I would like to tell you about my amazing experience with Wedding Bands & Co. and designer Koorosh Daneshgar. The journey began in April when I was doing online research on jewelers in downtown Chicago. I was appalled at most of the websites! Many looked like they had been made 10 years ago and others seemed to just be "because we need a website" sites. I did not feel confident that any of these stores would give me the special experience my engagement deserved. The store's website, https://www.weddingbandscompany.com/, stood out from the others on Jewelers Row. It was modern, elegant, and far more informative. I especially appreciated the hundreds of designs which were displayed with prices. But what really grabbed my attention was the section on custom engagement rings. I used the online form to schedule my first appointment. I first met with Mory, the store manager. He greeted me warmly and began by asking about my plans, design ideas and budget. He pulled out some rings and stones based on my ideas and he took copious notes. He then explained the process of creating a custom ring and laid out timelines and expectations. The following week I met with Chief Designer Koorosh Daneshgar. This was the moment which solidified my belief that I had come to the right place. Koorosh is down-to-earth, very friendly, and extremely creative. He took out the notes which Mory had made as well as a look sheet which I put together and began sketching out a design right in front of me. It was amazing to watch my ideas come to life! I received a full rendering of the first draft not long after (Koorosh uses professional 3D software to create his designs). I was speechless when I saw it. I had described in simple terms what I was looking for but what I received was rich in detail and beautiful beyond compare! I had a few notes for the design, which he quickly worked in. My anticipation built as I waited for the next step to be completed - the 3D wax print of the ring. The day finally came, and he put the physical draft in my hand. It's hard to describe that moment - the enormity of what I was setting out to do finally hit me. I could see and feel every detail (minus the gems). I could imagine surprising her with the ring. I felt joy, excitement, love, and gratitude. I approved the design. A higher resolution 3D print was made to cast the ring. This last part of the process took a few weeks, and we were getting close to my proposal date. Koorosh and Mory knew the date and the ring was shipped to me right on schedule. The ring was exactly what I had approved and more - it was elegant, as if it had been made for a princess. I'm an average Joe working a 9-5 office job but Koorosh and everyone at Wedding Bands & Co. treated me like a VIP. I was greeted by name when I entered the store. I was given personalized attention. I received regular updates on the progress. In short, I felt special. And when I proposed, I knew I was putting the most beautiful ring on her finger. Thank you Koorosh and everyone at Wedding Bands & Co. for helping to make my proposal one of the most special moments of my life! read more

If we had to use one word to describe Wedding Bands Company by Koorosh Daneshgar it would be OUTSTANDING! When we arrived at WBC, we had already been to local jewelers in the suburbs, chain stores, jewelers row mall, and several other jewelers along jewelers' row; we had literally seen thousands of rings within a few months including those found online. By now, all rings had begun to look very similar, yet, my fiancé held out hope that I would find that one ring that was 'It' for me. When other jewelers were closing for the day, we walked past Koorosh's store and it was still open for another 30 minutes. Skeptically, we went in and were warmly greeted by The Ringmaster himself. There were several beautiful rings in the display, but they weren't what I had in mind. Koorosh asked me to describe what I wanted and he actively listened while I obliged. He disappeared for a moment and brought back 5 rings, each one more beautiful than the next...any one of them would do! It is important to share that he is the ONLY jeweler out of all the establishments that we visited that truly listened to what I was describing and was able to deliver. Koorosh was quick to share that we could customize any ring or build one from scratch. We set up an appointment and returned to begin the design process for our own unique ring. Koorosh had rings available for inspiration and also had suggestions of his own. With our input, Koorosh designed the masterpiece that I had spent so much time searching for. He warned that it would be a long process, but the end result was worth it. The diamonds are of very good quality and sparkle brilliantly...and the setting...well, it's simply breathtaking!!! We've received a myriad of comments on the show-stopping ring and have been handing out Koorosh's business cards and referring friends and family as we know they will be in good hands with the white glove service of his staff and Koorosh's magnificent works of art! When you go to his store, ask to see his book and also take time to look at the many drawings of other rings he has created, for Koorosh is truly a master at his talent! Thank you, Koorosh, for creating such a beautiful symbol for the start our lives together! We are looking forward to having you design the wedding bands as well. With much respect and warmth, Wayne and Sandra. read more

Our experience with Koorosh at Wedding Bands & Co was truly exceptional. Although I'm not one to typically leave reviews, my experience was so incredible that I feel compelled, almost obligated, to share it. I can divide my experiences with more than 15 jewelry stores into three categories: quality of products (stone and band), uniqueness, and customer treatment. In terms of quality, Koorosh has everything you want to see in an engagement ring: the best bands, impeccable stone cuts, and the best and finest color and clarity. However, what distinguishes Wedding Bands & Co from the other competitors is Koorosh's impressive designs. We were a group of four people visiting stores, and we all agreed that Koorosh's engagement rings possess "personality" and that special touch that you are looking for in such a special ring. While other stores may offer comparable quality (though rarely), Koorosh's unmatched talent as a designer elevates his creations and products to a league of their own; it sets his creations apart from anything else available elsewhere Despite all I have said, my favorite part of Wedding Bands & Co, and Koorosh himself, is how they treat their customers. We were a group of four young and enthusiastic friends eager to try and examine every single stone and band possible. Hence, we were quite demanding and made numerous requests to see various options (emphasis on "numerous"). Yet, Koorosh never stopped smiling, accommodating our requests enthusiastically, offering advice, and even cracking a few jokes. The experience was so enjoyable that we took selfies with Koorosh and even recorded some great videos that captured everyone's joy. It was actually sad to go to other stores and see that only a few treated their customers correctly, and none with the same enthusiasm, respect, and willingness as Koorosh's There is so much more to say and so much more to commend Koorosh for: his help with the insurance and the appraisal, his life story, etc. Our experience was truly unforgettable, and I've made it a point to recommend Wedding Bands & Co to all my friends searching for an engagement ring. Thank you, Koorosh, for an exceptional experience. My future wife and I were overjoyed with her ring, which holds a special place in our hearts. read more

My lady and I randomly wandered into Wedding Bands & Co. during a weekend getaway to Chicago. Engagement rings had been a topic of conversation in prior weeks and we decided to check out the jewelry district. Wedding Bands was the last of several jewelry stores that we browsed. Terry Hanley assisted us and immediately distinguished himself from the other jewelers we had met that day. Terry welcomed us into his office and explained that Wedding Bands was able to create both designs that my lady had in mind. He was patient, describing the process involved in creating a ring on site, answering all of our questions, and producing a number of diamonds for us to inspect. We kept Terry some 10 minutes after close; he accommodated us. We left Chicago that evening certain that we had found the right jeweler for our needs. Over the next few weeks, I stayed in contact with Terry, arranging the design of the mounting and planning a return trip for selection of the diamond. He was always accessible and provided me with a very helpful digital rendering of what was to be the finished product. My lady and I returned to Chicago and sat down once again with Terry. We inspected the mounting which had been designed to our specifications and literally spent 2 1/2 hours scrutinizing diamond after diamond until we found the right one. Terry made a naturally time consuming and stressful process much simpler and easier. This was because of his expertise and patience, as well as Wedding Bands' resources. Any of you guys or couples out there in the Chicago area stressing over rings or bands, stopping by Wedding Bands & Co. will be well worth your time. Their team certainly took great care of me. read more

We had a rocky start when we first interacted with the Wedding Band Company. The first person who helped us (Jim) was friendly to deal with. We saw him several times to check on the progress of our wedding band order, and despite telling us that everything was on schedule, we came to find out 1 week before leaving for our wedding that he did not even place the order (for reasons unknown). At this point, Jim had already been let go by the Company. Needless to say, we were left in a pretty tough spot. The owner of the company (Koorosh) learned the details of the situation and took over serving us. This was a big reason why we didn't take our business elsewhere. He spent quite a fair bit of effort in coming up with a better design and guaranteed us a finished ring before our departure. We had two or three meetings with Koorosh and each time he was patient and courteous and showed that he wanted to fix the situation and do everything in his power. The ring finished on time as Koorosh promised and turned out much better than we expected. We've been back to the Company since our wedding to have my wedding band resized and again received great service and attention from Koorosh. Even though our initial experience was not so great, we can see that Koorosh really does care about building strong relationships with his customers. read more

I am still seething after my experience here one year ago. I am also still owed work on a custom ring I had made for my husband for our 5th anniversary. Jim worked with me and seemed so competent and friendly. But as we got close to the pick up date for my husband's ring, I heard nothing from him, even after calling. I needed the ring for a specific and agreed upon date for our 5th anniversary. I went into the store and not only was the ring NOT READY after I had paid in full, they had me stand (very visibly pregnant) and wait for OVER 1 HOUR as they rushed to have someone do a half assed job of finishing it up. I also missed a flight with my husband to go celebrate our 5th anniversary. And, the inscription is STILL not in the ring I paid for. Customer service - Initially tricked and though it was around a 4 out of 5. After standing on swollen legs just being made to wait indefinitely for a ring that was already about a week late while they rushed around last minute - UNACCEPTABLE. When you are in the business of dealing with people's special moments and lots of their money, I have a expectation of excellence. This place did not come close and actually ruined the beginning of my 5th anniversary and my surprise of a beautiful (as it was not so beautiful) ring for my husband. read more

My fiance and I went in looking for engagement rings. We actually visited 4 other disappointing jewelers in the Diamond District before stopping at Wedding Bands & Co. The other places we looked at seemed very shady and unprofessional. However, upon arriving at Wedding Bands we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Oscar helped us find two beautiful stones and a great classic setting within our price range. He was very friendly and knowledgeable which helped us in making the decision. When we left, my fiance and I knew that this was the place we wanted to get our ring from because of the exceptional service and presentation. I visited two more times without my girlfriend to work out the details with Oscar. He was very helpful in figuring out reasonable payment options. Each time I visited, he even remembered my girlfriend's name and asked about her. He definitely comes off as someone who genuinely cares about his clients' satisfaction, instead of a salesman who is just out to make a buck. The rings was ready in less than two weeks and they were even able to promptly resize after I realized I told them the wrong ring size. My fiance loves the ring and we plan to go back when it is time to get our wedding bands. I highly recommend working with Oscar at Wedding Bands & Co! read more

This is a one of a kind Chicago treasure! I had no clue of what I was looking for in an engagement ring, or wedding band, but Koorosh and Wedding Bands Co. made everything extremely easy. My husband and I were trying to coordinate 3 family rings, and the diamonds they held, into my engagement ring and wedding band - and also into HIS wedding band! They took great care with these family heirlooms, and assessing the diamonds they held. There was also a large amount of respect from Koorosh and the company for the vision you hold about the rings you will be wearing forever. It was a painless step in the wedding process! The rings I have are unique to me, with so much family history - and since I have a few diamonds left over from the rings, Koorosh already gave my husband a fabulous idea to incorporate those jewels into my one year anniversary gift! Smart guy! We will be going to Koorosh and his company for special gifts and ring maintenance forever. They are intelligent, and speedy workers, with great consideration for you and your wedding ring details. Thank you thank you thank you!! read more

What more can I possibly say about Koorash & Wedding Bands & Co. but that my entire experience with them has consistently been nothing but amazing! My now husband worked with Koorash to design my unique and absolutely perfect engagement ring last year. Once we got engaged, he told me about how amazing it was to work with Koorash and I honestly could not believe that my "dream come true" engagement ring was designed & came to life just for me! We both ordered our wedding bands from Wedding Bands & Co. as well and, of course, my band was specifically customized to match my engagement ring. My husband's band fits him so well (both measurement & style); needless to say, we are both extremely satisfied customers! Not only does Wedding Bands & Co. design the most amazing pieces, but the people that work there are also amazing. Any & every time that I've been in the store, I always was welcomed by smiling faces and professional attitudes. It's truly been a wonderful experience working with Koorash and his people & my husband and I look forward to working with them in the future! read more

Every girl dreams of going ring shopping, however when I started ring shopping it was less than thrilling. There were so many choices and the experience became very stressful. Wedding Bands & Co was recommended to us by my fiancé's coworker. We made an appointment online and he responded right away. Mory, the store manager, called me and he asked some questions about what I was looking for and what was important to me. I told him that I was stressed out about the ring and that the experience was not fun. He told me that when we come in, all that would change; I even started feeling better after we spoke. We went in and he showed us different stones and we discussed what was important for us. He then showed me a ring that was custom made. At first I wasn't sure if I would like it and I almost didn't want to try it on, but once I put it on, my fiancé and I knew it was our ring. We will be going back to get our wedding bands there and hopefully a lot more jewelry in the future. Thank you Mory and Koorosh for making my engagement experience the best!! read more

The staff at Wedding Bands Co. was outstanding! Victor was super helpful from the minute we walked in the door. We are wearing family heirloom wedding rings and bands from my grandparents and they went out of their way to preserve the integrity of the design and the stones by being completely honest about what they could do and how they could do it. We also had to have one of the rings sized down because as it got colder we realized it was too big. They were great about helping us with this and insisted we stay while they did it as we waited. We have also brought a necklace that needed to have a link soldered and this was done quickly and we cannot tell where it was soldered together. I highly recommend Wedding Bands Company for their customer service, friendliness, and definitely quality. We will come back again in the future for all jewelry needs. read more

This is a wonderful jeweler- Koorosh, Terry and the rest of the team are professional, talented and kind. Koorosh has created several pieces for me (including my engagement ring and wedding band) and always goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I will not go to another jeweler. Most recently, he converted my great-grandmother's wedding band into a more modern piece that I can wear. He is very receptive to customer feedback and spent a lot of time with me in the preparation phase to ensure that the design was something that I liked- giving me great advice but not pressuring me to go one way or another. My friend and I went to two other stores in Gold Coast (think Instagram target advertising kind of stores) to try on engagement rings for the first time, and were so disappointed because there weren't a lot of options, it was very rushed, and it seemed their favorite word was "no." We decided to just walk-in to Wedding Bands Company since it was across the street. Needless to say, we are so glad we did! Mury made the experience wonderful and fun! They had every option you could think of and allowed us to try on whatever we wanted. They told me to call late in the day before the day I wished to bring in the rings and they would confirm the availability of their repairmen. I got to see a CAD rendering of the ring, and then a mold before it was made. The finished product was perfect. I have since referred them to several friends and my brother. This isn't the place to go if you want a perfect ring--this is the place to go for impeccable customer service, knowledgeable staff, and beautiful artwork. It was worth every penny. read more

The engagement ring that Koorosh and my fiancé designed is absolutely breathtaking! Koorosh worked with my fiancé to design the ring of my dreams based on the rings I liked on my Pinterest board and Koorosh was able to 3D print a few rings for my fiancé to choose from. The quality of the ring is outstanding and Koorosh is very professional and easy to work with. I also had to have my ring resized a few times and he was very flexible about that as well. If I could give more than five stars I would because this ring is perfect! read more

We were able to get a great GIA certified diamond with a custom band at a great price. I had a specific date in mind and Imperial worked to get us the ring in less than 2 weeks. My fiancé and I were on the hunt for my dream engagement ring. I had a very specific image in mind,…read moreand we looked at many different jewelry stores throughout California. However, I was unable to find the exact setting that I wanted for an oval diamond. We found out about Imperial Jewelry Company through a family member and reached out to Terry. I verbalized with Terry the specifications I had for my ring. All I told him was that I wanted a platinum skinny half pave band set for an oval diamond we had already selected. It sounds simple enough, but this was difficult to find! Just days later, he updated us that he already produced a mold of the setting that had the specifications of my gem. Then, I was completely caught off guard because just days after he sent us a picture of the mold, the entire ring was completed and on my finger. When I received the ring, I was honestly blown away - it was exactly what I wanted. The most impressive part of this entire experience is Terry's ability to understand his clients' needs. I didn't even show him a picture of what I wanted, but just described to him what I wanted. I couldn't believe he knew the exact thickness of the band I wanted just based off of the description of "skinny," and letting him know I had slim fingers (lol). He has an incredible breadth of knowledge and experience that allows him to correctly interpret even your most vague requests! We were so pleased with our experience with Terry that we've also asked him to custom make our wedding bands too! I would highly recommend Terry for all your custom jewelry needs.

Unfortunately, Gage does a terrible job with taking accountability when they post custom made…read moreengagement rings before a proposal. It's easy to assume that an engagement isn't happening the day a ring is picked up and they can ask if a date has been planned so that they can pre-schedule a post. And honestly, stop blaming it on being a small business when you have over almost 200,000 followers combined on social media

The appointments are very quick, no frills, and I had to do all of my own research. We left my second appointment with little to no information (didn't know my ring size, what ratio was, ideal clarity and color for the cut we chose, etc.), and were just told to select a stone and purchase the ring on their website. Unfortunately, my ring was also posted on their social media just days after my fiancé picked it up. During the checkout process, they have an option to add a "TikTok Video" when making the final purchase, which we deliberately did not add because my fiancé did not want the ring to be posted before he proposed. They also never asked him if they could post the ring. Based on our friends experiences with other jewelers, we thought it was reasonable to assume an engagement jeweler would wait to post until after the proposal. They posted without asking, and of course, our friends and I saw it on their socials. We definitely felt like "just a number" when it came to those parts of the process. Besides that, everything was great. During the design process, Frankie was very responsive and helpful, and the ring turned out beautifully. I love how customizable their rings are, and the customer service after we'd selected a diamond was great. I am definitely happy with the outcome, but would just make sure my friends have done their own independent research ahead of their appointment, and are very clear with Gage about social media expectations ahead of time.

When we decided to get married, I knew a few things as it pertained to a ring:…read more * One ring, no engagement ring and wedding band * No traditional center stone setting * Something unique * Nothing crazy expensive * I needed to talk to Sarah at Bowen Arrow I've known Sarah a long time and had seen some of the beautiful rings she's helped friends buy and design. I had a strong idea of what I liked and disliked. I found a few rings online that I adored, but hated the idea of buying a ring online like I might buy garden hose. I wanted to be able to ask questions, change things to fit me personally, and actually work with someone face-to-face. I have no idea how many times we met overall - my guess is at least 4. Sarah helped guide me in my choices, answered all of our questions, was patient with my indecision, and had the tolerance of a saint when our cats would prance on the table as she pulled out stones. In the end, I got something that is unique, whimsical, not extravagantly priced, and feels very me. The hardest part was not wearing the ring once I got it; it was my call to go with only one ring, but I loved it so much I wanted to wear it immediately. I may or may not have pulled out pics and the ring itself to gaze at it several times before the wedding. I got lots of compliments from friends and family on the ring. I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Bowen Arrow and would recommend it to anyone in the market for jewelry.
