Whenever we'd message her we'd get an almost instant response, and she'd reply to many (many!) messages per day. We got a great deal on their services through a website that offered good deals, and they're one of the vendors we're very happy with. The owner, Rod, was also very helpful and would go out of his way to make sure we could take advantage of the offer they had. When the time came, we went to their office to see what lighting equipment they had to offer. There were tons of options, from all sorts of intelligent lights to uplights to projectors and screens. Brent, one of their DJs, explained everything to us and made sure we got a package that was exactly what we were looking for. Until we get married, we have the task of coming up with play lists (do not play, please play, cultural music requests, etc) using their extensive and user-friendly website. We feel very confident that our experience with them will continue to be a good one, as we have never (ever!) had any reason from them to believe otherwise. He also provides live jazz music for special events, and so my friend recommended him to me for my soon-to-be sister-in-law's wedding shower reception (I was throwing the shower for her - bridesmaid's duty). Well, I was very impressed. The band was well dressed, arrived on time, was super polite, and best of all, played beautifully. We hired the band to play as a jazz trio (no singer, though we had that option), and the volume they played at was perfect and the song list was great. There were no added fees to the price they quoted (which was very reasonable, by the way), and when their time was up, they quietly packed up and left. We are considering having them back for the wedding cocktail reception in the fall.

We were originally planning to have our small (immediate family members only) wedding at City Hall,…read moreand when I was searching for a venue to have a small dinner after I stumbled upon the Toronto Wedding Chapel. I am so glad that I did! It felt strange at first, leaving almost everything to others to plan - not even seeing my bouquet or the colours of the linens until 1/2 hour before the ceremony. The last week prior to the event, I even began to question whether I had made a huge mistake. When we got there and had a look at everything - it was absolutely perfect! I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. The ceremony was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and everyone involved on our day were so great, I can't even come up with words to describe it. Leading up to our big day, the staff always answered all my questions, whether by email or phone. They asked for pictures to get a sense of the colours we preferred and hit the nail on the head. We always felt accommodated and absolutely like ours was the only event they were planning. A special thank you to Katherine, who was absolutely amazing - knowing what to say to keep me calm, asking the right questions so she could correctly choose how to decorate for us, and having a great sense of humor. This venue is small - definitely not for a large wedding, but for the 18 guests we had, it was heaven. I absolutely recommend the Toronto Wedding Chapel if you have a small wedding that you want to be memorable but you're perhaps not the greatest at planning or just don't have the time. The only drawback was the photography. Unfortunately, about 20-30 pictures were pixelated and at least as many were blurry to some degree - however, they did send us almost 300 pictures (in less than a week!), so I refuse to give them less than 5 stars. The rest of the pictures (and there were a great many) were beautiful, and there were plenty to choose from.
