I do not recommend doing business with WebEyeCare, based on my experience with them. And I will not do any more business with them, and make sure people I know do not either. I placed my order for contacts. The confirmation said I should receive my order between 5 and 10 days. I never received any information about the status of my order, which after I called them myself, they told me that I was. I double checked to make sure I am right. No, I was not. Once I finally called them they said my optometrist said that the prescription was expired. I never received that my former optometrist didn't approve this. As a result, I never received any information from them and, when asked to get the processing fee refunded after the order was cancelled, they refused to do so. I placed an online order for contacts, and the next morning my doctor notified me she had made a mistake on the prescription. I notified Webeyecare immediately and was told "No problem, we will send you the corrected lenses." After a week, I checked the website and it said my order was "pending." I called Webeyecare again and was told the order was sent, and the website would reflect this the next day. This did not happen. Instead, a few days later, I got an email that the package was out for delivery. The lenses arrived, but they were the wrong prescription. I called Webeyecare and was told "it's not our fault, because the order had already gone to the factory by the time you called with a correction." I was told a return form and box would be sent to me to return the bad prescription for a corrected one. They were not willing to send me the correct prescription until they received the old one back, all of which will take some time, even though I said I was running out. Here are the issues: sending out the wrong Rx after telling me they would send the right one, denying any responsibility for this, not having a web site with proper order tracking, and not making things right until I returned the wrong lenses back to them. They take a week to "process" your order, then tell you (only if you call to check) that the lenses are on back order and that they "may" ship in 7-10 days from the warehouse. I was shocked that my contacts arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I was skeptical about ordering from this site, because 1. It was much cheaper than 1-800 contacts and 2. I had read some mixed reviews about contacts arriving damaged or taking forever to arrive. I decided to just order one box in case it took longer than 5-8 days to arrive, or in case the contacts came damaged or dried out. This was my first and LAST time using Webeyecare. I ordered contacts on 6/1/20. As recommended to save time (that's a joke!), I uploaded a copy of my prescription. As soon as I completed my order, I noticed the status read Backorder. I called to find when they thought I could expect my order. The rep said backorders usually shipped within a week. Ok - that would work. A week came and went - no contacts. I called again, and the rep said they would be shipped on 6/16/20. On 6/16/20 - no contacts and status still read Backorder. By now, I'm almost completely out of contacts. I call again. This time, I get an answering service. (They claim 24/7 customer service. Take it from me, this isn't customer service.) I explained my situation, and was told someone would contact me the next day. It didn't happen. I went on their site and sent an email - no reply. Contacts status still read Backorder. A few days later, I sent another email - no reply. Called and once again got the answering service. Left still another message. Still no call back. By now, I'm livid. I understand things being backordered, but why can't someone return my calls or reply to my emails! Finally, on 6/22, I talked to an actual rep, who said she didn't know why my contacts hadn't been shipped because it looked like to her they were in stock. What!?! I asked to speak to a manager. While the manager apologized, she still gave me no reason why I haven't received my order, or why no one returned my calls or my emails. She told me my order should be on it's way, and I could use the tracking number on their site to track the order. That's when I told her that the rep I spoke to before her said that the tracking number wouldn't work because it was a UPS number and not a USPS number. Then, she agreed that the number wouldn't work. Why even post a tracking number if it's not even for the right carrier? Anyway, it's 6/24/20, and I still haven't received my contacts. I have a subscription to receive contacts every 90 days. They notified me my subscription was going to ship soon and let them know if there were any changes. I let them know I had a prescription change and sent it along. 4 days later I get a response that they can't open the prescription. I resent same day. 4 days later I get another response questioning the prescription. I send a response same day. Finally they send me an invoice to pay. I pay it right away the same day on 11/25. My order did not ship until 12/09 so I had run out of contacts already. I never received shipping information either and had to look up the order everyday to find out when it would ship. ZERO stars... The WORST customer experience I have ever received online. Yeah the prices are good, but the communication is spotty at best. I scanned and sent them my prescription, paid extra for expedited shipping and they sent the wrong contacts. I can only assume I am required to send them back the old ones, after filling out some archaic paperwork with my order information and prescription information AGAIN. I say I can only assume this, because I am now at 3 days with NO RESPONSE to my persistent questions via email. Really, how hard is it to say, no sir, we can't do that without charging you. The point is, I don't care, I'd pay for the right set cause the credits are all going to work out anyhow. I was able to find a coupon after doing a little searching which really helped. My only issue is the processing fee. Most of the optometrists I have been to would let me return unused, unopened boxes of contact lenses if my prescription changed. This recently happened, so I contacted Webeyecare to see how I could return some unopened boxes and re-order new lenses that matched my prescription. I was told that this is only possible in the first 30 days. Stupid policy. Whose prescription changes within 30 days after it was issued? But within a year? Definitely possible. I'll make sure never to order from these guys again even if it costs me a few bucks more from my local optometrist. read more

But that is no automatic or something because it did not happen which is very disappointing when spending nearly $200.00, $20.00 is a bit of a regret to have missed out onI need a lens that's suitable for astigmatism which drives high moisture content daily wear prices up. Thought I ordered correctly online, and I uploaded my prescription. I had a problem trying to get 1 box per eye the drop down online would not let me put 1 box for my right eye.me vent though I provided my prescription, I was sent 2 boxes for left eye. Contacted customer service and woman who answered said she was new and would have someone call me back. I waited then I called back and spoke to Cole. He directed me to return 1 box and email his the tracking number and once he had that, he would ship out correct box. I did what he directed the same day. It is now one week later and I have not received confirmation of correct lenses being shipped despite many emails asking the status. I'm considering reversing the charges to my credit account.
