I would give this store 0 stars if possible. I am an individual who likes to support small businesses. So when I had to purchase a bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding I found this place fairly close to my job at the time I was so excited to order from here. There was a young girl who helped me and she was completely helpful and so informative regarding the dress order I and answering my fitting questions! I ordered the dress in OCTOBER and was told it would take 3 months to get here which was completely fine since the wedding wasn't until March I was told my dress should be in around January and that I would be called once it was in. The second week of January rolls around and no phone call, not even a courtesy call to let me know when my dress will be in around. So I took the liberty to call. The sales person I felt with was Patty she couldn't give me a status of my dress or even find the order at the time I called. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. It took her a day to get back to me letting me know the dress isn't there yet and that I would be called when it is. Another week and 1/2 rolls around, no phone call, no dress and NO UPDATE. I gave them the benefit big the doubt that maybe it was busy with the new year around and took the liberty to call again. I spoke to PATTY again and was told that my dress HADN'T EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. The manufacturer was never followed up with and it would be 3-7 more days until my dress got there. At this point it was COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE and when I asked to speak to the manager I was told he wasn't available and that he was on lunch and she didn't know when he was coming back. I asked the manager what was going on and he offered me a discount if my dress arrived later than the 3-7 days. I never received a discount. When I picked up the dress here was only one associate there to help me and low and behold it was the same lady. She never told me what she was charging my card and charged it while I was examining my dress, I checked over my receipt before I signed and was snap chatting my friend about picking up my dress. Patty began to yell at me asking why was I recording and that I can't do that. Mind you there is a sign in there which states no recording or photography of yourself in the dresses. I was simply paying. I asked her her name and she refused to give it to me. (The receipt says it so big mistake). The owner then chases me while I'm exiting the mall trying to give me excuses as to why this kind of service is acceptable. This place is Unprofessional, unreliable, more pricey than if I had went to a corporate center not to mention the poor customer service who have clearly not been properly trained to work with clients. THINK 3 times before coming here, then turn around and don't. read more

Staff was rude and they wanted to charge for alterations on a $210 dress that was purchased there. When I addressed it the lady got mad and had an attitude. After the alterations were done and the slit which I payed additional for was not how I asked they charged me $10 more. To make things worse I tried on the dress and it was tight on my waist instead of just suggesting to widen it a bit which they did. The lady said multiple time how I need to lose weight so I can fit in the dress and before I walked out she continued with remember what I said just a couple pounds. For my oldest, she picked a dress from their order book and they called and said yes it was available and what the price was. They ended up ordering a different dress because the one she wanted wasn't available after all. They didn't ask if the other dress was ok with us. Luckily my daughter liked it even though the top and the straps were different and the color was a little different as well. For my second daughter it was a disaster! We ordered a dress from their book. Tried it on when it came in and she looked beautiful! The only thing was that it needed the length hemmed and some mesh added to the front as the neckline was a little lower than what she was comfortable with. When they finished the alterations, the dress did not fit her at all! It was about 4 inches from being able to close in the back. The young sales girl asked a few times if we had them take the dress in on the sides. We told her no just the hemming on the bottom and adding a small piece of mesh to the chest area. They answer was to add a corset to the back which completely changed the look of the dress as there were appliques and designs to the top. There was no other option. The owner made us pay for more for the additional alterations after we already paid for the alterations to the length. Later when we picked up the dress the sales girl said the owner was having a hard time with personal issues and problems and maybe mixed up the alterations in the first place. The point is they destroyed the dress, were unprofessional, and proceeded to have me pay for their mistake. I let it go as to not embarrass my daughters, but will not go there again. She was so rude to me and my mom today , we were looking for a green dress and told her the party was going to be in a week and kindly asked if there would be any dress available. Then she told me "no way ur going to find anything nope no no not gonna happen , not at all" so unnecessary and uncalled for.she said more stuff but I just can't remember what it was. It's not like the dresses there were even worth her gross attitude. The ladies there used to be so nice a couple years ago but ever since that lady was hired it went down hill. Will I be back? NO! I needed a bolero and a veil for my daughters First Holy Communion. Came in and went directly to the register.... Stood there waiting to get acknowledged.... waited some more.... Finally a lady DOESN'T say "Hi, may I help you"?.... She says "Yes"? I say "Can you help me"? She says "That's what I said"! No lady that is not what you said! We get past that little hiccup which I'm already irritated but yet I want to see what they have! Cheesy shoes, ugly tuxedos made of polyester for boys, a few gowns and catalogs of veils and tiaras! I also noticed catalogs for Quinceñera dresses that I myself would not allow my daughters to wear! I did purchase a pretty plain veil for 30 bones and a bolero for about 20 bones! (I know. I know. Overpriced!) We get to the register to pay and they total came out to 84 dollars! How? Tax? I wouldn't have noticed because I was busy with my little girl but the hubby was eagle-eyed right next to me and caught it! We got an apology but it makes you think how many times this happens! One star for the veil! I wish I could at least give two stars but it's unjustifiable! read more

Horrible customer service!! If you are a curvy person please let me spare you the humiliation my mother experienced today. I was told two weeks ago when I first walked in that they carry all sizes up to a 5x. So when I took my mother and the rest of the ladies in the bridal party today I was so upset to hear the one lady who was in the shop. She looked at my mother up and down and said can I help you that's when my mother said yes my daughter spoke with you and the lady cut my mom off and said we don't have your size we only carry slender size and the largest size they carry is a 5x. She then proceeded to tell her that she wouldn't fit in that size since she is too big. My mother is a 2x. What should have been a happy experience turned into tears. Needless to say we left after I had some words with her and found a great dress at David's bridal. I 100% do not recommend this place. They need to be more compassionate with all sizes not just their opinion of regular sizes. She then proceeded to tell the lady who was her same race and was a curvy woman that's what wrong with those kinds of people. She was racist and discriminatory towards my mother. read more

Came in to find a dress.. looked at their catalogs, & found the one I liked. They told me that they can order it for me to try on. The told me, the dress will come in 4 days after & they will give me a call. 5,6,7 days had passed, no calls from them, so I decided to call the store to get status of where the dress is. I spoke to this lady who was a bit rude and speaks only a little bit of english. She told me that there was no order made for the dress. I was furious! I was about to get another dress from another store because of the customer service I received was unacceptable. After 3 days, they called me, again saying the dress arrived to their store. I was so confused, but "oh well" right? So I came in that same day to pay the dress in full, & AGAIN, they told me that I would receive it by next week. The lady who assisted us stated that I would get a text message when it arrives. After a week, no message was received... months had passed, yet the dress hasn't areived yet! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Terrible experience. We made an appointment for my sister's wedding dress fitting and alterations and the designer/seamstress didn't show. We were told that she was having her car repaired but we were not informed that she was running late. Our whole family took the day off for this appointment. I purchased a dress for my brothers wedding, after 2 weeks I took it out the bag to try it on with the heels I had just purchased. While trying ut on the beads were falling off and the dress had strings sticking out. I wasted 200 dollars on a cheap quality dress. When asking if I could return it or exchange it they said no they have a policy where they dont accept returns or exchanges. Now I am stuck with a cheap quality dress that is falling apart. Buyer beware! The sales person will measure you, recommend a dress size and won't explain that you need to make alterations; which of course cost extra. Be willing to lose your money, if you buy at this place. They charge you 50% upfront, and don't do refunds. My main complaint with this place is their deceiving sales tactics. The employee took measurements and supposably compared them with a size chart for the brand of dress. She could have easily said the bottom will fit her but there is a big difference in bust size so expect to pay for alterations. This place does not do refunds or exchanges so you will lose your 50% deposit, unless you're willing to waste more of your money with them. read more

I walked in and was informed that there is a charge of FIFTY DOLLARS to try on wedding gowns. Outrageous. I turned around and left. Any wedding planning book will tell you that this is a rip-off move. There are plenty of affordable salons that will charge you $0 to try on as many gowns as you like. And think about it....if they are going to nickel-and-dime you just to try on the dresses, what sort of fees are they going to slap onto the purchase of the dress??? Offensive!!! (P.S. I went to the other end of the mall and tried on some very nice dresses at Bonita. Cost to try? ZERO DOLLARS.) read more

If you want poor customer service and low assistance in selecting the proper dress for your occasion, then use these people. The dresses don't arrive on time, they measure you incorrectly and will not credit you your 50% deposit if they ordered the wrong dress or the wrong size, they won't negotiate with multiple orders or repeat business and expect to be overcharged with alterations (which is required because they measured you wrong and ordered the wrong size for you). All other yelpers are correct with their complaints with this business. Don't use them - walk away with your money and positive attitude because these people will suck both from you at the end of the day! read more

The associate advised me to set up an appointment to try on bridal dresses when I walked into the store. I was not charged any fee to try on dresses. This occured early this year. Perhaps their rules have changed. Anyway, their bridal collection in the store is limited. They encourage you to look at their catalogs of authorized dealers. The drawback is that you don't get to try on the dress from the catalog if they do not have it in the store. You only try on the bridal dresses that are in their store. The store is more focused on quinces and prom dresses than bridal dresses. They do have a collection of veils and accessories in the store. Therefore, I give a thumbs down on their limited bridal dress selection, but thumbs up on veils and accesories. read more

I went into this shop with my family in search for my sister's quinceanera dress and we were immediately greeted by a nice lady named Patty. She assisted us the entire time with great professionalism and a great attitude. we expressed to her that we had been looking for a dress in many other places and just could not find something my sister liked. Patty took her time with us looking through the catalogs and the dresses they had at the store. finally we found a dress my sister absolutely loved and she measured my sister perfectly when we got the dress it fit beautifully. I came here to check wedding dresses and it was a coincidence i ran in to this store since I dont live anywhere near this area. I made an appointment and gathered all my friends and family to join me and to help me pick my dress. When we showed up the associate spoke to me and asked me what kind of style I was looking for and I told her lace dress. Well when I was there she pulled out all of the lace dresses and I tried on probably about 8 and non of them looked nice on me. Finally the associate told me to try a different style that I should try other types she brought me a dress that made my friends and family scream.. I found the dress! The only reason why I did not give a 5 star is because the associated who helped me told me I should order a small dress since brides tend to loose pounds.... when I ordered I the dress didnt fit I worked out and worked out and Im 3 months before my wedding date, I panicked and thankfully WDC was kind enough to help me switch dresses for a bigger size since it was not my fault the associate took the wrong measurements. I walked in to the store,greeted at the door. I notice this is not a regular retail store is a specialty occasion store. I was asked if I had a Special Occasion attire in mind. I notice the store is section Bridal with appointment recommended but not required depending on the availability of the associates. Mob or mog gowns are next to bridesmaids and civil ceremony. The quince gowns are displayed at the windows and prom, evening wear,cocktail and gala dresses are on the main floor. They even have tuxedos too. So, my boyfriend recently proposed and I haven't been anywhere to look at dresses because the wedding is set for Valentine's Day next year. So, I decided to take a look as I passed by the window for the first time. I browsed for awhile and the young girl, Michelle was just so sweet. She wasn't pushy at all. She convinced me to try on a few dresses, it wasn't that hard as I have been wanting to try dresses on since the proposal...I picked a few dresses and they were beautiful but not on me...then she brings me a dress she picked out and it was the best dress I have ever put on. It was flattering and perfect for what I was looking for. From the sale rack! I didn't purchase it but, I will tell you when I am ready to actually purchase a dress it will be from this store. Michelle really knows her stuff. Excellent sales person. She was personable and professional. I just came from work killing time before I picked up my Fiance from work. Honestly, i dont know where to start, so that is pretty much telling you where this is going. My experience at this store was the worst i have ever had. The employees were very unprofessional and had no clue or knowledge on wedding dresses. The customer service was horrible. When i walk into a store, especially when shopping for my wedding gown, i expect to be greeted with happy smiling faces and warm hellos. This was NOT the case at WDC gowns. To add to this, out of the 10 dresses i picked out from their catalogue, they only had ONE!!! (and this is no exaggeration). Is you are going to give out your information at a Bridal Show (which i attended May 19 2013) and you want people to see your dresses online, make sure that you have them labeled correctly and that you have MOST of them in your store!!!! After the only dress i tried on, we left. We were only in this store for 20 minutes, and thats all that i could take. The dress materials were not high/nice quality at all. This was such huge waste of my time, and you can bet i will NOT recommend this place to anyone that i actually like. No one should ever have to experience the poor service that I did. read more

Went in looking for a prom dress & had been getting excellent service from Brianna on picking out a dress, but then Patty stepped in and killed the whole experience for us and stole Brianna's sale. We tried on a style we loved in a size small which fit my sister perfectly. When we went to place the order in a different color, Patti kept on insisting she get a medium. We said no, small was fine, but she continued on to ask us if we were sure about the size six other times & she did it in a style that was calling my sister fat. Worst experience EVER!!! I made an appointment to try on wedding dresses when I went in I was told I can only try on three dresses WTH! Because I did like one of the dresses I decided to book an appointment with my 7 bridesmaids I was told a deposit amount if we were to order with them "which I planned on doing" during my appointment after five girls were measured and fitted I was told the full amount would be required. I'm thinking that's not what you told me the lady was so rude to me and stated this isn't Walmart where you can deposit 10.00 and put in an order, as if I know Walmart rules I do not shop there for clothing ( obviously she did) so I bi-passed her smart remarks and asked if my last two girls could be fitted, she tells me no not if your not buying the dresses ( which we were going to purchase them regardless of the terrible service ) after she denied to fit my last bridesmaids I decided to leave she yelled at me are you kidding me so your not buying the dresses, then she wanted to make a deal with me as me and my 7 girls left not buying there 200.00 dresses, 200 times 7 you do the math as we continued to walk out she started rolling her eyes and giving major attitude, such a terrible location with terrible employees. I went to Bonita's Bridal in the mall after and the lady stopped what she was doing fitted everyone plus discounted the dresses because I had over 5 girls, I will be getting my dress from Bonita's as well. read more

My daughter and I went in there to see if they had a specific dress. we looked around with no one offering help and finally went up to the employee to see if they had it. She said that we needed an appt to try on a dress.....THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE STORE. The lady was not personable at all and to be honest, if we found the perfect dress there, we would NOT purchase it there. This is supposed to be a fun and happy experience, and being there was anything but happy or fun. My advice, skip this store. Waste of time. read more
