Lady appears to work by herself but she had my alterations done when promised and at a reasonable price.

The employees are so friendly and knowledgeable and really go above and beyond to help. They have a wide variety of fabric, patterns, notions, and kits and they sell sewing machines and sergers that come with hands-on instruction after your purchase. They also service sewing machines. Love this shop!

I dropped it off in October to get fixed. I paid for the part, labor and repair 148.10 dollars. When I picked it up I should have checked it out and tested it, but we just moved here from Florida. With all the moving and house settling I did not use my machine for a couple of months. When we were finally settled I had some sewing projects to do for our new home and encountered the same issues again. By that time the coronavirus hit. By the end of May, when the store officially opened I dropped off my machine again. I called several times and left messages to see if my machine was ready, but did not get any answers. Yesterday I called again and asked for the store owner Jenny. It is now July 6. She was very compassionate and assured me that it should not have taken this long, even with the virus. I asked her if I had to pay again and she said that she would take care of it. Today I got a phone call from Joel the repairman who was working on my machine just now (I dropped it off the end of May). He was very nice and did figure out the problem. Apparently I am not using my machine enough and the bearings locked up. When I called again today and asked for Jenny to see when I can pick it up , she basically told me I needed to pay another $112 dollars . I will pick up my machine and pay, but will look for a different repair shop in the future. I wish I had checked my machine right away and all of this could have been avoided. I was also not aware that I could have dropped off my machine during the time the store was officially closed. Lesson learned.
