I needed a buzz & fade ASAP since it's really starting to warm up out here. My normal barber didn't have availability for almost 2 weeks out, so I hopped on Yelp & looked for barbers in my area. I definitely couldn't wait 2 weeks, let alone 2 more hours of having hair. Since Weber's is a 5 min walk from where I live, Michelle was the first barber I contacted, & she was able to fit me in at noon. It was a pleasant surprise seeing as how difficult it can be to schedule same day appointments for anything nowadays. Michelle does stellar work, as my buzz & fade are absolutely on point. I highly recommend her & will 100% be coming back to see her again. Whether you live on Maui or you're visiting, if you need a cut, shoot her a message on here or call & check her availability. I'm a conservative older guy. I'm new to Maui and I needed my getting-shaggy hair put right. Lots of great reviews for Michelle, but more "current" styles: fades, shaved heads, etc. Michelle gave me the best haircut I've had in 30 years. The best head-shave I have ever had in 18 years. I've been shaving my own head since May 2000. It's pretty easy. Plug in my clippers. Shave my head. Shower. Get on with my day. Super simple. If I travel for longer than a week, I bring my clippers with me - I like a clean cut every 7 days. I've been in Maui for a week now. I'm from Canada... so I flew to Maui without my clippers - I'm saving on the weight for the scotch I want to bring home. 7 days on the island - started beeling a bit shaggy... so I googled "baber near me". That's how I found Michelle. Booking was easy - I phoned from my mobile. Left a voicemail. I wouldn't be long before Michelle and I sarted trading text messages and booked a time. I was booked in for the next day. GUYS... if you're like me and catch your self thinking, "Just shave my head, it's really that simple. Really, how hard can it be?" Can I tell you, Michelle made the simple act of shaving my head feel like a gold medal championship of hiar cutting. I have never felt so spoiled... first she took delicate care with a double-zero guard. When I thought she was done, she dusted my head with a big brush and nice smelling powerder to, "find any straglers." Then did some more cutting - going after those pesky straglers. Then she warmed up some shaving gel in her hands, applied it to my neck and cleaned up the edges with a straight razor... SNAP! I haven't had the fresh razor treatment since I was in the military (22 years ago). Then with a warm damp cloth she wiped down my whole head. Oh, and she trimmed up my eyebrows... apparently I had a few "stragglers". Heaven. Period. Just, heaven. I gotta say, I felt like royalty. I didn't want it to end. What I thought would litterally take 5-7 minutes seemed like 20 or more. I felt amazing, and ya, I look great too ;-) The best $20.00 I've spent on Maui. Thanks Michelle. Michelle Weber is one of the best in the hair salon/barbershop business. A one time natural blonde, I came to Michelle with over-highlighted and then dyed red, very damaged hair. My hair is very fine and fragile and I was told if I wanted to take it back to blonde I would have to cut my hair super short and let it grow out. Michelle had researched a special product that would protect my hair while it was being dyed. Long story short...she she was able to take my hair back to blonde with very little damage to my naturally fine delicate hair and in a much shorter time then I thought possible. She is reasonably priced, does her research and recommends inexpensive products and treatments that really work. She also rocks the men's and boys haircuts! read more
