We were originally planning to have our small (immediate family members only) wedding at City Hall, and when I was searching for a venue to have a small dinner after I stumbled upon the Toronto Wedding Chapel. I am so glad that I did! It felt strange at first, leaving almost everything to others to plan - not even seeing my bouquet or the colours of the linens until 1/2 hour before the ceremony. The last week prior to the event, I even began to question whether I had made a huge mistake. When we got there and had a look at everything - it was absolutely perfect! I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. The ceremony was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and everyone involved on our day were so great, I can't even come up with words to describe it. Leading up to our big day, the staff always answered all my questions, whether by email or phone. They asked for pictures to get a sense of the colours we preferred and hit the nail on the head. We always felt accommodated and absolutely like ours was the only event they were planning. A special thank you to Katherine, who was absolutely amazing - knowing what to say to keep me calm, asking the right questions so she could correctly choose how to decorate for us, and having a great sense of humor. This venue is small - definitely not for a large wedding, but for the 18 guests we had, it was heaven. I absolutely recommend the Toronto Wedding Chapel if you have a small wedding that you want to be memorable but you're perhaps not the greatest at planning or just don't have the time. The only drawback was the photography. Unfortunately, about 20-30 pictures were pixelated and at least as many were blurry to some degree - however, they did send us almost 300 pictures (in less than a week!), so I refuse to give them less than 5 stars. The rest of the pictures (and there were a great many) were beautiful, and there were plenty to choose from. My sister had her wedding here. The space is very very small for 25 people but it was still a pretty nice wedding. It was nicely decorated. The workers were all very nice and thoughtful and had even asked me if I needed anything warmed up as I was with my two kids. The food is great! There was more than enough for everybody and it was really good. The manager of the place was very nice and hospitable as well. The place was clean. Of you're planning to have a gunshot wedding or intimate immediate family only wedding this is definitely the spot! read more

The first time I got married there were so many things that went wrong so this time I was so nervous and wanted everything to be perfect. I called the Wedding Chapel in December and after meeting Katherine that first day, was blown away. The space is so beautiful and romantic, I didn't look at any other venues, I knew this was the space for my wedding. Katherine took care of everything, even ordered special things so the image in my head was turned into reality. She confirmed every detail and triple checked everything with me to make sure everything was as expected. Little did I know it was beyond what I could ever imagine. It was totally stress free - Katherine took away every single bit of stress. Planning my wedding with her was so much fun. She made it happen beyond my wildest dreams -- On July 9th, 2016 my wedding took place and it was the most romantic and beautiful wedding I have ever been too and a few times I even told guests "I feel like Cinderella!" I truly felt like it because of the awesome job Katherine and her team did. I cannot thank them enough. Every single thing was on point, not a single flower out of place. I didn't want to leave, everything was so perfect. Romantic and Beautiful. I was late arriving and about to have a panic attack and it was Katherine that settled my nerves and told me to breathe. I knew with her there everything would be perfect, even if I was late...and it was =) The food was amazing, decor beyond words (Rustic Shabby chic was my theme) and the cake the best I have ever eaten. The staff made sure my husband and I ate and even made sure our two little ones ate as well. A booster seat and Highchair were there for added convenience. Paula performed our ceremony and wow, she made it so personal and flawless. I was sad to see the happiest day of my life end, it was just so perfect and beautiful. Thank you Katherine and everyone at the Toronto Wedding Chapel for making me feel like Cinderella and creating the most perfect wedding! David Tutera had better watch out, there is a Canadian Wedding Queen that can do circle around him when it comes to weddings. Thank you Katherine, you truly are amazing! read more

I was introduced to the Toronto Wedding Chapel in late May by a friend who was getting married there. Although I didn't directly work with the Wedding Planner, Katherine, the bride and groom mentioned that she was great to work with. The Ceremony and Reception was fantastic, the space is perfect for an intimate event. I would strongly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an elegant venue that seats approximately 20-25 people. read more

I would like to thank the Toronto Wedding Chapel for creating a beautiful, perfect, intimate and romantic wedding evening that I loved and always wanted. Right from the time of booking, Katherine quickly answered any questions that I had and was accommodating for any requests. It was a stress-free experience leading up to the big day, since so many details were already included in the packages. My guests loved the intimate atmosphere, the beautiful decor, flowers, the food, drinks and cake and the beautiful details. All in one place, we had the ceremony, photos, reception and dancing, which was a unique experience and everything ran smoothly! The setting was nice. But the staff didn't prepare well for the ceremony. No lighting, no candles, no bouquet & Boutonniere. And the room was cold. Make sure you get a responsible consultant if you plan to go there.... read more

We needed an elegant and affordable venue for a small wedding in Toronto and came across Toronto Wedding Chapel. This lovely one-room venue on Yonge St. between Davisville and Eglinton offers a maximum seating capacity of approximately 30. There are various custom packages from basic to all-inclusive. You choose the decor and the food and they'll tailor it to your needs. If needed, they provide the invitations, wedding cake, officiant, centerpieces, bridal bouquet and boutonniere, bridal change suite, music, outdoor sidewalk tent, appetizers, dinner, alcohol and non-alcohol drinks, backdrop, lighting, table settings, chairs and photography. Katherine, the co-ordinator, is readily available to listen to your requests and works hard to make sure your day goes off without a glitch. The only drawback is a lack of parking, which we overcame by chartering a bus to and from the venue. Our guests raved about how beautiful and perfect a venue it was! I highly recommend Toronto Wedding Chapel as an ideal venue for an elegant, intimate wedding. read more

They did 0 coordinating. - The vendors were contacting my wife and I because they could not reach the coordinators leading up to the wedding. - they were an hour late to our ceremony, saying they had the wrong address even though it was clearly on the planning pdf - they were extremely rude to our parents during the ceremony, to the point where my father had to blatantly say they shouldn't talk to people in that way - the catering was late in the morning, my father had to contact the vendors and figure out what's going on - We had to prompt them to talk to us leading up to our special day and took no initiative to assist us with the plan. - I tried calling them 3 times on Friday before to figure out slideshow. They did not answer or return calls, there was issues with setting up the slide show. They offered no help and our siblings had to figure out. Hiring these people was a complete mistake, did not even ask for a refund just want to warn everyone that this service was terrible.

When we met in person to discuss flowers and other design elements, she listened to us and helped us to make our final decisions while staying within our budget. When we met with our parents for a coordination meeting and met again at the venue for a final walk through, she was organized and on the ball, ready to answer all questions and to help us think through last minute logistics. The week before the events, there were a number of changes that came up and she did not bat an eye. On the day of both events, her flower arrangements left us speechless. She somehow brought to life everything we discussed and made it even more beautiful than we imagined! From a coordination perspective, she kept everything running smoothly, bringing us back on schedule again and again and, I'm sure, resolving lots of issues behind the scenes which we'll never know about, all with the help of her team of warm and professional staff. If anything went wrong, we still don't know about it! Throughout, in every interaction, Suzzette was kind, reassuring, and made us smile. It's a venue afterall so how it'll look will depend largely on your decor but overall the place looks pretty decently kept. There's a reception and coat check space when you enter (not wheelchair accessible unfortunately!), and it's all wooden flooring for those wondering. Looks roomy enough for about 10 large round tables. I came here for a corporate networking event and was shocked that the staff there were in sneakers, casual wear, full out tattoos showing - I know it's the 21st century but I mean if it's a corporate event, I would've expected the staff to at least try and dress a little better. Sound technician wasn't too attentive at his job either. Overall, I don't think I'd host an event here unless I had a really tight budget.

The food was delicious and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was. The bouquet that Katherine got made for me was exactly what I wanted. The waitstaff were efficient & very friendly. Everything went off without a hitch. We got to dance the night away and Katherine took care of all the details so we could concentrate on getting married and having a great time with our guests. Everton was a fabulous photographer whose patience and professionalism made all the difference. Our photos are beautiful and a wonderful reminder of that magical day. My Husband and I had a private wedding at this venue, it was just the two of us and no guests. It couldn't have been better even though the staff were our witnesses, they were warm and caring and the officiant said all the right things for our vows. Our pictures turned out beautifully and the bouquet they let me use was gorgeous and in good taste, as was the decor. It was definitely more romantic than a courthouse wedding and I'd even trust them had we wanted more people there. They were kind and seemed to really enjoy the business they are in. I know that a person gave a bad review about Katherine's phone manners which is possible but could have been a fluke incident. She was very pleasant and patient to us even though we changed our minds 3 times about what date we wanted. The price was fair and we have no regrets about choosing this place or each other...lol. read more

Having worked in customer service for over 12 years for the top bank in Canada I demand/know excellent customer service. I ususally decide if I am going to do business with a company based on the services I get on the phone and the very first time I contacted Catherine via telephone I was veryyyyyyyy impressed with the reception I got and right away I decided that this is where I was going to have my wedding(August 2013). When I met her in person I was blown away even more. She has the most pleasant and patient personality I have ever interacted with. She exceeded my expectation with ideas and suggestions for my special day and thats what EXCELLENT customer service should be. We had a fantastic experience here! When we got engaged we chose a date that was only a month away, I don't know how a wedding as beautiful as ours would be possible without the Toronto Wedding Chapel. This service was exactly as described - sweet and simple. Katherine and Everton went above and beyond to make our day extra special, checking in to let us know that everything was sorted and making sure we had all the paperwork ready. On the day of the wedding the time went so quickly but they never made us feel rushed or pressured to leave. The food was perfect, the location was beautiful and we got so many gorgeous photos. My husband and I (I still can't believe we are married now) got married on February 21, 2015. We wanted an intimate ceremony with our close friends and family. Katherine and her staff offered us everything (and even more) of what we were expecting. The chapel was wonderful, I was delighted by the cozy setting and the decor was like I imagined. The catering was amazing, the food delicious and the wait staff really professional and welcoming. We met in Toronto 5 years ago, moved here recently, we couldn't imagine to get married in another city than Toronto. Thanks to Katherine who made it possible. I got married at the Toronto Wedding Chapel in December 2012. I am so THANKFUL i chose this venue over any other - I couldn't have imagined it any more perfect than it was. We had the sit down dinner package with all of our closest family and friends. The food was wonderful - everyone went back for seconds! Our minister performed the most heartfelt ceremony as though she had known my husband and I for years. Our theme was pink and silver and they incorporated this into the floral and centrepieces. My new husband and I got married here just this past weekend (9/24) and it was a really amazing event! All I basically had to do was pick a colour theme and the ALL the rest of the details were taken care of for me! Also, the food was excellent, all of my guests loved it! The decor and music was spot on and the photographer was great as well. Very highly recommend this place to anyone hoping to have a small sized wedding at a great price in Toronto - especially if you're like me who can't be bothered with all the stress and costs that come with a big fluffy wedding. As common to every to every bride-to-be, my sister got extremely nervous when the d-day got really close. So as the maid of honor, I was really concerned and asked around about good event planners that will really do a good job and put our minds at ease. We called Katherine and set up an appointment to see her and I was immediately drawn to her. She is very professional with a personality that will put you at ease,and a really nice environment. Katherine and her Team are extremely wonderful and professional. We had a wonderful day. Katherine went above and beyond for us and was always there to answer all of my crazy questions.
