It's the kind of spot where the energy is contagious--everyone's into the game, cheering, and just having a great time. Service really stood out too. Even with a full crowd, the staff stayed attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without making us feel rushed. You can tell they know how to handle a busy night while still making it feel personal. Whether you're there for a big game, a night out with friends, or just want a lively atmosphere with good food and drinks, Tom's Watch Bar is a win. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. We did have to wait for 20 min for our server to return to pay our bill. That was the only downside that was a bit crazy that she never came back!

Instead we got a live demonstration of how someone can be both a manager and completely allergic to managing. Nate approached our table like we had just personally asked him to work a double. Every question we asked was met with the same expression people make when their phone battery hits 1%. Asked if the TV could be switched to the game. Nate stared at the remote like it was a cursed artifact he legally wasn't allowed to touch. At one point he said, "I'll handle it." This was a bold claim considering he immediately disappeared and we never saw him again. I assume he's still somewhere in the building not handling it. Honestly, it was kind of fascinating to watch. Most managers run the place. Nate seems more like a guy who wandered in, got handed a manager title, and has been confused ever since. If Nate is the manager on duty, just know you'll be managing your own experience.

We loved the the food, the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. We had lunch so traffic was a little slow say 25 to 30 other folks eating with us. Lots of TV everywhere. The beer on tap was a long list of American beers. Could use a few ales or micro brewed beers. But the food was king, every thing we ate was freshly hand crafted even the bread was custom baked. Way better the Bubba's for the same price range. You need to check them out. Walk-On's is in the old O'Charles building in Fishers In. In front of Target. I think you'll love it too.

It works well for lunch, dinner with family or friends, or even a casual date night. I started with the alligator bites appetizer, followed by the ribeye sliders and fries, and finished with an espresso martini. The sliders were tender, flavorful, and seasoned well. The alligator bites were crispy and not chewy. The espresso martini had a great coffee flavor with a hint of sweetness that not only quenched my thirst but served as my dessert as well.

A bit of pick your adventure - table games, coloring, corn hole, table tennis, trivia. The fire pits bring back wonderful memories of kicking back with loved ones and enjoying a laid back evening. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable and I told my hubby we needed to get some! They do have happy hour and plenty of free parking. Small, little, somewhat burnt, STEAMING HOT, not-so-buttery and not-so-cajun-ish corn on the cobs. Next we have the chicken. I would've rather grown a chicken, killed it for some wings, made a hat with its feathers and made sensory toys with its eyes The buns were probably the best part. The lettuce was cut smaller than you could ever imagine, the chicken had a good amount but tasted like it was drowned in Franks Red Hot Sauce. The tomato was a tomato This isn't all the restaurant though. The other times I visited here were AMAZING The times I sat in the big room were good because, there were TVs to save my boredom, the built in chargers were neat, and the food was just better! It has been over ten years since my original review of Fort Ben Pub, a locally owned pub and grill…read moretype establishment located in the Fort Ben area in the same strip center that includes Moo & Lou's Ice Cream and Phaya Thai. There's a wheelchair ramp in the middle of the building - I'll be honest, I don't quite trust it as I've noticed people in this parking area tend to block it without noticing it. There's also easy access from a ramp at the end of the building. Lawrence has done quite a bit to improve their curb cuts in this area, an area that has grown massively since my last review including 2-3 apartment buildings, a library branch, and an improved civic plaza. Fort Ben Pub itself is pretty accessible, though it becomes less so when it's packed (for example, my most recent visit was on a Friday karaoke night and accessibility was definitely more limited). There's two glass doors going inside the pub and, yes, they do offer a few tables on the sidewalk for outside dining. As you enter, you arrive in a large dining area with a beautiful bar to the right. The restaurant is decorated in warm woods with a few televisions of varying sizes and, on this evening, background music playing. On this visit, I was with a festival after-party that was placed off the main area in a smaller area that had two pool tables along with a variety of food/appetizers, etc. It's a cozy room that gave me a chance to check out the rest of the building. I did see the restrooms, which I would definitely not consider accessible - plan accordingly. I could possibly get in the door of the men's restroom, but it was quite tight and I have a smaller chair. This is a beloved place for a friend of mine who lives nearby and within walking distance. They treat her well. She was there during this visit, and I honestly just smiled at their clear affection for her (it's mutual). I love places that become community, and knowing this makes me want to return. That said, my accessibility concerns do somewhat limit my options. Fort Ben Pub does offer space for private events/groups and does catering. They have pool tables, Putt Putt live, Mega Touch, and Golden Tee and most of the sports network channels. While I'd tried both their tenderloin and burger in the past, I had a variety of items this time around due to the after-party, though not everything it seems was on the menu (or I'm just not recognizing it). As I noted previously and my friend also proves, the employees are super friendly and helpful. There are definitely times when it gets busy, though it's also pretty easy to come here during slower times. This particular visit was the first time I'd experienced accessibility issues. There's an awful lot to love here. I have to say that while I wasn't in the room with karaoke, the people were having a blast with such sincere enthusiasm that I was almost in awe. I've done karaoke one time in my life, and I don't think there's enough alcohol in the world to fuel another attempt. I also know from being close to the folks at Moo & Lou that these businesses watch out for each other - which I really like as it's a nice little safety factor. In the end, my star rating isn't changing but my appreciation for Fort Ben Pub has grown. This visit made me want to return in the near future, and it made me grateful for those places where you can get so comfortable that it feels like the people become part of your village. That's Fort Ben Pub.
