I am so glad that I did! It felt strange at first, leaving almost everything to others to plan - not even seeing my bouquet or the colours of the linens until 1/2 hour before the ceremony. The last week prior to the event, I even began to question whether I had made a huge mistake. When we got there and had a look at everything - it was absolutely perfect! I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. The ceremony was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and everyone involved on our day were so great, I can't even come up with words to describe it. Leading up to our big day, the staff always answered all my questions, whether by email or phone. They asked for pictures to get a sense of the colours we preferred and hit the nail on the head. We always felt accommodated and absolutely like ours was the only event they were planning. A special thank you to Katherine, who was absolutely amazing - knowing what to say to keep me calm, asking the right questions so she could correctly choose how to decorate for us, and having a great sense of humor. This venue is small - definitely not for a large wedding, but for the 18 guests we had, it was heaven. I absolutely recommend the Toronto Wedding Chapel if you have a small wedding that you want to be memorable but you're perhaps not the greatest at planning or just don't have the time. The only drawback was the photography. Unfortunately, about 20-30 pictures were pixelated and at least as many were blurry to some degree - however, they did send us almost 300 pictures (in less than a week!), so I refuse to give them less than 5 stars. The rest of the pictures (and there were a great many) were beautiful, and there were plenty to choose from. He responded promptly and instantly I knew he would be a great match to our venue. Every wedding needs music and dancing and Scott provided just that. He was excellent in communicating with us from beginning to end. We live in Chicago so he offered to have Skype meetings and it suited us perfectly. He helped us in choosing our music and making sure we were ready for the big day. He was also our MC for the day and we couldn't have asked for a better one! He got everyone dancing and that is what you want. He really knows his stuff and is very professional, but also becomes your friend. We trusted him 100% and were so happy with music for the evening. He even brings a phone charging station so no one will run out of battery taking photos all night! Overall, if you hire Scott for your event you won't be disappointed! We had so much fun picking songs and also gave Scott the go ahead to play what he felt was best. The wedding night was perfect. The music rocked! Scott made sure to keep the schedule on point and he also did all of the announcements. He was really a key player in keeping the wedding on track and did a great job at that! He had people on the dance floor from right after the ceremony till the wee hours of the morning. Another great perk was the cell phone charging station that he had beside his booth. I was blown away at the service that we received when we arrived - Jimmy showed me and my fiance around and was super friendly. The second time I came, I brought my mother & mother-in-law. The service was just as great. There were other weddings being set up, and it was great that I could see what the set up looked like before making any final decisions. I met with Ramy to finalize planning and pricing, and he couldn't have been more helpful by going over everything. The menu looks AMAZING, and the choices of alcohol is top notch. From beginning to end, planning was made a breeze as Jey made everything so seamless. It is stressful trying to plan your big day but Jey made this an incredible experience for not only us but our guests and vendors as well. The options he has for decor, food, alcohol, in house lighting and speakers, table numbers, and so much more are endless. You won't even need to book additional decor (did I mention he has a floral arch and a piano?). Jey is a busy man, but he remains attentive to your needs and wants for your event. We were amazed at his willingness to help and adjust if there is something missing. His staff are also top tier and can handle a CROWD. (Especially the bartender that night, he held it down) On our event day, not only did Jey help the floor manager throughout the event, he was also monitoring the event ensuring that everything is going as planned and really going the extra mile to ensure that the guests are satisfied.
