On the day of our wedding ceremony, Reverend Lau arrived early to fully explained to us the necessary details of the provincial regulation with regard to the matrimonial matters. He then officiated our wedding ceremony with a most dignified solemn yet relax manner which left us with wonderful memories of this big day marking the beginning of our life together as a married couple. He told me he is available and don't need to sign anything. 1 month before the wedding, called me in a middle of night telling me he can't perform my ceremony because he already booked for someone else. This is after I have confirmed with him and check with him regarding his availability 2-3 times in the past few months. This guy did try to book a friend of him for me who is also an officiant. 3 weeks before my wedding, his friend called and txt me saying that she needs to be going on a vacation. Now I am left with no officiant. I highly recommend you to find someone else in case your wedding got screwed like mine!!!

She was supposed to arrive to the venue two hours prior - that's what was communicated. She did not call, email, text or answer her phone. Very concerning and extremely unprofessional. The only stress I had on my wedding day was from our officiant. I am writing this review - almost a year later because it still haunts us. Having Martin Frith as our ceremony officiant was one of the highlights of the wedding…read more Unfortunately, my wife and I had our wedding postponed twice due to Covid. We finally celebrated our marriage with a ceremony and reception 2.5 years later. At this point we were already legally married and had a 1 year old daughter. Martin stuck with us over these 2 years and I am so glad he did. Despite of the postponement, Martin never charged us with an additional postponement fee (unlike other vendors). We met virtually on Zoom and he asked all the right questions to get to know our story in a short period of time. He even managed to get my wife to tear up during the process (which I found amusing, but not my wife). On our special day, he delivered a great introduction to our story including how we met and how we got engaged. He also coached us into writing our own vows, which ended up being the most heartfelt, meaningful and emotional part of the wedding day (a little unexpectedly). Martin really does a superb job being an officiant. I am amazed at how quickly and well he got to know us, even after only one virtual meeting. Martin also seems like a great person with a hugely positive personality. I give Martin and Ceremonies With Choice my highest recommendation.

Very unhappy with the whole experience…read more We booked a simple "make it legal" wedding service for $275. On the day of, she came in and literally just started setting up papers. No excitement or courtesy at all and it really killed the mood. I guess we didn't pay enough for our officiant to show some positivity during the wedding? It also would've have been nice to tell us what's happening before saying "ok sign here". Our marriage registration didn't even end up making it to the government. I understand this sometimes happens with the mail, but I would've expected the officiant to take some responsibility. Instead she asked me for $50 to send it again as what we paid only includes 1 shipment and she would have to pay to send it by tracked mail this time. I just went to Canada Post myself and bought a prepaid envelope for $20! I even had to drive 30 mins (one way) to pick up a copy of the registration from where she was working another job, as she didn't want to drop that off to me.
