My gf's sister got hitched recently and the wedding reception was held in this venue…read more I believe we were on the clubhouse side. Had a nice view of the outside (the way the patio lights were setup during nighttime was cool) and the inside of the venue had enough space to walk around. The main bar was pretty big and there were 2 bartenders working the night. The bald one was a MUCH superior bartender in my honest opinion. He had banter, could make drinks well (creatively added some small flair to a lot of the standard drinks that guests were asking him to make) and also gave professional suggestions whenever he felt appropriate. The other bartender (who had curly hair and looked really young) was, I assume, quite inexperienced. There were times throughout the night where I approached him and he was on his phone scrolling through youtube. He made me the wrong drinks twice which was funny. I asked him for a tequila sunrise and he gave me a sex on the beach. I ordered a shirley temple for my gf and he made me a bloody ceasar (which has tomato juice in it and isn't remotely similar to a shirley) LOOOOOOL. Had a good laugh. Didn't take it too seriously as it was open bar, but definitely felt like he could've used a bit more training or practice. Anyways, dinner was pretty good! Wasn't a big fan of the salad. There wasn't enough dressing. The ravioli was cooked al dente which was great and they brought out a giant bowl for anyone who wanted seconds or thirds. I think the short rib entree was the best. The rib was super tender and the mashed potatoes were sooo smooth. Cheesecake was a nice finishing touch to round off the meal. Pretty cozy venue to host a wedding reception!

Attended a wedding here in late June for one of my gf's besties…read more The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a quaint, outdoor terrace for ceremonies and a massive dining hall for receptions (adorned by double bars and washrooms on both ends. This wedding was quite big and although it was very spacious for the guests, admittedly, it was slightly hard seeing (and hearing) the bride and groom as they were on a raised center cove that was slightly walled off on the sides. The mics were also dying I think and needed the batteries changed out. Food-wise, it is a different story. 10 course chinese food dinner which you would think is pretty standard but it was actually quite hit or miss. I understand that portion control is typically a judgement call made by servers when they come around but our servers were quite inconsistent portioning out the food (at least at our table). I got 1 strand of jellyfish w/ my suckling pig. Multiple guests at our table also got uncooked e-fu noodles on their plate when the noodles came around (the noodles were literally crunchy still LOL). Fried rice was very bland. Crispy chicken was overcooked to smithereens. The guy sitting next to me had several shells and cartilage pieces in his soup that he had to pluck out haha. The rest were pretty good. So like I said, it hit or miss items. I found the bartenders on the left side of the venue to be far more professional and knowledgeable. Some of the bartenders working the bar on the right side of the venue were giving sass to a lot of guests (especially when they didn't know how to make simple drinks) which I was ok with but I could see a lot of guests didn't appreciate the added sass. For late night grub, the burgers were actually not bad! As a recommendation to the kitchen staff management (in case they're reading this), I know it's just late night grub, but if you gave the servers at the late night bar a grill to melt the cheese on the patties that would be awesome. They were there serving poutine and compiling the burger toppings anyways! Melted cheese on those late night sliders go a long way! TL;DR Amazing venue, food hit or miss. Would recommend for the venue alone (but perhaps explore w/ a diff cuisine or dinner vendor?)

I strongly recommend trying their Espresso Martinis. I attended a gala here and it was perfectly organized. The appetizers. Entrée and dessert were delicious and perfectly decorated.

But I found the chicken was dry and they didn't have the greatest presentation as they didn't wipe off the sides of plates before serving. Had drips sauce on the side of the plate. The amount of sauce was inconsistent as well. I had more sauce on my plate then my friend's plate and I felt I didn't have enough sauce. Probably because the chicken was dry. The dessert we had was a crepe with ice cream inside and it was obvious that it was not made in house as all of the plates looked exactly the same like it was copied and pasted out of a machine. And it was obvious they prepared it way in advance because the fresh berries that were on the plate for garnish were frozen making it evident that it was prepared in advance and then placed in the freezer until serving time. We were served penne pasta with a cream sauce and farfalle (bow tie) pasta with olives for an appetizer and it tasted pretty good. It kind of made up for the not so great main course I had after. The salad we got with the dinner was fairly good. It was a simple mixed green salad with a balsamic dressing but it compensated for the dry chicken served with my dinner.

There is ample parking, very high ceilings, beautiful lighting and decorations, and large and clean bathrooms. The audio visual equipment was also very good as we watched multiple videos on large screens without issue, and the music throughout the night sounded great. Overall good vibe,…read more We signed up for guest list the morning of, so our cover was only $5 since we went before 11:30 PM (P.S you don't get a confirmation for the guest list, just sign up before the 9:30 PM deadline and you're pretty much on) The security at the front do a super thorough body check so at least your know the place is kept safe. Music was good, bathrooms were clean, but god damn, the reason for my 2/5 rating is because of the DJ. Let's just call him...10 second switch! Because that's right, 10 seconds after they start planning a song and you realize what the song is...BAM! Change of song! And while you might think that fast switches make for a solid variety of music, it ends up just giving you a headache. You can never really dance or sing to any of the songs because they kept switching so fast. Although the music was decent, this factor was kinda annoying and caused us head out early and just call it a night. I might return one day since everything else about the club was great, here's just hoping they have a new DJ by then...

My sister, her friend and I all agreed that it was the right choice to leave the club after 30 minutes. The club was upscale with the 2 weird gold statues and palm trees. The lightings and sound system were okay. NYE: The crowd was young and wild (it's nice to put it that way). Honestly, it was filled with people who just finally reached their legal age of drinking and alcoholics. It also had few butt-grabbing lovers and pervs. A guy held me up despite the fact that I tried hard to push him away and my sister's friends had to ruthlessly asking him to put me down. I was pissed because the bouncers didn't do anything about it. TWICE! THAT GUY CAME BACK TWICE AND THE BOUNCERS IGNORE IT!!!! The club was filled with drunk people as well. They were drunk, they didn't know what they were doing and again the bouncers just ignored them. They fell on the floor multiple times, stepped on my shoes, stole my NY hat and my glow sticks. The floor was wet and sticky. Broken glasses everywhere because someone decided to just throw their shot glasses there. The DJ was good tho! Second time I came back here: No, the music was just....slow and boring. I think it was for grinding lovers. Grinders were everywhere: at the booths, close to the pole, next to the statues.. everywhere! I ordered Jägerbomb and the bartender gave me Jack bomb which was really nasty (not a fan of Jack Daniel's) A convenient place if you decide to have some fun after a movie or Dave & Buster's but for sure you will have better experience with club scene downtown. Free parking tho:) But I'd rather go downtown, pay for a parking spot, and pay same price (or even cheaper) for cover, music, and drinks.
