with the new stuff ranging from furniture, toys, cloths, car seats, strollers, baby bottles to Medela supply. A nice selection about everything you might need for a baby/toddler; with a lot of nice, unusual brands you won't find at Target & Co. This huge variety of stuff is at the same time the biggest downside of the store. They have a little bit from everything, but are not specialized on anything. Hence, with some of the things (e.g. strollers, carriers) the staff is not very knowledgeable. I therefore don't recommend to buy any bigger items with which you might need some service later on there. They have the return policies of a small store (which suck for the customer) but at the same time offer no service, so you are better off buying online or at a huge store. I bought a jogging stroller for more than 300 USD there. I had to do the assembly myself (they don't consider it their job i.e. are not 'licensed' to do) and I had some issues with it the months after I bought it - return not possible and a couple of useless trips to the store until the issue got finally addressed. During one of the visits it was even claimed that the problem did not exist! I don't use the consignment area much anymore. They have a pretty good selection of baby cloths, but the used cloth section for kids over 1 sucks, overpriced (e.g. 4 USD for T-Shirts) and IMHO horrible styles (there is a reason why the stuff has no spots and holes). I personally sell some selected good things on craigslist/ebay and donate the rest - a much better deal for both the seller and the buyer. The staff - with a few exceptions unfriendly and one of the main reasons I stopped going there. Plus a minor annoyance, I bought a breast shield for a Medela Pump. The breast shield was sitting on their shelf for such a long time that it didn't fit the current pump model anymore (I called Medela) and the people from Weecycle refused to take it back. In summary, MY experience with the store is not very good and I rather take my business somewhere else. But I would still recommend it for checking out unusual brands and gimmicks. read more

I never thought much of it that none of my friends frequent Weecylce and after todays experience, I now see why! It is straight up bad customer service, from the employee girl to the owner girl. It seems to me that they hate their job, or maybe don't like children. I am not sure. At least at Moes they greet us when we walk in the door. I don't understand how a childrens store can have such an atmosphere. My kids and I had fun shopping in the store, and we almost had a good experience, but little did I know that I would purchase an item and the worker had intentionally switched it out with another item that was open. I felt tricked and have never seen such horrible business practice. It makes sense to me now that my crew doesn't go here, oh well at least I tried! So today they made money off of me, but never again will I step foot in there. I am very reasonable and I don't have high expectations for people in general, however if you work in retail, there is a standard that I expect and it was far from met from these ladies. Maybe they can learn something from the Moes employees. I called my friends and shared my experience, and my girlfriend said she was not surprised- she informed me, "at Weecycle the customer is always wrong" . I can't wait to take my business elsewhere and celebrate spending money at a local store with a good attitude! read more
