First of all, Aaron picked up the phone and called me within two hours of my inquiry, whereas other companies just sent me back messy, unprofessional emails. Aaron and I talked for a bit, I told him what I was looking for, he tempered my expectations (politely, I might add!) and he told me what kinds of services were available and what he would recommend. He sent me over a contract very promptly and it was very easy to make the decision to choose Impact. Out of the gate, I knew that if we went with Impact, we would be in very good hands. Aaron wasn't hesitant to call me so that we could discuss details and pricing on the phone; he went so far as to call me to verify all of the details we had discussed over phone calls and emails just to make sure he had everything down right. As the day got closer, there were some details that I just hadn't had time to finalize. Aaron called me to gently remind me that he needed them and in the end, we chatted on the phone and figured it all out in 10 minutes! He was able to provide appropriate music recommendations for the various parts of our ceremony and reception and basically helped me finish all those last minute choices. We didn't have an MC and I wanted a DJ that would be able to handle that piece of the day and Aaron NAILED it. People thought that he was a close personal friend, that's how good of an MC he is! He kept the momentum going throughout the night and kept in touch with me as things changed or if we had any hiccups. We can't say enough great about Aaron - our guests are still raving about the dance floor (we ended up having TWO dance floors because people were having so much fun dancing) and how great the music was. I've been banging around in the local music scene since i was 15 years old. I know bands, I know music gear and I was 100 % satisifed with this musical purchase, trust me I have a lot of Fender's and Gibsons... It was essential for us to hire a band as we had been to so many weddings that had the standard DJ and it's... it's... not good. Humans need to make music to REALLY get people to GROOVE. The same old thing was not going to do our wedding. We sifted through over 65 demos and Stereoflavour was the pick of the bunch. Great website with good demos. Our venue so happened to have an excellent stage and lighting rig. We wanted to make sure everyone had a great time dancing and having fun. Stereoflavour provided in spades. Their youthful vigour and sweet harmonies had butts'a'shaken all night long!! In my circle of friends, we would refer to a band like this as "tight". Always on the beat, playing very danceable versions of all our favourite songs. The Drums and Bass were always on point, pumping the grooves and keeping that ever so precious meter always steady and right 'there'. Soulful Sax played with great attitude mixed with tasteful guitar licks. Clean male harmonies splashed in and out, as he really laid some sweet Strat tones. That fully layered approach to their presentation really makes the songs pop. We were very impressed with the 2 female lead vocalists, as they put down some of the finest melodies and harmonies that thrilled my music loving friends and family. It was spectacular. All of their equipment was of great caliber in terms of sound quality and appearance, no metal shredder stuff that might offend. The volume was under control, our venue is a performance space so it naturally lent it's acoustic brilliance. It helped the music flow without any annoying echo! With 3 lead singers, 2 female and 1 male, keyboards (complete with Keytar for you music nerds!!) guitar,bass,drums and killer saxophone player we got a great show and huge response from the audience/guests! The energy from the dance floor was being shared on the stage and we were all rewarded with an awesome night! Stacey was brilliant to deal with. Professional, on time, and kept a very open communication with us. She was reliable and We got exactly what We paid for. The best Toronto cover band for the best price. She really did deliver and She is a phenomenal singer and keyboard player. She gives Jordan Rudess a run for his money (If you know who that is, then you know...She's "that" kind of good :) We would never hesitate to recommend this group. The day of, he got everything down pat for the ceremony, did a great job in playing the genres we chose, transitioned/faded/cut exactly as discusses, and kept the crowd going during reception. Prices are very reasonable, as they have different packages you can choose from. We personally got 8-9hrs or service which was perfect and came with lighting. His set up was very good in terms of sound and technology. Our guests were able to request songs via text as well. We booked with her and then met up a few months later in person to discuss our musical tastes. She TOTALLY "got us" and our vibe and made some great suggestions on what to play, including introducing us to Lizzo. After meeting with her in person, we felt so excited to dance at our wedding! Day of, working with Lucie was perfect. She set up equipment outside for our ceremony and inside for cocktail hour. She is a total professional, which was especially evident when we noticed that our processional song was running out before we walked down the aisle (our coordinator mis-timed it) and Lucie seemlessly looped the song back. We also had Lucie take on some of the MC skills and she was awesome, not to mention very understanding when it came to all of my last minute emails beforehand. When it came to the actual dance floor it was amazing, I actually never left the dance floor! Our friends are still talking about the awesome playlist, and the older crowd too!  We had so much on our minds day of and it was amazing that Lucie set everything up/tore down and did everything so perfectly that we didn't even need to think about it!
