Great food for a great price, I went to Webbers with a friend and didn't really want to go there but I am glad I did.

This place seriously needs renovation or to be replaced altogether. I was only inside for about 10 minutes, and the conditions were unacceptable. The ceiling was leaking, the restaurant itself was dirty, and I could hear coughing coming from the back where the food is prepared, which raised serious hygiene concerns. On top of that, their Facebook page appears to support racist content, which is extremely concerning. The menu was poorly maintained and looked like it had been drawn on, and they're not even selling real crab--just "krab," which feels misleading. I used to frequent this place. It was never my first choice for Prime Rib but it was always decent if I didn't want to travel too far. I know a lot can happen when new owners take over but I'll never go back again. Ordered a 12oz rare prime rib, a baked potato & fried okra. VERY DISAPPOINTING! The potato was Luke warm at best. They gave me a new one & it was just as bad. I immediately told them then was left sitting there for 25 min waiting on a new potato while my steak was getting cold. They brought me a third one that was still not hot but "better" than the other two. So in a nutshell, I ate steak with no potato then a potato with no steak. How hard can it be to get a hot potato? It seems that it is no longer a steak house. The appearance is the same, but the steak is really not very good. Unfortunately I couldn't even eat it. It made me sad because they are obviously trying. Service was fine. The house treat made w butterfly shrimp and a spicy creamy sauce, was delicious, so maybe the Asian food is promising, but don't eat the steak here. They were awful. Bland. Pretty sure they charged my man for a ribeye and gave him a sirloin. We won't be going there again. read more

Me and five of my friends went to Webber's on March 4. I ordered a filet mignon medium. It had no seer and looked like it had been boiled gray and very well done . It was tender, but had relatively little flavor. The salad was OK, but was mostly lettuce, no croutons, no tomatoes and no cheese. It also had WAY too much dressing. The potato was (I swear) no bigger than a kiwi fruit.. my friend had prime rib and it was probably not even an eighth of an inch thick. Our meals certainly weren't worth a $80 we paid for it. Webbers Steak house, not what you expect from a Steak House. More of a local restaurant. That being said this is where the locals eat, and for reasons. To start it's kinda dumpy looking but one step inside gets a "Hey Y'all sit anywhere" from the staff. Our waitress was the sweetest nicest person with a little south Florida accent and southern hospitality. Two of our group had chicken breast and one had fried chicken- like an entire chicken it looked like. The last member of our group was "the picky one" we had not found a place in Daytona Beach yet that was up to her standards. We play a game to see how many items she can sub or remove from any dish. She selected the pork chop and for the first time in a week had no complaints and even compliments on the dinner. All in all not a pretty appearance but good food, reasonably priced and the staff couldn't be beat by anyplace else we have been. They also set a place by the door for the missing soldiers - that goes a long way with me. So if you happen to stop in and your waitress is a blue haired girl tell her you heard she was awesome. read more

This is the place to go if you like prime rib, I know there's other places in Daytona that have great prime rib, but I'm telling you, this one has really good prime rib. The absolute BEST value in Daytona Beach! Great service, excellant food! Funky no frills little place you have to look for, but well worth the effort. I got the king cut prime rib and my wife got queen cut. We got side salads, glasses of wine, a piece of homemade red velvet cake big enough for the two of us, and coffees. Enough left to take home and enjoy for another meal each! It cost us less than delivered pizzas and salads and a single dessert the night before!! Can't beat that! No frills just great steaks, prime rib and potatoes, baked or fried! Webbers does have a small salad bar with just lettuce & tomatoes and a few other essentials. It also has pickled beets, a surprisingly good extra I tried for the first time. I once drove over from Orlando on a business trip just to have a medium rare fillet for lunch. still the best prime rib in town. They have an 8 oz on their early bird 4-6 pm menu for $20 with 2 sides. Cooked perfectly. Service is quick (wasn't particular friendly but got the job done.) My wife and I dined for the first time at webbers steak house. We did not know what to expect. What we found was a very friendly cozy place with outstanding food and great service. I had the early bird prime rib which was excellent and my wife had a fried shrimp diner which she very much enjoyed. This locals go to was recommended by my husband as it was one of his old haunts. He said they had the best food. The stroganoff came recommended and I can say; thank you young lady! You were right! Served piping hot chicken with all freshly homemade sides and very tasty with bacon in the green beans and cream corn. Drove past this place for almost 5 years and decided today we wanted to have prime rib. It was a busy night but we were greeted immediately. 3 of us had the prime rib and one had the beef stroganoff. The homemade salad dressings were delicious and the prime rib although a little on the rare side was great and worth the visit. Not to mention the beef stroganoff had a great flavor and the tender tips were perfectly cooked. Our server was attentive and we felt welcome during our entire meal. I am so mixed on this review...so bear with me! My father in law wanted a steak. Someone in the lobby told us to go here. Website stated it was closed so I called, patty told me yea they were open. So off we went. Pulled in and several folks were out chain smoking right out of the kitchen door and when we walked up they dusted hands off and went back in the kitchen door. Not too weird but I just hoped they washed. So we go in. And were told to sit wherever. Talk about a dump. The entry part of the dining room is ROUGH. You guys, I sat down and leaned back and the whole booth came apart!! Patty came and gave us menus and rushed our order but came back when we told her we needed a minute. There was another couple in there finishing up and we heard them saying how great their food was. Honestly that's what kept us there bc we were ready to walk out. We ordered mushrooms , they were ok. Burnt. Like they came out black bc they were burnt but somehow they tasted ok! Ranch was great. So far so good....we finally order, they get steaks I tried to order the French dip and was told they didn't have any meat for that...yet my FIL ordered prime rib so ?? Moving on. I got the "catch of the day". It was a Swai. None of us had ever heard of it so we asked if it was a local catch. Poor Patty wasn't sure and came back saying it was frozen from a box. Hello what?????? How can that be the fish of the day if it's frozen???? This is Daytona Beach, nothing in their seafood dept should ever be frozen but ...moving on....we all got salads which were good, baked potatoes which were good except for the frozen sour cream packets but the owners brother (who used to be the owner??) said he thought the freezer was acting up again. The coleslaw tasted rancid so we did not eat it. After paying, we got up to wash and my son noticed all the cars. That's when I noticed the bar on the other side of the dining area. It is clearly the basis of the business. It was well lit, clean and doing a business. For some reason, you have to pass thru the decrepit dining to get there. Literally. I felt the roaches as soon as we went entered. I would like to give this a higher rating but there were just so many things they were "off" that I cant. I think if the place was gutted and given a refresh in the dining, they would have more than 2 tables full at a time. The food wasn't awful, but it was not $140 worth good. You can tell by the photos (sorry, didn't take any) that you are going into an affordable old school steakhouse, and that was what I wanted. I was disappointed they did away with the cool oval wooden plate charger that held the hot metal plate that housed that sizzling steak - insert the 70's. I was two months shy of experiencing that. Darn. But the decor was a reminder because the establishment is the same as from back in the day. Our waitress was too notch. Since one of my sides only had four rather over done onion rings, the cook was able to serve me a couple three more. To which earned her a crisp Lincoln. We were on a day trip to Daytona & someone told us to try Webber's for lunch. The interior appears to have been frozen in time. I felt like I was walking into a restaurant back in the 1970s. It was very outdated, but then again, the food is what matters. The waitress was very friendly & did a great job. I ordered the beef tips which came with 2 sides & a slice of bread for $10. The beef tips arrived & were seasoned well & seemed like good quality meat. They tasted great. For my sides I got the salad bar & fried okra. The salad bar was nothing to write home about. It had a large bowl of average lettuce, some bowls of shredded carrots & cucumbers & onions, & some dressings. The fried okra was freshly made & actually very good. I mean ever, took forever, 1 hr plus ran out of hot dogs, baked potatoes, aspagras over cooked steaks, hair in side dishes, onion rings sopping in burnt oil. Black 2 meals out of 9 were good. $275 Bill comped us $18. Not a complainer here been there 30 times +, when food was half price. $37 steak was shoe leather, short handed I understand attitude from waitress understood, she was frustrated also. My girlfriend and I had dinner there tonight. Awesome service, delicious food. The house salad was crisp and fresh and the house made Ranch dressing was great. I had a New York sirloin and my friend had scallops. Cooked to perfection!! The mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome. Not a huge place, but quant and homey.
