We're still reeling that our wedding was only a week ago -- it truly was the party of a lifetime!…read more Lucie was an absolute dream to work with. From the start, she collaborated with us to weave our eight-years-in-the-making playlist into the night, and she completely nailed it. Every song hit perfectly, the transitions were seamless, and her MC'ing kept the energy high and the flow effortless. We lost count of how many guests came up to tell us how incredible the music was -- and they were right! The vibe, the pacing, the way she read the crowd... it couldn't have been more us. If you're looking for a DJ who can mix talent, intuition, and pure fun -- Lucie's the one. We can't wait to dance to her beats again, hopefully during Pride season 2026! -- Drew & Jared

We booked with her and then met up a few months later in person to discuss our musical tastes. She TOTALLY "got us" and our vibe and made some great suggestions on what to play, including introducing us to Lizzo. After meeting with her in person, we felt so excited to dance at our wedding! Day of, working with Lucie was perfect. She set up equipment outside for our ceremony and inside for cocktail hour. She is a total professional, which was especially evident when we noticed that our processional song was running out before we walked down the aisle (our coordinator mis-timed it) and Lucie seemlessly looped the song back. We also had Lucie take on some of the MC skills and she was awesome, not to mention very understanding when it came to all of my last minute emails beforehand. When it came to the actual dance floor it was amazing, I actually never left the dance floor! Our friends are still talking about the awesome playlist, and the older crowd too!  We had so much on our minds day of and it was amazing that Lucie set everything up/tore down and did everything so perfectly that we didn't even need to think about it! I definitely had some "wedding vendor regret" and Dialed in DJs was NOT one of them. Lucie was friendly, professional, up beat, and I highly recommend her! Thanks Lucie!

The St. Royals were the heart and soul of our reception. I can't imagine the night without them,…read moreand can't recommend them enough. We're from out of town, so it was their website that initially won us over; this was clearly an amazing group of performers, and their song selection was precisely what we were hoping for. From there, we got into Skype contact with James, who was immediately charming, obliging, and very practical. Which set another precedent: that this is a group of professionals. There was zero friction in the preparation. Could they travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake? Absolutely. And stay late? Sure. Learn a song? Yes. Accommodate a father-daughter dance, pause their set for a brief ceremony at midnight, play something on loop for a traditional Slovakian wedding dance? No problems. And they had recommendations and advice at every turn. The day of, they showed up early and handled all their prep. They managed to tiptoe in during the speeches, perfectly timed for the first dance. A miscue on our part was handled in stride, and all night they were totally attentive to both us and our guests. It goes without saying that the music was incredible, that everyone was up and dancing, that the vocalist was out of this world and that our man James killed it on trumpet. Having the St. Royals relieved us of so much worry. We had no qualms about relying on them, and our experience bore that out: they were consummate professionals, and amazing performers. Our guests are still raving about the quality of the music. And please, whatever you do: don't forget the brass.

He hooked into the speakers at the venue, and we had absolutely no technical issues. The DJ matched the playlist that I requested with songs that mix in well with it. I presented him with R&B and he filled in extra time with Motown that was a nice warmup that pleased the different ages of guests. He brought a multi coloured light that added a very nice pop to the dance floor.

Whenever we'd message her we'd get an almost instant response, and she'd reply to many (many!) messages per day. We got a great deal on their services through a website that offered good deals, and they're one of the vendors we're very happy with. The owner, Rod, was also very helpful and would go out of his way to make sure we could take advantage of the offer they had. When the time came, we went to their office to see what lighting equipment they had to offer. There were tons of options, from all sorts of intelligent lights to uplights to projectors and screens. Brent, one of their DJs, explained everything to us and made sure we got a package that was exactly what we were looking for. Until we get married, we have the task of coming up with play lists (do not play, please play, cultural music requests, etc) using their extensive and user-friendly website. We feel very confident that our experience with them will continue to be a good one, as we have never (ever!) had any reason from them to believe otherwise. Once we booked with DISC Jockeys Unlimited, we received excellent emails with all the details needed to plan our night and even had the choice of selecting our own music play list. Ivan was so patient with us and answered all our questions we had in the weeks leading up to the party via emails and phone calls. The night of the party Ivan arrived early and set up his area which was so professional and clean looking, I was very impressed. Ivan was so personable, and throughout the night either came to myself or directly to my daughter to ask questions about music and time lines. The music was excellent, everyone was up partying the entire night, I even captured Ivan on one of my videos dancing behind his set up, awesome to see. We can't thank Ivan enough for a great night, he did a fantastic job. If we ever need a DJ again I would definitely hire Ivan for sure. Thank you so much for an amazing night. Sue & Taylor

I was extremely appalled at the horrible services provided by S4, an umbrella company of Peter &…read morePauls. I hired them because of their advertising and reputation for providing exceptional entertainment services. I COMPLETELY REGRET HIRING S4 and Peter and Pauls. We provided them with a music list of songs to play and indicated clearly that we want the DJ to play music with the same vibe. We hired them for a very special occasion which was my 50th birthday party at a hall and we paid their fee of almost $2000 because we were assured that we would get quality services. We got the worst possible services in that the DJ kept playing 70s and 80s music when we specifically outlined in the agenda they provided us thar we wanted current music like the music list we provided them with and they promised to follow. The inappropriate music the DJ kept playing throughout most of the party ruined the atmosphere of the party and our guests felt awkward as did my husband and I. Our guests did not feel like dancing to this music and asked us where we got this DJ from. They told us that the music selection was very bad and that it made them feel awkward. My husband, best friend and I approached the DJ and asked him politely to stop playing this old music and to play current music, including playing the music list we provided to liven up the party because nobody wanted to dance to the music he kept playing. The DJ listened to our request however he completely disregarded our input and he kept playing this older and inappropriate music. The entire purpose of hiring S4 and Peter and Pauls was to ensure we had a party atmosphere where everyone would dance to celebrate this milestone birthday. They completely failed to provide us with quality music and as a result our guests were not inclined to dance and a lot of guests left early because the party wasn't lively due to the horrible music selection the DJ was playing. The DJ also failed to provide any interactive activities with the guests as was promised by S4 and as indicated in the agenda we provided them with. The demeanor of the DJ in his discussion with us was indifferent and cold. This demeanor was also observed by our guests who noted that it looked like he didn't want to be there and showed absolutely no enthusiasm or even a smile while he played music. This is completely unacceptable in this industry to conduct oneself in such an indifferent manner. In addition, we noted that he drank several cans of beers and lined up the empty cans in a row on the stage. We found this very unprofessional and disrespectful to us and our guests. This is disgraceful behaviour which demonstrates a complete disregard for our party. The DJ provided by S4 didn't even know how to properly hold the microphone and speak into it. He had his mouth right on the microphone which caused a big distortion in what he was saying when he addressed the audience. My best friend had to show him that he had to pull the mic back to be heard clearly. The DJ brought 2 speakers and subwoofers, but he didn't even hook up the subwoofers and/or they didn't work. This was very apparent in that the music he played had absolutely no base. As anyone would agree having no base in the midi would most certainly affect how well the music is heard and felt by people. We went through the extra expense of hiring a videographer to have beautiful memories of this milestone celebration, however this was a waste of money because the footage reflects the horrible atmosphere created by the DJ. It's extremely sad and disappointing that I can't get a redo of this party because the damage has already been done by S4 and Peter and Pauls. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the services provided to S4 via email, S4 dismissed my concerns and informed me that they fulfilled their contractual obligations and stated the following: "I do apologize that your experience with S4 was not what you were expecting however music is subjective..." A response like this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional as any reasonable person would agree. In light of the horrible experience I had with S4 and Peter and Pauls, I personally would never recommend their services. PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHO YOU HIRE.
