I have been trying for months to get the "Check Engine" light diagnosed and serviced in order to…read morepass inspection on my GMC Envoy (which was wayyyy overdue at this point). After visiting multiple auto shops I kept receiving such entirely different explanations for what was triggering the particular diagnostic codes and huge variations in what services would need to be done in order to fix the issues, that I almost gave up. As a young woman, I am well-versed in the stigma of dealing with employees in male-dominated service industries. Most women would rather go to the dentist than to a repair shop with the anxiety of possibly dealing with rude, snarky, dishonest employees. Not only did it not make sense that I was getting such different information from the service shops, but the manner in which I was treated was downright degrading. My family and friends told me to bring along my boyfriend in order to get up front and honest information. I explained that people can end up overpaying for services if they don't understand what's wrong with their car or the repair. This to me is unacceptable - I should not have to have a male standing beside me to be listened to, let alone actually HEARD. I did one more search and found BHC AUTOMOTIVE (which was only 6 minutes from me), and thought, "well, ill give this one more try". After replacing the "Secondary Air Injection Valve" as well as the "Fuel Pump Assembly" (NOT EASY WORK!)... I am happy to report I am now driving a legal, safety-inspected vehicle after months of headache! And for a VERY affordable price (almost half the cost of what others had quoted). Glen and his crew are bottom line - AMAZING. They are honest, genuine, trustworthy, reliable... I could go on and on. They are also HILARIOUS! I could have spent all day just chatting and I had never met these people. The fact that they made me feel so comfortable speaks volumes to me. BHC Automotive will have my customer loyalty for every car service needed no matter how small from here on out. TO BHC - YALL ARE: AWESOME - AMAZING - THANK YOU - THANK YOU !!!!

I live two hours away and needed a pre-purchase inspection for a used car, as well as some advice on related matters. On the excellent advise of Tom Schmidt at Victory Lane Quick Oil Change, I contacted BHC. While they were unable to look at the car that day due to existing appointments, I talked to Glenn for some time who freely gave me some very valuable advice. He was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful, not to mention generous with the time he had in order to help me. His advise helped me to take appropriate action that in the end led to my being able to purchase the car with confidence. While I may live some distance away, if ever I need a mechanic in this area again, I will surely contact BHC. I also felt compelled to put in a good word for them by way of this review to hopefully send more business to them on my behalf. Their phone number is 919-269-9601.

You might have to get their attention by calling out to them because they are working hard. Third- they are honest. Genuine. Sincere. Fair. They weren't trying to sell me anything. I thought my tire was for sure unrepairable and I needed a new tire. Ok, long story short. The tire wouldn't inflate anymore. It sat overnight at Sheetz until the morning to get towed. It was towed without issues to Solis. When we arrive, he immediately inspected it and said it's repairable. The valve just needs to be replaced. I'll do that and inflate it to be sure. 20 mins later he comes out, installs the tire; it was good as new. No leaks! Best part? $16!! My thoughts? He could've easily charged me for a new tire because I didn't know any better. He could've easily charged me for a second new tire because there was a large nail in a back one. At that point he might have convinced me for 4 new tires... but he did none of that. In fact, he made sure the second tire wasn't leaking air either before I left. This is the kind of customer service that small towns like Zebulon are known for. It's family run, small, and honest. Make the drive to Zebulon for their work- it'll be worth it.
