For example, my brakes were squeaking and I asked them to look into it. They said my breaks were still at a 30% and wouldn't recommend changing just yet. A raggedy place would of tried to get over on me and say I needed new breaks immediately. Customer service was great, and prices are comparable to other shops.

I had high hopes for this place... mainly because of the awesome reviews and in depth research we…read moredid before bringing the vehicle in for service. I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. Needless to say, be careful getting your car serviced here.

Almost positive I got ripped off. I would love the mechanic shop to refute what I am about to say…read morewith transparency and show me that, no, I did not, in fact, get ripped off. Car: 2002 Toyota Corolla LE, 160K miles, 1 previous owner. Work done: oil leak, very severe $0 remove and replace valve cover gasket w/ valve cover replacement and PCV valve and engine degrease. leaking down the engine onto subframe components and dripping onto the floor. valve cover appear degraded from electrolysis. $1,456.32 remove & replace both CV axles. they have torn inner joint boots and leaking. $1251.29 coolant service -- had the wrong coolant in the car. how dangerous is this? $172. tune up: replace spark plugs, air filter, perform throttle body service, relearn idle, reset ignition and injection adaptive memory if done with the valve covers. $275.87. feels like the biggest rip off % wise lol total cost $3155.48. "Based on published repair-cost aggregators for a car in your Corolla's class, here's how each line item stacks up. Take this as a directional read, not a precise verdict. Valve cover gasket, valve cover replacement, PCV valve, degrease -- $1,456.32. RepairPal's own estimate for a 2002 Corolla valve cover gasket job (parts + labor) is roughly $344-$464. Swapping in a whole new valve cover instead of just the gasket adds maybe $100-$200 in parts, the PCV valve is a $10-$25 part, and an engine degrease might add another $75-$150 in labor. Even generously, a fair all-in price lands around $550-$750. What you paid is nearly double to almost triple that. Both CV axles -- $1,251.29. Corolla-specific estimates put a single axle (parts + labor) around $260-$400 depending on whether reman or OEM axles are used, so both sides together is typically $500-$800 at an independent shop, maybe pushing toward $900-$1,000 at a dealer with OEM parts. $1,251 is on the high side -- probably 30-70% above what I'd expect from an independent shop. Coolant service (wrong coolant found) -- $172. This one looks fine, even good. General coolant flush/service pricing runs about $150-$500+ depending on the shop, and $172 is at the low end of that. No red flags here. Putting it together: a reasonable independent-shop total for all four jobs would land somewhere around $1,600-$2,050. You paid $3,155.48 -- roughly 55-95% more than that. Most of the gap traces back to the valve cover job and, to a lesser extent, the CV axles; the coolant service and tune-up were priced fairly." Hopefully I can at least help one person in the future avoid getting ripped off like I did!

Let me start off by saying that coming into this review I wanted to compliment the service…read moredepartment on something before ripping them a new hole. Outside of the lack of communication the service advisors are quite friendly. This is where the realm of what I've experience with this dealership ends. This is Ford specific This part is Ford specific: Last year I purchased a 2019 Ford F-150 Limited. I can say that ever since my extremely bad treatment back in 2015 when I bought a brand new 2015 Mustang Ecoboost where it was in the shop for over 94 days, I have been extremely hesitant about buying another Ford. Somewhere between dealing with the multitude of issues that Ford has yet to work out in terms of the engine and transmission to the quality of the product. So giving them a chance after 10 years my thought was that they must have at this point gotten their mess together. Oh I was wrong and very wrong at that. The truck I bought, was about 5 years old, but it was the top of the top of the line. Had the best interior quality and had a raptor engine but packaged in a Platinum body. After owning it after a year here's what I have found. The leather on the seats wears so fast that currently the seats on my truck look like the leather seats in a 2001 Lincoln Town Car, it's worn and shriveled. The dash above the steering wheel has started peeling up. This was, in 2019, a very expensive truck and the materials don't show that at all. Ford has told me that it's $5000 to replace the dash. So owners replace it others don't even care due to the cost. I've had the truck in for a multitude of issues to include the transmission twice, and other functioning parts a couple of times. Ford use to be extremely reliable but when Ford tells me that its going to cost $123 to replace a cabin filter and the cost to replace the cabin filter on my 2024 Cadillac was $76, I have serious concerns and questions. This is Gator Ford Specific: My 2019 Ford F-150 Limited went into Gator Ford when I first bought it last year, not even having it for a month, but that was expected when I bought it used. They found somethings that needed attention, and working with my previous service advisor made things very palatable. The communication wasn't what I wanted it to be but he was extremely professional and really ensured that everything was handled at his end. This last time when I came in, my spouse and I were extremely frustrated at the extreme lack of communication. The fact that Ford thinks its ok that people can go more then a week without a vehicle especially when the work they are doing is warranty work for a new Ford part. I turned my truck into service on the Tuesday before thanksgiving, and it was ready Monday afternoon of December 8. That is unacceptable to have to be without a car that long. Further more the lack of communication and the promises of updating and keeping me abreast of the status of my vehicle never happened. I should not have to call you repeatedly to find out what's going on with my vehicle, but have a progress report of what's going on daily if not every other day and when milestones are hit the advisor should be letting the customer know those milestones. I felt like i was pulling out teeth. Between finding out why a brand new transmission was kicking to why the AC felt like it wasn't cooling the truck fast enough. I got multiple responds regarding all the issues and at one point didn't find out that the trucks transmission was being worked on until Thursday 12/4 which puzzled me as no one told me why. So massive problem I have found is the communication between customer and business, but there is one event that caused me to get so furious that it led to me writing this review. Over the last two times I've had my truck at Gator Ford for service, I have had a very expensive scent diffuser broken, and this last time I went to pick up the truck there were multiple grease stain on the doors and interior as well as the fact they didn't clean up after themselves and left my important documents that they took out of my glove box on the floor. I know of no business that treats other peoples vehicles like this and to do so means that you have no respect for your customers or their property what so ever leaving water bottles and trash in someone's truck and leaving it a mess is very bad business i have to say.

Bennette's Auto Repair is a mechanic shop on another level. I have done business with many…read moredifferent auto shops in my lifetime and in contrast, the service is literally like night and day! For starters, the customer service is consistently top of the line. If for some reason they miss your call, they call you back promptly even if you didn't leave a voice message. I've found most mechanics to be terrible at answering their phone at all. The ones that do answer are very short with you and seem inconvenienced if asked more than 2-3 basic questions. In comparison, these guys are friendly, enthusiastic, and actually helpful! They work with your schedule as best as they can and even recommend the best local businesses for work they don't perform i.e. auto body shop. Don't just take my word for it; do yourself a favor and call them; even just to get info regarding your specific need. From the initial phone call, you'll see what I'm talking about. Even more importantly, Bennett's Auto Shop is honest and operates with integrity. My very first experience with them was when my car started making an alarming rattling sound while driving on the highway. I was sure it would be a minimum of several hundred dollars in repair. Bennet made a way to fit me in the schedule toward the end of the day, took the time to jack the car up, and saw that a simple loose screw was causing all the racket. He was completely transparent, and even showed my husband what he had found. How many of you know that the majority of places nowadays would have slapped you with a large bill and you wouldn't even be informed of the simplicity of the repair. With that being said, we weren't even charged for the service. If you're looking for a place that you can trust, you've found it! This place holds themselves to a higher standard and they conduct business with a spirit of excellence. I highly recommend Bennett's Auto and I'll be referring anyone who is in need of a mechanic, as It's truly one of a kind!
