The staff are professional and attentive, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you're attending a conference, trade show, or wedding, the centre offers a great experience with its convenient location and excellent service. They have ample parking spaces available in front and back of the building.

If you went to high school in Mississauga, you remember this place as the graduation place…read more I recently attended a wedding hosted at this convention centre, bringing lots of memories back from high school. From the background, I saw the contract, to being a guest. First off, the convention centre has some obscene contract terms, so be careful. The convention center has a large parking, it has spaces that are "unofficially" designated as outdoor smoking areas right near the entrance that are not enforced by staff (not great when you're a non-smoker). The foyer is used as a space transitional area for space flips, often the case with convention centres that use the space for ceremony and reception. The washrooms are available but discretely hidden, so can be hard to find. I think I visited it three times, was disappointed the floors were wet, especially when you're wearing a gown that trails or a gown with a train, because you're essentially picking up whatever water (or pee or fluids on the floor). Given the elegance of the interior, it would have been nice to have a designated washroom attendant like the high level hotels (not asking you to have someone hand out toilet paper like some 5 star hotels in Asia, but dry floor! Please!). I somewhat also expected a light sitting area to retouch make up for guest, instead the washroom counters were wet and gave me a echoing experience of a movie theatre washroom with teenagers struggling to fix eyeliners in wet counters with paper towel. The hangers in the stalls were nice. The venue had plenty of staff the donned white gloves that presented a level of elegance, I did see thongs fall and swiftly discarded with the same gloved hand as the person continued handling food ware that was on the table. Or staff moving decor from the reception with the same gloved hand then setting up food ware---/so there was a lack of hand washing and the gloves were really really really for show. At the table charger plates were worn, wine stains from previous guest not cleaned off chairs. But with dim light, it's pretty hard to see all these details- so just make sure light is dim at your event. :/ Despite these missteps, the venue was nice, it looked nice. Maybe I'm just the only person observing these little details. Side note, I parked my butt near the bar in the foyer- only one appetizer was served to me.?! I didn't think I was in a corner.

This place can host multiple events at the same time - I believe around 2-3. I like how they have coat hanging service right by the door. The washroom are big, spacious, well lit and clean. Evidently with the pandemic, COVID vaccination requirements are checked right at the door and masks are mandatory everywhere you go, except when you are sitting down and eating at the table. I like the open bar layout in the room I was in - it had a variety of drinks available and I love how it opens up to the grand lobby that's right beside it. This is perfect for weddings - doing some sort of mini photo booth; or birthday parties, where you can just hang around, mingle and see different table set ups. Inside the hall can probably host up to 15 tables or so. Great sound system, dance floor and high ceilings. I also like how they have spaced out the tablets are appropriate as possible to ensure social distancing. All the staff were also very accommodating and making sure each guests are served. It's tough nowadays with the pandemic to host large venues, but I'm glad Mississauga Grand was able to make everything easy to follow!

Being out of downtown Toronto helped with the cost, and with the price we paid, it included food, an open bar and an upgraded backdrop for our head table. Smelled like old gym socks. Asked to be moved. Got room 226. Not smelly, so I thought "fine". Then I tried to go to sleep...the aircraft noise, dear God, the aircraft noise. Well past midnight the flights go right over head. Spaced 1 minute 15 seconds apart. I know this because as I lay in bed, unable to sleep, head buried among all four hotel pillows, I could do nothing but count the seconds between the screech of jet engines overhead. Needless to say my 3 night stay was cut short after the first night. In spite of the poor location, suboptimal first room, and the unbearable noise, the staff were actually very polite and obliging. Credit to them given the circumstances.

The hall is good size, the decor is good too. The event started at 7 pm, the appetizers were good, there was white chicken, seekh kebab, pakorars, nuggets and many more things. Its good these kinds of events are planned so people who dont like the cold can enjoy the new years eve indoors. For main course we were served daal, rice, naan tandoori chicken, pasta and Goat curry along with many more. There were veg and non veg eaters. The Dj, was good , he was playing good music, fusion of cultures. The only thing which was not good was the bathrooms were on the upper level and there was only one bathroom on the lower level for the handicap. Even though it had a disabled sign, every one was using for convenience. No one could understand the host on the mic, the sound was really bad. A suggestion, should plan activities/games for the crowd.
